@乙乇ᗪㄖ几Ꮆ爪卂ㄖ don't say what Britishers say. Adi Shankaracharya was a promoter of Advaita Vedanta not the founder.
The concept of Aham brahmasmi and maya existed in vedas way before Shankaracharya.

lina ray he meant to say Sanatana Dharma, the name of the Vedic religion. “Hindu” is misnomer for a ethnic group and not found in any scriptural basis.

ॐ I would appreciate if there was awareness in people to call it "Dharma" "धर्म ". "The law of Multiverse, ब्रह्मा़ंड " , "law of nature, प्रकृति". And the co existence of all three of us. प्रकृति, जीवात्मा and परमात्मा. This manifests itself in our way of life based on Sanatan Sanskriti. Vedic SANSKRITI is repository of knowledge of human evolution. This evolved with the time and yug (kaal). Dharma has universal application without discrimination.
      1. According to the eternal knowledge on this ever existing mutliverse there is no creator or creation only the manifestation. Three always existed "Prakriti" the mutliverse/nature "jivatma" the creature /species and "Ishwar" the all pervasive Parmatma. The "purush" called jivatma the "prakriti" called nature and the "Ishwar" called all pervasive "paramatma".
"Neither created nor destroyed only changes forms" the famous quote of "Gita" by Lord Krishna sums it up regarding existence of this Multiverse and us. And how insignificant we are in this Multiverse has been described in detail in few references that if we as a human goes to certain "Devalok", some earth like planets in this Multiverse and spend just a day there and come back on earth how many Lakhs of years would have already been passed on this earth. Interesting calculation of one day of "ब्रह्म" equals numbers of years on "पृथ्वी" earth. ईशावासयम इदं सर्वम
This knowledge of universal applications gave such a good and peaceful life to its followers that India was the top economy of the world till 1200 AD since ancient time and supported most of the population in less lands and resources without destroying it unlike industrial civilization. Till the Islamic invaders took over the major part of India after several failed attempts of invasion loot and plunder.
      2. The place between Himalaya in north to indu sarovar (Indian ocean) in south is called Hindu. Himalya Hi + indu. Makes the word Hindu. Used for geographic demarcation. Hindu kush mountain Hindu river called as Sindhu river all indicated the sanskrit origin of the word. But yes doesn't indicate religion but Geographic. Hindustan is a pure sanskrit origin word. Hindu + sthan. Any word added with "sthan" indicates its sanskrit origin. "sthan" became "stan" in apbhransh and prakrit. Has nothing to do with Persian or Arabic. Read the Aagmas and puran. I repeat Hindu word is of Indian origin and mentioned in Sanskrit text not a foreign word given by foreigners. But used mostly by them to identify the people living in this area.
The muslim invaders tried to demean the word Hindu with many bad words to show them down and paint them as bad people. This is how racist jokes are created. They used this word so many times that it sounded like they created this word.
      3. Since" Dharma" evolved and led humans from darkness to light from ignorance to knowledge. "तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमया". There was no other religion to compete So there is no name, no rules for bashing other religion and concept of conversion. You can't bash criticize or compete non existent.
      4. This is why got more than 1400 books scriptures on various topics helpful in material and spiritual life and this knowledge evolved with time.
      5. Ayurvda, Medicine, Vyakrna, Natyashashtra, state crafts, yagya hawan ritual, philosophy, astrology, Jyotish, poetics, sangita shastra, yoga, Veda,Vedanta, Aagam, Nigam, Itihas, Puran, Vyakaran, chhand, Nirukta, Mimansa architecture mathematics to name a few. Books are available on every aspect of human brain can imagine in such a detail that only one book Mahabharat contains one lakh shlokas.
And this great knowledge is not only confined to Sanskrit text but in all ancient languages like Tamil Prakrit Pali Malyalam Kannada Telgu Odiya Marathi Bangali etc. Difficult to describe them in detail here. Just leaving that on readers interest and reasrech according to their likings.
      6. In short Dharma is celebration of the diversity of Human knowledge. Celebrating life and Nature is integral part of Sanatan sanskriti. Hindu celebrate Holi Diwali Chhath Pongal Vaisakhi Sankranti alongside numerous smaller celebration round the year.
      7. We as a layman only know about Dharma as a blind man knows about elephant after holding the tail of the elephant.
      8. Most of us are only able to know what we see on daily basis like nature and creation worship. And on the basis of this we criticize and appreciate dharma. But Dharma criticize none. Dharma don't give scope for criticism but enlightenment and seeking truth .
      9. There is so much more to know. Since I am born in a Dharma followers family. Therefore I celebrate the diversity of human thoughts with ease. Dose not mean i know everything. But once you will know Dharma out of the set criteria of Abrahamic religion for Dharma. You will find nothing to criticize like a blind man holding an elephant tail and saying why he is made to hold a snake. Instead of criticism You will question and seek answers.
      10. Aghori sadhu is one example of acceptance of extremes by Sanatan dharma. For example when you see a survivor on discovery eating dead animal poo and pee either you appreciate or criticize this. But no one can deny that this human will survive the odd. And Dharma have a complete set of philosophy and practicing sect called aghori. However a few. To make sure that the human will survive the extreme. Human will not die out because of the certain dogmas made by the so called civilized society or religion. Dharma supports all accommodates all.
You must have heard the news that NASA is recycling human pee and poo of scientists on board so they can survive on that for long in space. It's obvious that no madarsachhap can become such scientists.
      11. Religion ends at heaven and hell only but the Dharma gives to strive even beyond this. That's Moksha complete liberation. Gives emphasis on seeking, knowing your self deep within and finding your own path. This is the reason from Sanatan dharma lots of ism like Jain, Buddha, Sikh, vaishnava Shaiva, Atheism, came out without any conflict or blood shed. Can you imagine the same with Abrahmic religion?
      12. If someone adopts Sanatan dharma way of life. He automatically fits into the either Varna Vyavstha Brahman, Kshatriya, Vaishya, Shudra according to their profession or Ashram Vyavstha Brahmacharya Grihasth Vanprasth and Sanyas. Together its called Varnashram Vyavstha for the benefit of the society. I can enlighten you on this vedic Varnashram vayvstha. Mail me
Varna division start from us. Our head is our brahma to control our shoulders are our kshatriya to protect us our stomach is our vysya to feed us and our foot are our shudra to serve us. In other words for ourselves we ourselves are our ब्राह्मण, क्षत्रिय, वैश्य and शूद्र. For our family we all ब्राह्मण, क्षत्रिय, वैश्य and शूद्र for each other.
But for the society we are ब्राह्मण, क्षत्रिय, वैश्य and शूद्र according to our profession to the society. In Another term division of profession. Which exists all over the world in different forms. And this is most scientific division of profession to avoid conflict in society. This Varna can be achieved by your Karma.
To fit into Ashram one has nothing to do. Fits in naturally and can stay in any of the phase as long as he wants.
Now it depends on us that we respect equally to our teacher and our toilet cleaner. Which Dharma clearly says respect each and every thing. This is why worship for all not only to teachers. So if you respect your teacher and toilet cleaner equally you are a great Dharmik person. To show respect we must touch feet not the head. Now where you see fault in this varna system. Lots of Rishi like Valmiki, Vedvyas, Ravidas, Parashar etc were not born in cast Brahman but respected worshipped. Cast seems a tribal identity with all the evils of Ego and depends totally on an individual local social environment no support from Dharma
      13. Sanatan Dharma allow an individual to seek truth, follow a path or make his her own path to reach the goal of 'Brahma" the energy and consciousness of the Brahmaand. The feeling of अहं ब्रह्मास्मी, I am the consciousness makes one enlighten and तत् त्वमसी, so are you makes you a Guru.
This is the reason encouraged many enlightened soul to find and make their own path. Thus Jainism, Buddhism, Sikhism, sant parampra like Kabir, Ravidas etc were born without any conflict. Dharma allowed them to propagate and flourish
      14. Comparing Dharma with one book one prophet religion is not a good idea. Can only increase ignorance. Because books of mazhab are small simple and for that for the followers of that particular mazhab only. So better study the world's oldest surviving civilization based on Dharma with universal application, yourself. अहं ब्रह्मास्मी l तत त्वं असी. सर्वे जना:सुखिनो भवन्तु. सर्वे सन्तु निराम्या:l वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम l सत्यमेव जयते l ॐ शांति l and most relevant mantra of today सठे साठयम समाअचरेत 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Anupalabdi (अनुपलब्धि) means non-perception, negative/cognitive proof.[11] Anupalabdhi pramana suggests that knowing a negative, such as "there is no jug in this room" is a form of valid knowledge. If something can be observed or inferred or proven as non-existent or impossible, then one knows more than what one did without such means.[46] In the two schools of Hinduism that consider Anupalabdhi as epistemically valuable, a valid conclusion is either sadrupa(positive) or asadrupa (negative) relation - both correct and valuable. Like other pramana, Indian scholars refined Anupalabdi to four types: non-perception of the cause, non-perception of the effect, non-perception of object, and non-perception of contradiction. Only two schools of Hinduism accepted and developed the concept "non-perception" as a pramana. The schools that endorsed Anupalabdi affirmed that it as valid and useful when the other five pramanas fail in one's pursuit of knowledge and truth.[9]
Abhava (अभाव) means non-existence. Some scholars consider Anupalabdi to be same as Abhava,[4] while others consider Anupalabdi and Abhava as different.[9][47] Abhava-pramana has been discussed in ancient Hindu texts in the context of Padārtha (पदार्थ, referent of a term). A Padartha is defined as that which is simultaneously Astitva (existent), Jneyatva(knowable) and Abhidheyatva (nameable).[48]Specific examples of padartha, states Bartley, include dravya (substance), guna (quality), karma(activity/motion), samanya/jati (universal/class property), samavaya (inherence) and vishesha(individuality). Abhava is then explained as "referents of negative expression" in contrast to "referents of positive expression" in Padartha.[48]An absence, state the ancient scholars, is also "existent, knowable and nameable", giving the example of negative numbers, silence as a form of testimony, asatkaryavada theory of causation, and analysis of deficit as real and valuable. Abhava was further refined in four types, by the schools of Hinduism that accepted it as a useful method of epistemology: dhvamsa (termination of what existed), atyanta-abhava (impossibility, absolute non-existence, contradiction), anyonya-abhava (mutual negation, reciprocal absence) and pragavasa (prior, antecedent non-existence).

Hinduism is monoestic I can prove that. And it is the only religion accepted by many people in the world by Swami Vivekananda speech. For short readers , Hinduism says " To avoid our next life and join back to our creater soul, we must do good things to nature and life begins".

it is unfortunate we have turned sanatan dharma into another dogma like islam and christianity or ism /isms sanatan dharma is science and technology of life or cosmos . it embraces relations and co-dependence and obligations duties to one another scholars ( rishis gurus munies acharyas avatars ) have contributed to this body of knowledge. shanti and non violence is cardinal principles for life to exist sincere scholars should study this body of knowledge and contribute to our ecosystem if need is to remove the filth dirt ( religions believe political vested interests ) should be exposed to humanity ------life is celeration it should be celebrated which is snatan dharma

I have already discussed Madva dualism in an earlier video 'Hinduism why so many philosophies'. The reason why I did not include them in this video, is that his philosophy of pure separation between God and the jiva is unique amongst the Vaishnava bhakti movements, the video repeatedly makes the point of the jiva being part of the supreme, if I included Madva I would have to continuously explain him as being different to the others - which would be unnecessary distraction from the overall point of the video.

Arthāpatti (अर्थापत्ति) means postulation, derivation from circumstances.[4][6] In contemporary logic, this pramana is similar to circumstantial implication.[42] As example, if a person left in a boat on river earlier, and the time is now past the expected time of arrival, then the circumstances support the truth postulate that the person has arrived. Many Indian scholars considered this pramana as invalid or at best weak, because the boat may have gotten delayed or diverted.[43] However, in cases such as deriving the time of a future sunrise or sunset, this method was asserted by the proponents to be reliable. Another common example for arthapatti in ancient Hindu texts is, that if "Devadatta is fat" and "Devadatta does not eat in day", then the following must be true: "Devadatta eats in the night". This form of postulation and deriving from circumstances is, claim the Indian scholars, a means to discovery, proper insight and knowledge.[44] The Hindu schools that accept this means of knowledge state that this method is a valid means to conditional knowledge and truths about a subject and object in original premises or different premises. The schools that do not accept this method, state that postulation, extrapolation and circumstantial implication is either derivable from other pramanas or flawed means to correct knowledge, instead one must rely on direct perception or proper inference.

As someone belonging to a tradition that is a fussion of Bhakti, Mimamsa, and Advaita, this was a very reasonable and logical explanation of why Bhakti-yoga is often viewed as supreme. Many times in my interactions with many Gauriya-Vaishanavas, they are verybold in their views but do not explain them in a very systematic way tracing all the way back to the Vedic days. Thank you very much.
I am reminded of a statement of my Guru which came to my mind while writing this comment, the statement is "... the great mystery of spiritual life is how the One Supreme Being, beyond everything, and Supremely Infinate, becomes so small that It dwells in the heart of the bhakta (the one who loves God).
Once again, thank you for this splendid video. Your videos have been a great help on my path and return back to God.

Very fascinating. In my opinion, Bhakti seems to make the most sense. Many people who've had Near Death Experiences talk about feeling God's unconditional love and that feeling being a desire for all souls (Since it is implied, often in New Age concepts that we evolve to eventually merge back to God again and the cycle continues.) Only seeing life as suffering or an illusion prevents us from seeing the beauty and divine all around us. Only seeking materialistic pleasure does not provide long-term happiness. I think there needs to be a balance between living fully in our physical reality and understanding we are a part of something greater. Also, in NDEs and from psychics/mediums, it is implied that we are still individual souls in the afterlife but also inseparable from God. We choose our lives to learn, grow, and experience. "Back to God, Away From Religion" by Gopi Menon describes God as the all-loving energy that is everywhere, which made our physical reality for our growth and benefit. All paths lead back to God and we all will discover who we really are at our own pace.

Anumāna (अनुमान) means inference. It is described as reaching a new conclusion and truth from one or more observations and previous truths by applying reason.[34] Observing smoke and inferring fire is an example of Anumana.[8] In all except one Hindu philosophies,[35] this is a valid and useful means to knowledge. The method of inference is explained by Indian texts as consisting of three parts: pratijna (hypothesis), hetu (a reason), and drshtanta (examples).[36] The hypothesis must further be broken down into two parts, state the ancient Indian scholars: sadhya (that idea which needs to proven or disproven) and paksha (the object on which the sadhya is predicated). The inference is conditionally true if sapaksha(positive examples as evidence) are present, and if vipaksha (negative examples as counter-evidence) are absent. For rigor, the Indian philosophies also state further epistemic steps. For example, they demand Vyapti - the requirement that the hetu (reason) must necessarily and separately account for the inference in "all" cases, in both sapaksha and vipaksha.[36][37] A conditionally proven hypothesis is called a nigamana (conclusion)
