You nailed that hairstyle! You should do a Rudolph Valentino tutorial, I have yet to see someone nail that hairstyle..good vid👍

Thank you very much! I will do my best to do that video before the end of the week, I will be uploading a Clark Gable tutorial tomorrow and I have a current request to do Bing Crosby as well, but Valentino will be my next priority since it's easier.

Rockabilly Asian Clark Gable had awesome hair too, that'd be awesome! Have ever tried Dax high n tight? That might be my favorite oil based, the smell, hold, shine is incredible.Almost the perfect pomade for me.It has an old school Barber shop scent too.

I tried neither so far. Are you referring to Awesome Hold or Awesome Shine?

Rockabilly Asian they both work very well together as a combo, but the awesome hold in particular.

I'd like to see a valentino tutorial as well. It's very hard to get the very flat/plastered down look that was popular in the 20s.

Great style! I'm a girl (who just stumbled across your channel) and I wish more guys did their hair like this! Men can never go wrong emulating Cary Grant! Happy to see a guy taking part in vintage hair tutorials, too! Awesome! :)

Hevynly1 Anytime! I'm so glad that you like my channel and that there's a girl who does appreciate vintage styles, because imo it looks a lot more class in comparison to today's styles. What got you into searching a video for Cary Grant's hair anyway haha

Oh, absolutely! Many of us do, I think! haha, I figured you'd be wondering about that. I was looking for a Grace Kelly hair set, and the autoplay took me to your video next. I'd never actually watched how a men's set was done, so I stayed around for the education! Goopy, but great! :D

Hevynly1 Pretty much the same time period so I wouldn't be so surprised I guess. Stats show that a lot of my viewers came from autoplay/suggested videos (UA-cam recommending my videos is great in a way that it shows that I have good ratings).

Trouble is, men's hair dressing are disappearing off the market these days. There's nothing left to buy and to use to comb your hair with anymore. Only two left now are Brylcream and Vitalis and soon, even those two will soon disappear off the market to. And I don't trust buying things off of the internet because I've seen how employees throw packages around on the convoer belts when load or unloading customers ordered packages.

Looking smart is timeless ! that means a smart haircut to polished shoes and everything in between . Many guys have forgotten what this means but they just need to be reminded.

I’m not Asian but I do have thin, straight hair and I’m glad I found these videos. It’s hard to find classic hairstyle vids.

Thanks! But depending on my current situation, I MIGHT take a long break from UA-cam between February and September. I'll definitely be making videos in the later part of this year though.

if you look closely at any of cary grant's pics, you'll notice that he parted his hair almost from a 90 degree angle making his hair on top almost flat looking

SirRageAlot VII I agree, good for the topcoat or for the top of the hair alone (the sides still need a base product for strength)

Sir... do you have the front crown of your hair left longer than the rest of your hair? Is that essentially how an "executive contour" is cut by a barber?

Can this work for me? I have Mexican hair (cuz i am mexican) and it's thick. Does my hair need any special treatment? Because it's very unruly.
I use Brylcreem and sometimes groom and clean. Does that work?
    Thanks

Gee Whizz! How much more stuff are ya gonna put in your hair? The Vasiline hair Tonic should be enough to use in your hair and to hold it in place when you also use water with Vasiline hair Tonic.

    • @pomadesandpompadours6309
      @pomadesandpompadours6309  2 роки тому +3

Gee Whizz! How many more close minded comments are ya gonna post? The Vaseline hair tonic was insufficient, you seem to be very unaware that there are many more hair types than your fine Caucasian hair that literally needs nothing but water and oil. What works well for you may be a trash method for others.
