I would never put it past NASCAR's current leadership to target a team/driver. Does the name Jeremy Mayfield ring a bell to anyone? Larson isn't saying it loud enough for the people in the back. This car is a total hunk of garbage. I don't care who thinks it's closer to a modern production car or not. Because it does NOT put on good racing enough to warrant using Homestead as any kind of proof that it's a good race car. Plus the sedan and coupe are both dying at an alarming rate on the streets of the US. Camaro and Challenger just died. They're not being made anymore. The only actual cars on the street from NASCAR related OEM's will be Camry and Mustang come 2025. So Chevy won't even be racing a current production vehicle for the street in a STOCKCAR series next year. I'm sorry but a modified bastard child of a GT3 car and Aussie Supercar is NOT what stockcar auto racing needs. HH.
The decline of actual cars is disappointing, but keep in mind that the Challenger is simply being replaced by the redesigned Charger, which will have two and four-door versions. So as far as Dodge goes, that's a wash. Of course, that has no bearing on NASCAR so it doesn't change your point there. I just wanted to point out that Dodge is at least replacing the Challenger with something similar, while Chevy appears to having nothing to replace the Camaro in any way.
@@ravagingwolverine666 that's of course relying on Dodge still existing. Their parent company Stellantis just sold their proving grounds test track and looks to be about 1 inch away from bankruptcy. Those cars might not ever see the light of day on a showroom floor. @@PaperBanjo64 I'll be honest. I've been around this sport in general a LONG time. I've seen enough to know concepts that work, and concepts that do not work. When this car was announced, I said the minute I saw the specs it was going to be a complete disaster and it would not work, nor would there be an actual fix that could make it work. That's not to be negative, that's understanding what it takes to get good handling out of an oval race car. You can't build a car on an ultra stiff platform like an indycar, then make it weigh 3,000+ lbs and expect it to perform well. Especially on a short track where you NEED a lot of suspension travel. And that's not just in the car itself, but in the loss of the sidewall of the tire. There's a LOT more I could delve into, but that's the basic issue at hand with this crapwagon.
Its been quite apparent for decades that nascar manipulates race outcomes. The races are definitely not entirely scripted. However nascars inconsistencies with throwing or not cautions in a timely manner, selective dvp enforcement, implementing or not pit road penalties, enforcement or not of post race inspection rule violations etc all have been used to help or hinder different drivers. It seems nascar selects a group of 5-10 different cars they would like to see have good finishes every week and uses that as a basis for their in race/post race decisions
Agree , there not totally scripted. But soon as KL did a drifting stunt. THE CAUTION should of NEVER been thrown, at worst he only looses 1 spot. So the 45 got a Free spot up front of the race, but it never should of been there to begin with, KL did not wreck, it was no more than a slide and Nascar quick to hit the caution button. When there was no reson to be cautious to any driver out there, But hes in the playoffs so BAM instant Caution to make Drama , its sickening TBH 🤯😳🤷♂️💯🤮
The 45 looked like it had 50 more horsepower going around Blaney on the last lap. It seems like NASCAR always wants Toyota to have a competitive advantage.
Hate to say it ... that Riddick win looked staged as fuck. Blaney just gives the top ?? And then slows really early?? In the interview Blaney said it sucks that they had to give that one away. ... Maybe this sounds crazy or maybe we are all just incredibly naive to reality.
Favor one of Nascars biggest sponsors Toyota Hmm 🤔 . Watching the race sure looked like the commentators were rooting for Ole Denny 11. Split screen for real!!

Wouldn't surprise me if they were targeting RCR, but I think they would be going after 23XI first though. There is no excuse for practice and qualifying to be on the app only when you have a streaming service that broadcasts all kind of other Motorsports. Put everything on Peacock.
NBC has been the worst, WORST nascar coverage anyone could ever imagine. They should never be allowed near a NASCAR event in the future ever. This started years ago when they cut away from a major race with 10 laps to go for a soccer game. It wasn’t the last time they did it either.
The guys on DBC were talking about bee problems in the spotter’s stands not to long ago. You would think that this is one of the easier things for the tracks to have a handle on.
Kyle - The drama is going to grow with: 1.) this car, 2.) the sudden retirements of young drivers (brain injuries), 3.) “who deserves what $$$” - team viability, and 4.) the bully “always gets what he wants?”. HH. There has to be a few things changed/deleted from this car asap! The "matchbox car under belly" has made these cars so stiff that drivers are feeling the aftermath from a "small wreck" where as they shouldn't. The low profile tires was a huge mistake considering the diffuser.

Glad to subscribe to beating and banging, great coverage, well done organizing the scanners, I was on pit road and this was hands down the most exhilarating race I've ever been to. Would have been even crazier if Larson was there at the end too, but his pit crew botched it again on the last caution, pit gun stuck. I was right behind his box, hoping for a rebound after vegas, but their pits were horrible all day. One last chance to fix that. Though he might have lost pace anyways after an extremely eventful day for his extremely fragile half a million $ car. I still imagine a clean pit for 5 and he's duking it out with reddick while blaney and hamlin are in the rearview. These cars are next level, but only engineered for speed and safety, durability went out the window with the good old boys and their wrenches so they could stuff the car with engineers like they were clowns. It's still amazing they engineered such a fragile car that's so safe for the driver. However, anyone who wrenches anything knows, the most pride in our work lies in the abuse our work can take, so Larson is right, f'in stupid, until they bring some balls back to NASCAR. Too many minor incidents sending cars to the garage. If they keep it up it will look more like f1 than NASCAR. Look forward for more beating and banging videos, keep up the good work! -HH
Just sounds like racing to me, basically every sport. Football for example when touch downs are taken away for one reason or another. Or 20 second penalties for Verstappen in F1. You can never make all the driver OR all the fans happy. But racing is still better than watching naked people try to survive in the woods behind the studio.
nbc has been a disaster after about a year of normal. Why nascar would have a televiser that doesn't even seem to think it is important to telecast all of the events, especially when it is the part of the season that they seem to think is so big with their phony playoff gimmick. But then again it is nascar isn't it
HH.That finish was gold. As for Muniz,I really hope that he gets a good ride and team for next year. The poor guy works so hard. I think he just needs a quality truck and he can be up front. And Busch and his bad luck. Good grief. He needs a break. The RCR cars ran great for two weeks. Then back to running in the back again. What's going on?
Safety wise the car needs to crumple more. A "bulletproof cage" but the energy and inertia should be absorbed by the outer areas better. Driving a stiff tank at 150-200mph is just not safe.

Larson was upset by turbulent air between Dillon and Blaney, but that pass works in a Sprint Car. "This car is stupid." Looks great, but misses the mark in some very important ways. @x-man5056 yeah this car is 5x more expensive, races worse everywhere besides 1.5s, and has hurt and ended Kurt's career, it's caused more problems than fixed them.

I cannot wait after every race for his Monday UA-cam video. I'm looking forward to radioactive tomorrow cause I wanna hear Red team radio there on the last lap. That should be interesting and exciting!
First, HH . I agree Nascar always has it for somebody. When Richard said,I had to sign the new agreement with Nascar because I have employees I have to take care of. Nascar has never been consistent with rules. It seems like sometimes they try to stop or control who wins.
HHH - fits my decor PERFECTLY. Thank you! Surprised SVG missed out on a mention for his ‘fuel whispering’! Cup race was most exciting in my recent memory, literally held my breath last 1½ laps!
HH. Bells comments on the radio at Vegas were just raw human emotion and that's ok. All in all homestead was an amazing race and what a crazy awesome finish. One minute I thought Denny had it, then Blaney got by and I was sure he had it, boy was I wrong. Gotta give Reddick credit for that move in 3 and 4. Also gotta give Blaney crap for letting Reddick have that line. Awesome video as always!
I am looking forward to watching xfinity races and may just give up on cup for a while. The xfinity car has more lug nuts, and the race will be on air so I can watch just about any Saturday with only an antenna. No app issues. I can only assume the production will get better over time.
I agree. Been enjoying Xfinity a lot more than cup for many years now. Especially since the new crappie car, that isn't a stock car. I know that they haven't been for a long time but at least make the cars seem more like stock cars of old! The safety features are the only things that needed improvement
For anyone not watching the Truck and X races, please try to. On a three race wknd I find that almost certainly the cup race will not be the best of them and sometimes is in the last place. If it wasn't for more money and the top drivers it would always be last with the product. The Truck and X cars are too much with aero and HP restrictions but they are still a lot closer to stock car type slip and slide racing. If I wanted open wheel I would watch that.

I can only speed through the recording of these races, the last 20-30 laps. The whole STAGES DEAL, STINKS!!. NASCAR has managed to control results with Charters, penalties and tech BS. The drivers do what they can but NASCAR has turned into a "Trophy for everyone" deal, especially if your sponsor also pays for the TV commercials. @@KillyJoe Look, I'm not stupid. I "get" it but there is no live programming on the CW even though I'm paying for live TV on Hulu. Only way I see Xfinity is when it is made available as replay starting sometime Sunday after midnight. By the time it is available to watch I already know who won the race unless I completely avoid all media for more than 12 hours. What's the point of watching if I know who wins.
The replay the next day doesn't work either.
A two door Impala would be nice 😮 @@ravagingwolverine666
@@ravagingwolverine666 that's of course relying on Dodge still existing. Their parent company Stellantis just sold their proving grounds test track and looks to be about 1 inch away from bankruptcy. Those cars might not ever see the light of day on a showroom floor. Also, the new Charger will be an EV vehicle with an option for a turbo V6, no V8... not that the Camry has a V8, but Toyota isn't domestic, no one expected to get a V8 Camry...
Yeah I HATE these cars, as soon as the newness wore off and the flaws showed I quickly turned on them, and I was hyped for "next gen"
HH
Very much so, and I'm an HMS fan.
Sir you are correct.
I believe they’re manipulating them like the NFL is & getting the results closer in line to the Bookie’s betting odds… JMHO
Nascar is killing itself slowly
The 45 looked like it had 50 more horsepower going around Blaney on the last lap. It seems like NASCAR always wants Toyota to have a competitive advantage.
The high line was fast all night.. Blaney should have stayed top side
They don't want Mich Jordans team to win anything.
He's suing them in federal court.
Hate to say it ... that Riddick win looked staged as fuck. Blaney just gives the top ?? And then slows really early??
In the interview Blaney said it sucks that they had to give that one away. ...
Maybe this sounds crazy or maybe we are all just incredibly naive to reality.

HH. Larson is spot on in his comments about the car. That underbody is way too fragile for this car.
I'm glad they lost the IndyCar coverage, they treated NASCAR and IndyCar both like 💩
NBC could really care less for televising any motorsport activity.
For people's complaints about espn I think they did a very good job. The main problem was that they did not kiss nascars ass and do it all their way.

It's a new era when Kyle Busch's son wins more races than him this year.
I feel if nascar would go back to steel bodies the cars would absorb the impacts better.
Agreed, but crybabies would whine about cut down tires if they make contact.
I believe that all the “stealing”, from the very beginning, has finally caught up to the thieves - the “era” draws to a close, unwillingly: Rome will fall, for the caesar is only a man, not God.

All of this with Busch is getting a little bit too far to not be intentional. (HH)
HH. Larson's not wrong. These cars have a lot of issues still
I only watch highlights on youtube. Nascar doesn’t deserve 3 hours of my Sunday anymore.
Appreciate you taking time to watch highlights!
HH I don’t blame Larson because most the things u hear from drivers about that car is never good. I know I hate it. I can’t say I blame Kyle Busch either he’s been snake bit all season and some of last. That car is a joke it is definitely terrible in some cases and ok in others. As far as Munez goes u have to give him a little break he hasn’t been driving that long maybe a couple years in the big time. First u have to have a truck that is top ten able to start with.
Great comment covering multiple topics. Thanks!
HH.
There has to be a few things changed/deleted from this car asap! The "matchbox car under belly" has made these cars so stiff that drivers are feeling the aftermath from a "small wreck" where as they shouldn't. The low profile tires was a huge mistake considering the diffuser.
The undertray and diffuser have no place on a stock car!
HH Thank you for a great recap of the Homestead Miami race. It was a fantastic race with an amazing finish. I think we all got more excitement than ever could have ever been expected. We can only hope that this level of racing and excitement will continue until a Champion is Crowned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HH Reddick had an all-time final lap on Sunday!!!! And As a Rowdy fan, I don’t even care about what NASCAR does to the 8 team anymore (this season), I just hope he gets a win and extends his streak to 20 years!!
But then again it is nascar isn't it
It is very obvious that Kyle, Busch and his whole team have been targeted this year. Very very odd. NASCAR is worse now than they ever have been.🤮👎🏻HH
You may be right about muniz but based on what?
Good points.
HH definitely got a new sub I hope the 8 team gets better and they have a better year next year

Logano is a joke. He is in the top 4 and drive Miami like he doesn’t care
Never could stand the guy.
He does not have the speed. He got super lucky at Vegas. Did not win on speed.
@ Right I just cant believe the way Alex was nerfed to get another Ford in. I don’t know what is going down with the deep state of Nascar
He didn't need to do anything yesterday.
Thanks to NADCARs dumb points system he's already in the final 4.
Safety wise the car needs to crumple more. A "bulletproof cage" but the energy and inertia should be absorbed by the outer areas better. Driving a stiff tank at 150-200mph is just not safe.
SURE IS FUNNY HOW LARSON CAN BE INVOLVED IN WRECKS YET STILL DRIVE THROUGH THE FIELD LIKE IT'S NOTHING
Exactly that’s what the best do. That’s why he’s won 6 he swings for the fences which sometimes will bite back but it’s sure fun watching him.
LOL It's NBC. Which brings me to wondering why NASCAR even considers them to broadcast races.
The cup car is a joke!! NASCAR is ruining what was a great series to watch!! Watching a flat tire turn into a DNF because the car is designed to self-destruct. The rims tires, de-fuser all junk, junk, efin junk 😢.

Larson was upset by turbulent air between Dillon and Blaney, but that pass works in a Sprint Car. "This car is stupid." Looks great, but misses the mark in some very important ways. The wheel and tire size, the diffuser, even the one lug. Larson lost a wheel on pit road this year, coming in after a full run!!!
What the... This car IS stupid.
Gen 6 was so much better and raced good on the tracks that actually mattered.
@@PaperBanjo64 Well, they all matter. This car was a complete change from what they had and NASCAR rushed it into use with only paltry R&D. @x-man5056 yeah this car is 5x more expensive, races worse everywhere besides 1.5s, and has hurt and ended Kurt's career, it's caused more problems than fixed them.
