For the enthusiast, the 2014 model is available fully loaded with a manual transmission. Other than that, stay away from the 2017 model. They shaft you in the highest trim, doesn't even come with led taillights. If you're interested, go for the 2016 model.
I just bought a 17 Elantra Gt. see how it handles. its basic, no sun roof, turn signal on the mirrors, or heated seats like my 11 elantra ltd. but I think I'll like it overall.
Good solid review! Just bought this car in GLS manual trim and take delivery in a few days. No tech package or leather but otherwise very similar, looking forward to the manual transmission!
I am also looking at a 16 GT without tech but with style and 6 speed manual, under 20 grand with rebates, I have a 2009 Accent SE manual with low miles, 3rd new Hyundai and always satisfied. Had a 2003 Accent base but I hated that NUMB steering especially since I came from a totally manual vehicle, had that for about 6 years then a 2008 Accent manual then the 2009 SE.The person who bought the 03 had it for MANY years and over 150,000
I just bought the automatic. traded in my 2006 Audi A4 for it. I got it for roughly 19k after negotiation, and it has the style package. It really is a nice car, I'm really enjoying it so far!
I don't have a push button start option. I noticed at the dealership that when I turned the key, while in the ignition port, there was a slight delay before it actually turned over. Getting the starter to engage requires a very odd angle that I have never felt before starting a vehicle. Usually cars engage the starter around the 90° angle. Since the entry is also at an odd angle starter engagement is a bit further which is quite uncomfortable. So I was kind of freaking out at the delay I have to notice waiting for the connection to the starter to happen and I think the fact that some of these can be started with the push button option has everything to do with it.
Thank you so much for this review! I get my new 2016 GT today fully loaded. This video made me more excited!!
DivaDee1281 hi there .. how is it by the way in general & as engine is it fast ? Because I am thinking to buy one 😊

That's what I have. put a K&N CAI and getting a new dual exhaust on it soon. I also plan on swapping the engine for the 4g63
