Hey Robin I doubt you'll read this but in case you do, I want to thank you for your videos. I never knew what to do with my hair but your videos have helped. I k ow it sounds silly but I really did gain a lot of confidence after I started experimenting with my hair and style with your help So thank you for all of that. Wish this channel and yourself the best 😊
That was fun to watch Robin. However, I think; the matte finish with a good volume suits you much better (Just in my opinion). But, just to see how it looks and for the cause of an experiment, it's alright. Catch the Hi🖐😀
I am dying laughing haha!! I watched this video and then the other styling video that you did with goon grease. Then I saw a video about “the 5 things I hate” or “the 5 products I hate” or something like that, and both those were on it! 😂 Im like, “okay delete from cart… and delete from cart” the search continues! Love the videos my friend! I have thick hair and I always seem to get fly always. I’ll find one that works for me soon!
Hi Robin, another good one! I have to say that your hair looks great: very thick and full. I think the Nioxin did wonders for your hair. And the style you've chosen is a classic. Well done! Wanted to let you know that spring cleaning was a success and actually got rid of more clothes than I thought I would. Thanks for your motivational video. Also, came across a new clay product called Jack Henry. It is a very minimalistic product with only four ingredients: beeswax, bentonite clay, coconut oil and lavender oil. Something you may want to check out.
Can you do a video to get those 1920’s type waves in the comb over? A saw a guy use pomade and the back of the comb to create the waves but haven’t been able to find it since. Thanks 🙏
good vid, i love this look and overall the more classic slick backs and pomps. for some reason when i try i get so much frizz and fly aways that could be caused by not layering like you said. im gonna try it out your way
Hey Robin, i'm a big fan of your honest content, could you please do a review about kevin murphy rough rider or brand battle between rough rider and any other product in the same range like baxter or patrickm3 !
Hi robin! I was wondering if u could give a detailed description of your exact hair type, texture, and density. Just because when your watching UA-cam everyone's hair is different. I know you've said your hair is fine and you have a lot of it. But other people might not know that and not know other factors too. Thanks! Love your videos!
Hey Robin , Big Fan of yours for simple reasons that you do honest reviews. Wish i had seen them before. i Iive in Dubai where access to the products suggested is almost close to zero. I ordered a product all he way from UK which costed almost twice the product amount in shipping and it was horrible. So as a true fan i would like to ask if you could send a good hair product that you may have received for trial to me?
Hey Deepak, thanks for joining me. Unfortunately I don't send hair products out. I would have to pay for the posting and - as you say - it would cost twice the amount of the product. Hopefully there are some other products that I've featured that you can find.
OKAY this is hilarious, I was just re watching the video on pink reuzel and also other videos from more of their line. Awesome cut too. I’m getting into a classic&greeserish look but I need my hair to be longer. Looking fresh my friend
Hey Robin, this is what I have been waiting for. I love this hairstyle and I’m very new to all this hairstyling. I have short/medium length hair, I use Uppercut Deluxe Pomade, and comb my short fringe back. I don’t use a hairdryer or any thickening tonic as I don’t have great deal of time in a morning. So can you offer me any advice, can I use thickening tonic without hairdryer, and am I using the right pomade, as I want to get a great look and style. Thanks John
Hey Robin, I have a question. So I have fine and straight hair that's kinda short but I'm trying to grow out to your length. I was wondering if you have any suggestions on how to grow out this type of hair since yours is the same. I just got the sides cut using a 1 guard and my hairdresser trimmed up the top a bit to help it grow the right way. I'm going through the awkward stages of growth where my hair looks fluffy and is half sticking up and half laying down because there isn't enough weight yet. Btw I love your content!
hey ! i heard that some people dont use shampoo and claim its cure dandruff + makes hair healthy what do you think about this ? (i think if we dont shampoo our hair and just wash it with water, i think that it will lead us to hairloss cus of oil on scalp right)
Robin, I'm a 19 year old with thick, oily hair. However, I've noticed that my crown is rather thin in comparison to help rest of my hair. This is worrying me a bit, as I don't want any balding or thinning to occur in years to come - any tips?
Hi Robin. What Clay would you recommend for fine hair? I have thin fine hair, just like you. I saw in your other videos that you used Hanz De Fuko Claymation for a good while before moving on. Is there a better alternative with the same price point? Or can I just go ahead with Hanz?
Robin James Yeaaea I have. Quite a few now, but still no consensus on what's a safe choice. Asian here, if that matters, our hair's different, so yea was wondering whats good.
Recently found and fell in love with your channel. I'd really love to get some more product reviews and your thoughts on styling creams. Love the content but it seems to mostly focus on pomades, waxes, and clays - these have typically not worked great for me in the past. I use American Crew Forming Cream and it looks like maybe the Blumaan Meraki and some of the Gatsby moving rubber line somewhat fall into this category also. I've also seen you do some "cream clay" type products but I am wondering if there are others out there that you recommend. Also, I have a lot of thin hair like you but mine is curly, which I don't like. I straighten it before I style. It requires more/higher hold prestyler product to accomplish. Many of the prestylers you recommend tend to be lighter I think because they fit your hair type. In fact, I find that most youtubers doing hair content have naturally straight hair and it makes it difficult for me to figure out if products they recommend are actually going to work for me. Do you have any that are a little more robust for us curly hair folks that can tame the beast before we style the hair?
LOVE THE MUSTACHE! That’s pretty damn “classic,” LoL, but, I was born in 1985 and my dad’s generation ALMOST ALL wore them but now even he doesn’t wear them anymore.
even if i prefer your former hairstyling over this, its really nice to see your hair growing out somehow. i think especially the longer sides fit you so well robin :) Also: Have you ever thought about reviewing die ORIENT products?
I personally don’t care if my hair gets “greasy” so long as it doesn’t look greasy and looks good... I put oil in it everyday and isn’t grease actually just congealed oil?
You are looking like a proper British Gentleman.. great vid Robin ..
Thanks Namish.

Hey! This is a lovely message. Exactly why I'm here.
I'm enjoying experimenting with the longer hair on the sides.
Will see what else I can do with it. Like it?
Robin James its nice
Thanks!
Robin James no problem🙌
Robin James are you planning on growing the sides even longer?
That was fun to watch Robin. However, I think; the matte finish with a good volume suits you much better (Just in my opinion). But, just to see how it looks and for the cause of an experiment, it's alright. Catch the Hi🖐😀
I admire you as a best Men’s essentials youtuber. Doing a great work sir ❤️
Thanks Vanshaj.

Multiple camera angles now, upping that production quality I see.
Ha ha! Yes!

We need to bring back the classic hairstyles. Lol✌
Finally, spotlight for Reuzel

Glad the spring clean went well. Sounds like a total success!
Thank you. I needed this for my Chicago hairstyle since I can’t do hair at all
The musical for those who don’t know
Absolutely lovely per usual Robin. Loving the new look with this part. Also, that side camera? Stunning! Keep it up pal.
Thanks!
Can you do a video to get those 1920’s type waves in the comb over? A saw a guy use pomade and the back of the comb to create the waves but haven’t been able to find it since.

That moustache really compliments your face!😎

I love your new hair style 🆒
Have a fabulous week Robin ❤️
Thanks Erin
Hey Robin! I'm a huge fan of your videos. Could you make a video about good haircuts for men with a receding hairline?
Yes! Would love to.
Robin James thank you so much!

Hey Mason. This is quite the request. I will have to really look into it.
What kinds of hairstyles is This called it's so cool
Hey Robin, great video as always. Would you recommend this hairstyle for a person with a round face?
Hey, best to give it a go. But it could do. All in how you pull it off.
You really suit more hair at the sides
Hey Robin ,
Big Fan of yours for simple reasons that you do honest reviews. Wish i had seen them before. i Iive in Dubai where access to the products suggested is almost close to zero. I ordered a product all he way from UK which costed almost twice the product amount in shipping and it was horrible.

Great timing!
Great tutorial as usual Robin and it's looking good on you. Btw what hair dryer are you using , may I ask ?
Hey! I popped the link in the description. Hope it helps.
Robin James thanks mate , it does

Hey John, I'd use a hairdryer with a pre-styler, helps to set the style. If you can get up earlier, that could help? Even just 5 minutes.
Thanks Robin, will give it a try, that’s maybe why I can’t get it right.
Hey Robin, I have a question. So I have fine and straight hair that's kinda short but I'm trying to grow out to your length. Hey, just go through it. Regular trims to keep it neat. But let it grow. Keep it tight around your ears and neck.
I love the new hair, just I feel it would look better with a tiny bit more volume
I have been doing more volume day-to-day. Just one hairstyle.
Just in time for prom. Thanks Robin James
Hi Robin, will you re-do Forward quiff hairstyle tutorial like back in 2013-2014?
Which one was that?
flawless !!!
Thanks Dwayne
hey ! i heard that some people dont use shampoo and claim its cure dandruff + makes hair healthy
what do you think about this ?
(i think if we dont shampoo our hair and just wash it with water, i think that it will lead us to hairloss cus of oil on scalp right)
that sweater reminds me of bioshock.
Robin you're so cool and awesome. Great video
Robin, I'm a 19 year old with thick, oily hair. However, I've noticed that my crown is rather thin in comparison to help rest of my hair. This is worrying me a bit, as I don't want any balding or thinning to occur in years to come - any tips?
I have a question. Is it normal to lose hair while washing and styling it? And how many Hair do you lose?
good content Robin...
keep it up.
Hey Robin, could you review reuzel products now that you have started to use the green pomade? Also don't forget to try the fibre.
Yes, would love to.

Hey, I've done a few clay product videos. Have you seen them in Brand Battles?
Robin James Yeaaea I have. Quite a few now, but still no consensus on what's a safe choice. Asian here, if that matters, our hair's different, so yea was wondering whats good.
I see you shop at Sally’s to.
Keep going.... For
The Best👊👊👊
Thank you!
Martin, how do I do the hairstyle like Martin Wallstrom? The hair gelled back but smooth and looks as if you never actually gelled it
You look so sweet like an innocent kid in that hairstyle
Eek... with a moustache!

Wish I could rock these sort of cuts, one of the downsides of having a big forehead.
Have you tried?
What haircut do you recommend with this style
Weird point, but I really don't like the new caps Aveda are using on the thickening tonic. It makes the bottle look much cheaper and very late 90s.
Weird, I was thinking the exact same thing! It's very 90s.
Hey Robin! Can you review the Krieger and sohne hair clay?
Hey! I don't know them but I'll keep an eye out.
Robin what's your opinion on Heavey Mad Hanz de Fuko ?!
Hey Qasem. Still to try it. Will get onto it.
Hey im looking for a water based hair produt which gives a pretty high hold an low shine. Any recommendations?
A water-based pomade could work? Have you tried any?
I love it!
😀
Can you do a review on the vita goods scalp massager please

Is that Bixby comb? 😊
hey, it's not but I should check these out!
You really should! High quality, handmade combs :p less hair pulling. ive British Kent comb, very nice ones :)
even if i prefer your former hairstyling over this, its really nice to see your hair growing out somehow. i think especially the longer sides fit you so well robin :)
Also: Have you ever thought about reviewing die ORIENT products?
Thank you. Just experimenting.
I don't know these products. Will make sure I check them out.
Nice Robin like it but im shaved my hair
That's cool. It grows.
Where can I buy that mustache?
We love you 😘
Thank you! Very kind.
What do you think about dyeing the eyebrows? I have been thinking a long time but i dont know what others think about it.
Hey, I did a video on it. Have you seen? ua-cam.com/video/WpC7x5zSsEA/v-deo.html
Robin James i haven't seen that, thanks!
Dude's mustache ⚡
Robin do you like hair gel remember in the past you made a video why you hate it
Hey, I still don't use it.
Will pink would also work the same way
Hey, it can do. It's just heavier.
You look like Madison Twatter in Skins!
I prefer your old haircut, maybe with shorter sides i would like this slick back
Hey, that's cool.
Why r u not using label m thickening tonic now a days
I change my products up !
You are such a fancy man~
I personally don’t care if my hair gets “greasy” so long as it doesn’t look greasy and looks good... I put oil in it everyday and isn’t grease actually just congealed oil?

She'll love it!

All about the deep side part. :D
Robin James yes it is !! ❤️
Is it possible if you could check out the hair products and such from this UA-camr named Edward Zo? It seems like his products are high quality
Any drug store hair products I can use to thicken my hair?
I can take a look.
nice :)
Cheers!
try kevin murphy rough rider greit clay
Do you use it?
it's my favorite clay, i am really surprised that you never used it since you like kevin murphy
Update on nioxin?
I just purchased some, and I would really appreciate an update video. My hair dresser tried telling me about another product called actiiv
Video: 3 Years ago
Also Video: 2018
A lighter pomade would be better as that is what people would have used in the 20s-40s and its also a lot easier and better for thin hair.
Thanks. I really liked this one though.
It would work better for curly hair
Wont lie at first i thought you were thoughty 2 😂
