It’s awesome seeing so many guys that played in the 2000s bringing their kids to fields. I started playing again this year and taking my sons (15&13), we take 2 to 4 of their buddy’s with us too.
As soon as I heard "You Know", this took me right back to marathoning Dynasty Dissected as a teen. Good to know Ollie Lang hasn't changed too-too much after all these years.
Crazy been watching ollie since i was in jr high here in vegas when he played on ironman and ltz our first pro team at the events it was so hard to cheer against ollie but i had so many friends who played on ltz i had to root against him. Love seeing this classic team winning again!!
That's the move that stuck with me too. Its the move I tell people about when first introducing them to Oliver. Its on a VHS from like Traumahead or something i believe.
I kept rewinding it. I knew I was seeing evidence of something invisible. I think I had bought a cd from a paintball store where Angel Fragoza was working. I was new to the game and was constantly trying to pick Angel's brain. I asked Angel if he could recommend any of the videos at the shop... I kept watching that part over and over. I brought it up to Angel the next time I was in the shop and he said that Oliver and some other teammates were actually going to be in town soon and would be in the shop. I remember thinking I have to meet this guy. Oliver is such an exceptional example of how our souls can function through our lives.
Yin/Yang is one of the most important symbols for me. I've my own mentality of yin/yang since I was a little boy, and I've always seen it as green/black and that's gonna be my first tattoo. My own side of it, the division of earth, nature, and human life. The void of space and time, the light in life, the darkness in death and, the good and bad in it all. I've always felt this huge battle between humans and civilization and real natural life, like when you're in the city, you feel the planet and the energy lines and everything are totally messed up. To stand in times square is to stand in the heart of the devils, not the heart of the gods. You stand atop a burial mound, a mountain peak, a waterfall, a volcano, and feel life, love, peace, wholeness, freedom, longing, so many feelings of being alive and breathing. You stand in the city you feel the beat of mans drum, the destruction of life and love, the lack of empathy and consideration, the greed, the entitlement, no consideration of others, the decay. That's a big thing for me. It's always a battle inside, knowing what is happening, what the billionaires are doing to our planet, our governments, these bodies of greed and evil. To support the American government is beyond insane. They're literally corrupt devils. Stealing billions of dollars and killing millions of innocent people. You look at a big corporation and you see a long line of evil and greed. Look at Elon Musk and his family. Rich white people from South Africa that are the embodiment of greed and evil, and this dude shows up to that convention or the emmy's or whatever wearing a devil suit. He posts stuff on twitter like a picture of his fake revolver on his night stand from deus ex which is a game about the rich controlling the masses. Their wealth is from slavery, emerald mines, apartheid etc... this man is in a higher state of power than you can imagine and he's a walking talking embodiment of evil. Just like all the people in senate and congress he tries to shit on. Add in the fact that there's a large amount of people with no inner monologue, no inner voice, no conscious guiding their decisions, people with no soul that are on autopilot and those are making up 30-50% of the population. These are the people who have no inner light, people voting for and supporting people like Putin. Or Donald Trump. Paintball is fun and a great sport, but I'll always be torn by the way of the world. We still use guns that take batteries that fill landfills with acid. We've not gone away from wasting, just making better and better guns. You can only be so spiritual, it gets to the point where every aspect of life starts to be wrong because our society and the way the world works. If good and evil run the world, evil has taken over. There's no light right now.
I have been searching for the video of Ollie making the that move against LA iornmen I can find the game they had against bobs team but not that one. Anyone know where I can find it?? I watched in real time that day and it was amazing best play I’d ever seen
Very powerful closing Oliver. Your inner wisdom has paved an amazingly blessed experience of this world. The right choice is made on the razors edge and is light and delicate and yields the power of the whole universe threaded in action and the tidals of nonaction. The sweetest memories are born in bitter tears. A functional living is a balanced treasure in the heavens and it will last longer than the earth. the higher you fly the deeper you can fall. who will join God in the sacrifice that creates the universe after it's end?
