      That was fun to watch Robin. However, I think; the matte finish with a good volume suits you much better (Just in my opinion). But, just to see how it looks and for the cause of an experiment, it's alright. Catch the Hi🖐😀

    I am dying laughing haha!! I watched this video and then the other styling video that you did with goon grease. Then I saw a video about “the 5 things I hate” or “the 5 products I hate” or something like that, and both those were on it! 😂 Im like, “okay delete from cart… and delete from cart” the search continues! Love the videos my friend! I have thick hair and I always seem to get fly always. I’ll find one that works for me soon!

    Hi Robin, another good one! I have to say that your hair looks great: very thick and full. I think the Nioxin did wonders for your hair. And the style you've chosen is a classic. Well done! Wanted to let you know that spring cleaning was a success and actually got rid of more clothes than I thought I would. Thanks for your motivational video. Also, came across a new clay product called Jack Henry. It is a very minimalistic product with only four ingredients: beeswax, bentonite clay, coconut oil and lavender oil. Something you may want to check out.

    Hey Robin ,
    Big Fan of yours for simple reasons that you do honest reviews. Wish i had seen them before. i Iive in Dubai where access to the products suggested is almost close to zero. I ordered a product all he way from UK which costed almost twice the product amount in shipping and it was horrible.
    So as a true fan i would like to ask if you could send a good hair product that you may have received for trial to me?

    • @ManForHimself
      @ManForHimself  6 років тому

      Hey Deepak, thanks for joining me.
      Unfortunately I don't send hair products out. I would have to pay for the posting and - as you say - it would cost twice the amount of the product.
      Hopefully there are some other products that I've featured that you can find.

    Hey Robin, this is what I have been waiting for. I love this hairstyle and I’m very new to all this hairstyling. I have short/medium length hair, I use Uppercut Deluxe Pomade, and comb my short fringe back. I don’t use a hairdryer or any thickening tonic as I don’t have great deal of time in a morning. So can you offer me any advice, can I use thickening tonic without hairdryer, and am I using the right pomade, as I want to get a great look and style. Thanks John

    • @ManForHimself
      @ManForHimself  6 років тому +1

      Hey John, I'd use a hairdryer with a pre-styler, helps to set the style. If you can get up earlier, that could help? Even just 5 minutes.

    Hey Robin, I have a question. So I have fine and straight hair that's kinda short but I'm trying to grow out to your length. I was wondering if you have any suggestions on how to grow out this type of hair since yours is the same. I just got the sides cut using a 1 guard and my hairdresser trimmed up the top a bit to help it grow the right way. I'm going through the awkward stages of growth where my hair looks fluffy and is half sticking up and half laying down because there isn't enough weight yet. Btw I love your content!

    • @ManForHimself
      @ManForHimself  6 років тому

      Hey, just go through it. Regular trims to keep it neat. But let it grow. Keep it tight around your ears and neck.

    What Clay would you recommend for fine hair? I have thin fine hair, just like you. I saw in your other videos that you used Hanz De Fuko Claymation for a good while before moving on. Is there a better alternative with the same price point? Or can I just go ahead with Hanz?

    Recently found and fell in love with your channel. I'd really love to get some more product reviews and your thoughts on styling creams. Love the content but it seems to mostly focus on pomades, waxes, and clays - these have typically not worked great for me in the past. I use American Crew Forming Cream and it looks like maybe the Blumaan Meraki and some of the Gatsby moving rubber line somewhat fall into this category also. I've also seen you do some "cream clay" type products but I am wondering if there are others out there that you recommend. Also, I have a lot of thin hair like you but mine is curly, which I don't like. I straighten it before I style. It requires more/higher hold prestyler product to accomplish. Many of the prestylers you recommend tend to be lighter I think because they fit your hair type. In fact, I find that most youtubers doing hair content have naturally straight hair and it makes it difficult for me to figure out if products they recommend are actually going to work for me.
    Do you have any that are a little more robust for us curly hair folks that can tame the beast before we style the hair?
