My truck sounds badass now, I can't thank you guys enough!!!! I can literally just drive around with the windows down and no radio and just listen to my truck!!!
I'm a die-hard Ford guy, but this generation of the Silverado (2016-2018) is my favorite body style. The exhaust sounds fantastic. The 2016-2018 Silverado would be the Silverado I would own because the body style looks sooooo good. If I wasn't able to have a Ford.
A little update, after a few weeks of running this setup a lot of the "raspyness" is gone and it has smoothed out a lot. A little drone at highway speeds when around 2000 RPM but not bad. I have also noticed a lot crisper throttle response as well. Can't thank you guys enough!!!!
Hey that's great you showed me this. I've actually been thinking about buying one of these and putting an exhaust system on it. So this video really really helped me out. Thanks everyone at Exhaust Addicts. You guys all rock 🤘😎💯🥃🍻🍺🍷 V THA MADMAN from San Diego Cali
The EPA will shut them down if they do. Under federal law, if a shop removes a catalytic converter, they must install another one in its place. Basically, since the truck came with that cat from the factory, Exhaust Addicts can't legally delete it. Even if it passes emissions after the delete.
Wait, didn't he say they were gonna run 2 1/4" after the adapter? Afterwards he says 2.5" all the way back. I'm not sure how much difference it would make but wondering if it's sound, back pressure/performance, or why exactly they run the specific pipe sizes they do. Sounds awesome!
Hi I have a question so I’ve seen your work and I admire it! But I’ve been welding for a good amount of time and I know now a days we have lots of electronics so I’m somewhat afraid of doing my own exhaust although I have all the materials so, how do you protect all those sensitive electronics without damaging them . And can I use a surge protector from Amazon to weld and keep my electronics safe? I have a welder grinder and other things to do it myself but I’d love to hear from more experienced people (specifically a mid muffler rear muffler delete with valvatronics in the rear for dodge charger r/t 2018)
I don’t understand all the fluctuations in pipe sizes. He brought 3” parts and pieces, why not keep the everything the same size? Back pressure is not your friend and creating back pressure reduces power. Peak power may not see much reduction but when you look at a dyno graph the curve losses will be felt. But people will swear they feel power improvement but it’s a placebo effect because you’re in the gas harder because you’re wanting to hear the truck more now.
@logicbewithyou111 high flow cats were only 100 bucks, also in TN you can't just remove factory cats, that's why to make it true dual I had to add a cat hence the high flows

Music to your ears bro. It sounds awesome 👍😎
Hate To Tell You But Those High Flow Cats Were A Waste Of Money. They Aren't Monitored
flowmaster for the win?
@cprooks i doubt he wouldnt have an issue if the other cats are still installed doing their purposes
@cprooks it's state law here. You can't remove factory cats.

8:04 the sound it made shifting on the drive off was spicy🌶️
That sounds super good AF! Y’all deserve a handclap for that one. The black tips set it off. Another job well done.
In my opinion the best sounding exhaust for that era of Silverado.
Dude!!!!! That exhaust on the GM trucks just sounds so much better than anything out there. Great job guys!!!!!

the first "newer" vehicle i buy will be a truck. for sure. exhaust, role bar in the back like their silverado, maybe some lights, and wrap is the plan
Scott is just happy to be there
Sounds really great with true dual and flowmaster flow fx 💪 and it looks great in the colour blue 👌
Glad you like it!
Chevys are bad ass trucks. Sounds amazing 👏
Those FlowFx are usually pretty tame. Those high flow cats with the true duals woke them up!
I got a tundra with the flow fx and those cats def made a difference
The exhaust is actually held back again now that he has 4 catalytic converters-2 being stock 500 cell cats and 2 being aftermarket 200 cell cats.
My 2011 Chevy 1500 Z92 I had long tube headers no cats with gibson exhaust. It sounds badass
Man i love your videos!!!
Just delete the 3rd cat there's no o2 sensor after
Exactly thats what I did and it’s perfectly legal least here in TX.

@@kyletrummel69 Yes! and at minimum it's a $10,000 fine just to start!!!!!
@@kyletrummel69well there's two arguments there because the 2004 silverado 5.3s only has two. So why add a 3rd? Lol
@@LandonClimbs you think the EPA's emission standards won't change over 14 years?
Nice truck! It has a great stance and the subtle specs are perfect. Now it sounds like a truck too.
Sharp looking truck. Sounds good.
Thanks 👍
The 3rd cat can be deleted. It’s only for Comifornia and New York Emission standards. Y’all need to start carrying Magnaflow 14419 mufflers.

It sounds good, but 4 converters is wild..... 2 is my limit if I have to run them.....
Nice work! 🤘🏻😎🔨 Sounds very nice. I like it. 💀
Sounds great guys
Sounds good Beastmode
Badass!!!! 💪🏻💪🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Flowmaster Series Baby!
Do the same set up but with an X pipe added on the other truck, for comparison
That thing so nice

Those tips! Emerson Biggins. Curious if he considered or if you recommended an X-pipe?
Considered it but maybe later
I'm going to bring my Durango to yall lol
The dreaded 3rd cat is only required for California emissions.
are these converters or this exhaust system california legal??
Nothing is legal in California
❤❤❤❤❤❤
MENGA MINT!!!

Smaller pipe size adds that raspy sound if i remember correctly, I did full 3 inch pipe on my bronco and it was a deep tone no rasp
Anybody gonna mention the right tip being lower than the left
Needs an x pipe
Pretty rusty frame for a southern truck
Truck was bought in NewYork
i would have removed the 2 additional cats and only left one in
Something cleaner sounding on the black Chevy. Not really a fan of how the blue one sounds now.
Sounds like one of those “squatted” messes.
wouldve just deleted the third cat, wasted so much money putting high flow cats. needs an x pipe too. would sound better that way.

@@stevepaga9947 100 dollars a piece for those flowmaster cats is too much. it’s unfortunate you have to put high flow cats in it’s place.
That is NOT a clean sound!! Sounds like an old beat up dump truck, what a shame!
