These ring brother dudes ain't no FUCCIN joke, they killin the game rite now👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Your comment “killed” my beautiful language. A grammatical, elementary dumpster fire. Well done. 👍🏻
If I ever win the the lottery, I'm buying a Ringbrother's Car. LOVE LOVE
LOVE their work. Clean looks, high quality designs and builds, and as
Matt pointed out, subtle. The cars they build never lose there
identity.
I think this is the cleanest, most tidy build I've ever seen.
That engine bay lol
jay cracks me up. the things he comments about are the little things like the FLEX JOINTS on the exhaust and the fact that the tremec shifter can be adjusted lol.
That engine bay is so clean I was not expecting that
As I'm 66 years old also, that is a beautiful Camero! Top, bottom, inside and out! Absolutely "Right On Man! Great work to the team and to you Dave!
Lol, camero?
omg that interior is incredible
Gregory Perkins best thing about the car to me. That gauge cluster is greatness.
im with jay with the big wheels.i wouldnthave gone past 16-18 but then again i wouldnt have wanted 1000 horse because its never usable
Gregory Perkins tottaly agree!! jesus...gorgeous!!
that seat color tho...
My favorite muscle car and what they’ve done to it makes it 10x better.
The blue and gold is beautiful.
my god that dashboard... n that interior... what a beauty....
Emmanuel Thommy The gauge pack looks like a Swiss watch. Pretty dang cool.
That dash is beautiful.
Agree!
Yep the interior is a work of art!
I built a race style dash panel for my 81 camaro which the car isn't even done yet. I thought I had a nice dash panel. Geeze the time invested. That panel is a 10 out of 10.
Mines maby a 7 or 8.
Factory 81 camaro dash panel is a 2 at best.
This car is amazing. Good job boys.
If i ever win Lotto i know who's building my car!.
Yer Supposed to say…When You Win the Lotto🤑👍
Rolling art, Ring Bro's are masters of their craft
The stock factory67- 69 body is just one that can't be improved upon.
The designers did a great job.
That is one cleeeean engine bay.
This is one of the nicest custom cars I've ever seen. As much as everyone dislikes different parts of it, I think it all fits together beautifully. Good work gentlemen!
I really like jays laid back style of critique- he dont pick things apart negatively he just uses his eyes and ears and gives his opinion on what works and what might need a little work 👍👍👍
That's one great car the machining is exceptional the tradesmen should be proud of their work
That is one sexy Camaro! I love the sound, especially when Jay had it pulling higher rpms.
I wish we could have seen more details on that hood and what the story is with the removable insert.
All in all, the Ring Bros. hit a homerun again.
That's super clean I like modern texture on old cars
Ring Brothers NAILED it Jay! I think these guys are the Best car builders in the world!
Why the hell are there 68 thumbs down votes? This car is right at perfection!
Ford owners who are hating life.....lol
This is what modern day muscle cars should look like. Classic muscle cars with modern touches and technology.
Nicely done with the HRE wheels, Satin/brushed gold is amazing.
I have seen some other car from the ring brothers. They are the masters of blending old and new this is one of the best cars I have seen
Jesus God. What craftsmanship. Amazingly awesome work. That build is at least a 180K-200K. It easily costs that much to build.
this car is close to 7 figures.
WOW. This one sure stirred up controversy in the comments. When are people going to grow up & understand the entire world does not revolve around their own personal tastes. I think the car is amazing. The dash & seats are impeccable. Sure, there's a few things I would've preferred done a little different, like the wheels are a bit large for my taste, but I would still take it just the way it is, regardless. And I'm willing to bet most of the critics would change their mind, if they were allowed to own it for a month. It would grow on them. Bet on it. The car is just too nice not to.
Howabouthetruth true
Opinions and tastes, that is what sets us all apart, otherwise we would all drive the exact same car. That's what its all about. I could drive this car for a year and I still wouldn't like the gold wheels. They don't match anything and make it look like a teenager's Subaru. Gunmetal finish on the same wheels would have been perfect. I have a 1968 RS/SS with a 6 speed and 496 BBC but not done to anywhere near the level of this car but it does give me a certain level of insight...:-)
Howabouthetruth if you took the car out and got in a major accident you would just pull out the knife and do yourself in
Yeah, this was built to the tastes and specifications of a specific customer.
Howabouthetruth no offense but you have bad taste, this car is terrible looking besides the amazing quality of craftmenship.... a timeless build incorperates, logic, purity, period correction, and quality. Everything the ringbrothers do is tacky, awkward or potentially ricy just like Chip Foose. Ringbrothers need to learn from Singer, Emory motorsport and of course Icon design.. Those are true outlaw designers.........
I'm pleasantly surprised at how much this video made me smile. I love the '69 Camaro to start with, and I'm so impressed with what they did with it in so many subtle ways (like the door corners curves, the mirrors, the door handles -- subtle but really fantastic). I don't love the wheels but I don't hate them, and I think in the whole big picture the design works beautifully. And I was surprised at how much I loved the ideas in the instrument panel. The Ring Brothers do wonderful integrated designs and I was taken aback when they opened the hood, how clean it was with the panels covering the wiring and stuff, so just "enough" of the engine shows through. For some reason I was really amused about how Jay ribbed the guys for having the owner so involved and then we actually got to see the guy. Don was not quite what I expected but overall I was very entertained by this one. Thanks to Jay, the Ring Brothers, Don, and of course the production crew for making this a fun half-hour.
The want is real. This Camaro is f'ing gorgeous.
Pj
OP hi
The sound that car makes had me tearing up a bit. What a glorious machine.
General Motors designers take note:This is how you bring back a classic design, not that 5 foot wide A pillar, chopped top, hacked front end you call the 2017 Camaro. You can do it I have faith in you.
Dammit I should have finished design school. :D
Yep. The new Camaros are ugly.
Col. Angus They just need to change the front end and back end and make it look less plastic.
The plastic Camaros are not ugly, just a fat interpretation of a 69.
Though at nearly 4000lb this car too is obese by about a 1000lb over the original.
LDN Wholesale They don't look fat just cheap
You gotta remember though, that crash tests dictate a large majority of what designers can do these days for a mass market automobile. I do sympathize with your comment in the sense that new car designs are seriously lacking compared to the designs of the classic era. I just assume that modern safety standards are playing a major role in why most new cars essentially look "the same".
whether you like how it looks, when you hear it drive and see how powerful it is, that alone is awesome
I enjoy watching the videos from Jay's garage, and it's obvious the Ring brothers know what they are doing. Overall I liked the clean look and changes, I guess what stuck out to me, that I would change, would be the wheels ( the gold I didn't care for), the interior color and seat design or shape ( I definitely didn't care for the interior color). Other than that, I liked what they did. I like the idea of making modest changes, subtle, clean, but keep the original look. Overall very sweet, these guys do quality work. Keep em rolling Jay, Thanks, John
john g Why should anyone care about your opinion, John? You wrote that comment as though you really are an expert who should be taken seriously.
What a beauty. The Ring Bros out do themselves every time. Killer machine and a work of art. Thanks Jay.
What a beautifully executed build. Jay, you must buy a lot of donuts for the local patrolmen to get away with the test drives you do. Please keep up the great channel.
Hey is probably on the board for the Burbank Police Dept.
Meets the definition of the term "Drive tastefully" what a way to kick off 2017
that engine bay though! awesome as always from the ring bros
I said the exact same thing when they opened it up :) I personally hate seeing wires all over the place.
+Raegal Dorn its a clean looking car, its twitchy but maybe cured if they loose the stripes
It's easy to binge watch Leno's vehicles.
I'm 54 years old and now I feel like a teen ager now! Thank you Jay. That was soooooo cool.
Wow, very nice and restrained for a Ring Bros design. If that is a new direction for them, I like it. And that sound...
Been a Camaro fan since forever - gotta give this build some respect. What a freakin' gem! ~ S ~
such nice guys. good to see they can keep up the banter with Jay.
This has to be the single most beautiful camaro I've ever seen. Absolutely amazing
cant believe the owner never drove it before ....sad
Love the fact all the modern upgrades done to this car! If you driven the original version. You would want this car!!!
The owner sounds cool. Good to hear he didn't want any non-GM parts on it. I hate to see mix and match auto manufacturers parts on such a sweet ride.
azurebluemach so what, if it works!
How petty and trivial it is to hate to see a mix of manufacturers on a completely custom car. Stupid.
these guys Ring Brothers are awesome what they do to cars this Camaro is absolutely flawless
Top rated car with timeless quality.
My favorite SEMA builders are the Ring Brothers . The stance is amazing along with the color and fine details. Can't forget to mention the fantastic car interior .
those wheels are two big for my taste, as well as the ground fx on the sides, other than that, it's really nice
those brakes barely fit in them
too* from your friendly neighborhood grammar Nazi.
oops, my mistake lmao
They are not two big, they are four big!
Stock Rally 15" wheels for me, I hate Hot Wheels road cars. 1" tires ride so much better. My 25 year old Caddy and truck both have their 15s on them.
I loved it and I am a 67/68 guy...thumbs up Ring Bros
You really need to see this car in person before trash talking it. Pictures/video just don't show how beautiful this car truely is. It is absolutely incredible in person. The attention to detail, the fit and finish, and quality is phenomenal. I personally love what the RingBrothers did with it. It has a factory feel, with custom touches.
the motor and the engine bay is just gorgeous
We used to have a 69 z28 then a rally sport back in the 80s and early 90s . I wish we had realized then just what we had. Man if we still had some of the cars we used to just trade around for we'd have a fortune today. Hats off to Jay for his great taste in all his cars. Plus he seems pretty approachable to boot. I bet he's a hoot to hang with he seems like he doesn't care to get his hands dirty.
Take off those tires and get rid of those ground effects and I'm sold. I love it.
As someone who has modded my car, I respect whatever the owner chooses to do with it. I personally put a lot of effort into retaining factory stuff as much as was practical but that's just me.
man..ring bros absolutely knocked it ot of the park again! if i ever won the lottery...I just want one car made from them! then probly all my cars from then on!! man...i really love their work!!! soo frecking cool!!
Ring Brothers knocked it out of the park with this one. Beautiful Camaro. And can't forget all the stuff The owner Don did!
The steering wheel damn my favorite. In fact, the entire interior is well done. Very few people can redesign an interior to look so beautiful in a classic car
I had a 69 Z28 that I wish I still had....
Wish I still had my plain Jane model. Hey, it was a 69 Camaro.
They do such nice work. This and the Mustang that they did all in carbon fiber are my favorites from the Ring Bros.. Classic cars should look classic. Beautiful!
Very cool car. It just sreams "RACE". And beautiful seat, very beautiful seats!
Wonder what it cost to build this car?
Thomas Tommy if I had to take a guess I'd say $350,000 but Ring Bro cars probably demand more money because of the name. so I guess the appropriate question would be what does it cost to make a car like this? or what does Ring charge to do it? I bet there is a big difference.
Kyle Spraberry lol how many of you guys can afford one? To be honest. I would never pay three hundred and fifty thousand for any car. Unless I knew I could sell it for a profit. lol. Should you pay that for a car?
I don't think the owner has making a profit in mind when having a car this custom made. I highly doubt anyone who has Ring make them a car has profit in mind. Anyway most of the time very little profit is to be made when doing a car like this. The market is just to unpredictable and it takes a very specific buyer.
if you have to ask you cant afford it. Impressive car but no matter how much money you make for a living spending 300Gs on a Camaro you have to have money to burn . I wish it was lighter and had an IRS.. 12 bolts suck
450k...the have 5000 hours on the clocks for it
That is an amazing car. I love Jay's videos. I always like the part in the video where Jay and his guest talk about the technical stuff.
American craftsmanship is alive and well!
Machined plastic taillights.
Not glass molded.
Plebs.
Disposable Channel just plastic lenses, works just fine.
Disposable Channel and what car has glass molded taillight these days....
Disposable Channel 😱🙀🖕
there is no better car than this. freaking perfection
Yet another amazing car by the Ring Brothers. These guys sure know how to put a car together. 5,000 hrs +!!! Can you imagine how much it's worth? I take it that doesn't include any materials, my goodness. Sweet sweet ride.
Love your videos Jay. There is nothing like it in UA-cam when it comes to cars, motorcycles, or anything that's powered for that matter. That camaro is a work of art with a good balance in taste which is the most difficult part of the build, given the fact that it's relative to so many people's tastes. It's great as it is but like anyone else I'd like to make some changes to that masterpiece, sort of like making it lighter with a great handling suspension with lots of grip, ergonomics, light steering feel balance, ABS, bigger gas tank, etc... And while being as beautiful and civilized as it looks now. Thanks RING and crew you give great examples of art to all of car enthusiasts, always :)
This thing is the most classiest, most tasteful, and coolest restomod on this entire channel.
I think the interior is over the top . best I have seen . everything goes together so sweet
I love just about everything the Ring Bros create. FANTASTIC
That is the cleanest engine bay I will probably ever see.
that's probably the best '69 Camaro I've ever seen!
I like it. The color the exhaust note the fact it has 800+ foot pounds of torque in to 6100rpm. Couldn't get the smile off my face, unless I wrecked it.
That is the cleanest engine bay I have ever seen.
I love the cars that these guys build.
I'm not a fan of american muscle cars, but this...this is just gorgeous!!!! I'd just give it a living room of my house just to let it rest there and a sofa in front just to sit and watch it the whole time. FANTASTIC GUYS!
It's too overdone and a bit ricy for my taste, but the work that was put in the project was incredible
Anita K you look incredible
Hawk Hawk thank you
Said the spider to the fly! Lol
Anita K my pleasure
I could say the same about you youre overdone but your natural beauty shines the best
was never a muscle car guy untill i saw a few of em on Jay's show.
Come on guys yes it's all modern looking and fitting of the G code but everyone has their own taste. The owner of this likes it and that's why he worked his whole life striving for it. I for one would love to own this car, gold rims would have to go but other than that she's a beaut and a powerhouse. The white striping and under her hood won me over. Gorgeous.
Truly an amazing car. It's rare for me to see an extremely well built car and this is certainly one of them.
This is darn near my dream car (of course I have tweaks I would do to make it mine). A 1st gen Camaro that keeps the look of the original but, is modern. The interior with that gauge cluster is a work of art.
These guys make such well build cars. It's basically a completely new car and despite the modern rims and carbon additions it is still clearly a '69 Camaro, I really like it. I'm also a sucker for supercharger whines so I like that as well ;)
omg that engine sound during the burn out was amazing I kept replaying it hehe
Like the car or not still gotta appreciate the craftsmanship put into his thing~!
oh my God this car I need really really need it almost lost for words this car is phenomenal
Im a machinist, programmer, designer, etc... that machine work is really really nice.
thumbs up just for that burnout......though the wheels, imo, look awful with that paint job..ground effects looked like they were just slapped on without any thought to the lines of the car.....
probably my favorite classic car build..... well over a half million put into this
mind blowing...imagine if the white line was also that dusky gold like that RIM color...i could watch her whole day.
WOW they are the best id love to see and feel those bumpers in person seems like a great client to be hooked up with taillights are cool underneath is a work of art thanks Jay another great episode
Is Don a member of the more money than brains club too? If not sign him up. What a beautiful car and the workmanship is amazing. Thanks Don for letting Jay show it to us.
mirrors and sideskirts look terrible :D
these guys are unreal. . . hats off . wow
I don't like these guys, and I don't like this car.
It's...."NOT overdone"..?? Seriously??
Leno's in talk show host mode. He doesn't own any stupid cars like this nor has he bought one from the Ring brothers despite the fact they come on his channel all the time.
You're mistaking the internet for your diary.
It's not your car. You don't have to like it or like them. Someone else hired them to build this car for them. It's not always about you.
Lol I'm with you man. I don't like it at all. Jay don't lie to the poor guys. They do good work and I can appreciate the car but be honest. It's well overdone.
Paul Riddoch What'd they say- something like 5,000 man-hours in it, and I'd figure AT LEAST a quarter of a million dollars or more, to get it to this point. Yeeeeeeah.
That camaro is perfection.
I love every car they build.
I think this is my favorite car Jay has ever had - exceptional!
My fave! Grandpa had one in the garage for years, so close to that same color! Sadly it burned in a town fire in 2000. Really sharp lookin! Good job guys!
Stunned when hood opened; so clean, austere.
yep, that was also the part which impressed me most.
Finally you guys smashing it with those wheels I Love them n the colour is perfect Full Send U.K.
👍
Only seen 2 of the RINGBROTHERS cars but having said that,,, I have doncluded they ARE THE BEST!
