Land Rover Lane Keep Assist & Blind Spot Assist - Steering Assist for Semi-autonomous Driving

Lane Departure Warning
Pressing the lane departure warning button on the right side of the steering wheel activates orange and displays a white warning light on the instrument panel.
When the vehicle's speed reaches about 70km or more, it turns into a green warning light and is activated.
If you have lane assist and blind spot assist enabled, they will be activated and enabled.
Lane Keep Assist
It can be activated from the instrument panel menu and you can choose between steering vibration and steering assist.
If you select steering vibration, the steering wheel vibrates when you leave the lane.
When steering assist is selected, the steering wheel actively moves when leaving the lane, keeping the lane in the middle.
Blind Spot Assist
It can be activated from the instrument panel menu and you can choose between steering assist and alert only.
Selecting steering assist prevents lane changes when a vehicle is detected in a blind spot.
If you select alert only, it serves as a monitoring system that displays only the warning light on the side mirror.

This is very helpful. I thought my new 2020 RR Evoque had technical issues. Blindspot monitoring was only showing an orange dot. The manual they provided doesn't help much...

I need help - my 2020 defender won’t keep the setting when de-activate the emergency lane keeping. Every time I start my car up the factory settings are activated. Landrover South Africa can help me. Please give input if you are able to

Settings such as the emergency brake system are automatically activated at the next restart, even if the driver deactivates them.
These parts are assumed to be designed for safety.
The only way is to manually disable it by the driver each time.

does the cruise assist function in stop and go traffic or just at highway speeds?

Land Rover has cruise control and adaptive cruise control.
Cruise control allows you to drive only at a set speed.
Stop&go is possible when using adaptive cruise control.

I know that most brands, not just Honda, are better autonomous than Land Rover.
Land Rover started its autonomous driving system relatively recently, so it is expected to change in the future.
