I don’t know if you know this but, in the books it is suggested that the two farm boys could have been his. As he frequently snuck off to the farmers house to ‘see’ the farmers wife when he was out. And the two farm boys looked very similar to him.
@izaac1312 I have read the books and i remember he was fond of about 7 or 8 women in Winterfell but I'm sure that there is a conversation between Theon, Robb and John near the start and they talk about the fears of birthing bastards. I like the idea but I don't think I buy it :)
seriously! he’s probably my favorite character in the series, he’s so deeply flawed but by the end of his arc you just wanna hug him and tell him that he is enough :,)
I feel like that is an "obvious" great moment. But the bit that gave me chills watching the reaction is the bit where she asks them will they fight for her as free men. For whatever reason, that question really invites me into the mind of the slave-warrior suddenly given freedom and the choice to fight for the person who intends to free all the people who have suffered like me. When one of the newly freed soldiers start slamming the butt of his spear on the floor by way of answer, it's *so* powerful. Whatever secret dreams of how that guy would wanna spend his life if he were free were overridden by the sheer power of Daenarys' offer. Awesome.
The motive for Margery with Sansa is doing what her grandmother asked. It gives the Tyrells the key to the North if Sansa marries Loras and they also stop Littlefinger from gaining more power.
Huge shout out to Hannah for spotting the game being played! How expertly Margery was playing Joffrey, playing to his ego, showing interest in his violent tendencies... And yes, it's a VERY dangerous game...
One of the best episodes of the whole show. Dany seriously levelling up, and huge moments for Jaime and Theon two of the most “grey” and complex characters in the story. All the feels you’re meant to have you are getting Hannah!
Fun fact: G.R.R.M. has said that since she was raised in Essos, being shuttled around the various free cities, she speaks Valyrian with a Tyroshi accent. The way it's spoken in "House of the Dragon" is supposed to be the true Valyrian accent.
Margaery is manipulating Joffrey and is a social climber. Although, she does have a good heart and doesn't try to hurt people. She can keep Joffrey on a leash better than cersei ever could. That's why cersei hates her so much. Love your reactions as always Hannah!! ❤
Actually it's conceivable that Locke's men might carry horse piss... In real-world medieval times, urine was often used for cleaning, bleaching, tanning animal hides etc. In fact the term "piss poor" originates from peasants families having to to all pee in a pot, and sell their urine to tanneries to survive. One would hope that the smell would have put Jaime off right away, but maybe in his wounded, battered and dehydrated condition he might not have noticed before swigging a bit... and maybe it was diluted. In any case, it sucks to be Jaime...
This really was one of the best episodes of the whole series. The ending with Dany is one of my favorite scenes. Hannah gushing about "Robin Hood" was hilarious, leading up to one of the great twists of the show.
The part about, "She's become a mother so she doesn't have time for -" I read an interesting article about the hormones that babies release, that whole "baby smell" people talk about. The hormones when smelled and processed make men slightly more sedate and calm, and they make women more aggressive and protective. Always thought that was interesting. So you aren't just right on a mental level but a physical one as well. She's in, "I'll kill anything that tries to hurt my kid." Mode. Varys is also easily my favorite character. All the others on that council to some variation were born in either major or minor nobility, wealth, and station with tutors their whole life. Varys knows real life. Poverty, destitution, and unlike them he had to scrape and claw his way to the top. Granted he had to scheme too but, nowhere near the vein that Baelish did. Baelish is pretty close in principle but, he grew up in the Vale or Riverlands I think? I want to say Vale. And his house used to own Harrenhal in the distant past. Probably a pretty easy life. Myr is no joke. So the only thing he really wants? To make things better for the people. He's probably one of the most altruistic in reality, he just keeps that fact a secret up until this episode when you start to understand him more. He presents in the beginning as just another schemer like Baelish and he is but - his schemes are in the end meant to improve things for everyone. And that's his goal. And that's why we like him. Oh, and also. "This guy is like Robin Hood in Game of Thrones." *All of us looking at each other nervously.*
Hannah is usually great at deducing plot. However, if you want to see her strike out, check out herb"Empire Strike Back" episode. She surprisingly misses all the marks on that one.
Jaime has definitely done awful things, but even those things are counterbalanced by his motivations; if Bran had told anyone what he saw, his sister/lover and children would likely die from Robert's anger
@Wicker_ At that point, the crime was committed. Jaime's children were his children, and no matter the social ill of their conception, it changes the nature of his rationale when his children are the price
@Wicker_pretty daft of you to completely ignore that he’s not preventing himself from being punished, but his children. You should try to balance out your mindless indignation with a splash of rationality.
@Wicker_ Nobody said it was right. It's obviously a bit dubious to shove a child from a window, but mitigating factors are a real thing. He has a duty to his children
@Wicker_ I mean, Jaime's children aren't stolen goods, they're people. You seem to be operating under the assumption that I think Jaime should go free. The entire point is that he's more complex than simply "child murderer" At the same time, saying that "when that child shouldn't even exist" is a very odd thing to say. Again, the social ill of their conception shouldn't play any role in the perceived value of a person
3:15 - how fast you forgot he attempted a murder of a CHILD, has incestual relationship with his sister, set up his dwarf little brother for psychological trauma etc. etc., JUST BECAUSE he is handsome? 😂😂
I hope your train ride went well, Hannah! This episode was such a banger and that final scene with Daenarys... ugh... I'm LIVING! Watching these reactions, it's like I'm reliving the show all over! And I'm so pumped for you that things are going so well with your boat! You're such a cutie pie, honestly. I'm so happy I found your channel!
"They've turned Demonic"....yep. The Night's Watch were mostly made up of murderers, rapists, psychopaths, etc to begin with. Just a few good men like Lord Commander Mormont, Half-Hand, Jon Snow, and even Frostfinger to keep them in line. Craster then pushed them past their breaking point and....mutiny. For Margery and Lady Olenna I think they truly does like Sansa and feel bad for what Joffery put her through and are trying to help her. However, as other commenters have said, the Tyrells are trying to secure power throughout the realm including The North. Which Sansa and Robb are the keys to doing.
I honestly don't remember if it was in the TV show. I think it was but somebody told Arya when she was thinking about heading north to the wall. They're not all like your brother Cuz ironically most of them are bad q Cuz they chose taking the black over being killed for their crimes. Most of them don't volunteer to go to prison I think the only ones who were decent up there you could probably count on your hands and it's not necessarily that they volunteered to be in prison. But they really felt like that was the only place they would be accepted. Like Jon, he's like well, I have an uncle up there and 'stepmom' hates him. Surprised she didn't poison him to death at some point... And then you got people like Samwell who end up up there because they were threatened by their families I imagine all the other likable guys up there who were like friends of John. I imagine they were up there for like minor youthful indiscretions
I seriously can’t wait to watch more of these reactions. GOT is such an interesting and compelling story, Hannah’s reactions are genuine and call back to the first time I watch the show. It’s great seeing another person who may never have watch it otherwise enjoy it thoroughly
Love your reactions, your humour, thoughts and insights-never thought that loosing a hand may get Jamie to sympathise with the boy he pushed from the tower.
The guy betraying Theon is easy to understand: He's a bad guy, and gets off on messing with people's minds. He gave Theon hope and then took it away from him in a devastating way. As for the Tyrells, they're plotters, but I never got the sense that they were evil. I don't think they would ever do anything to harm Sansa. Marrying Loras would probably be the best thing that could happen to her in those circumstances.

Loved your reaction Hannah! I was laughing waiting for you to find out what a “good” guy Ramsey was. This story just keeps getting better and better, especially with you reacting to it!!😊
It’s always a pleasure watching your GOT-reactions, Hannah! ❤️ I had such a great laugh when you referred Ramsay to Robin Hood 🥲 and then later teared up during the final last minutes with Daenerys. Thank you!!!
I've gotten way behind on watching these reactions, but I'm catching up now and one thing I wanted to point out was how much I love the many different ways they show women being strong on this show. Gilly, for instance, is very no-nonsense and all about protecting herself and her child. We see different kinds of strength with Cersei, Margaery, Lady Olenna, Arya, Catelyn, Daenerys, Lady Brienne, and others. Some are warriors, some use their wisdom and knowledge, some are survivors doing whatever it takes to keep on going, some use their sexuality, some use their magic, and some use their money. All are very different people, but each is strong in their own way, or becomes stronger through the trials they face. And some make others stronger too.
Game of Thrones has an amazing way of making you deeply feel for characters you spend a lot of time hating. The character development and writing in the first few seasons is *chef's kiss*
16:49 Cersei: Perhaps you should try stopping him (Joffrey) from doing what he likes. Tywin: I will. That part of their conversation just went over my head when i first watched this series. I didn't know Cersei kind of low-key challenged him.

9:38 my personal theory is that Podrick is the only man that ever visited those ladies that actually cares about what the women experience, not just what he experiences. It just makes sense to me, he's a sweet little bean, and he just seems like the type, he does aim to please in all other things.
Which is very plausible, as it is a shady situation, but it’s still more fun to think that Pod the Rod showed up with some unexpected natural skills, and went to town. 😉
this was such a huge 🔥 **W** 🔥 moment for Dany !!!! loved her from the start but this scene with her solidified it, sooo empowering. "a dragon is not a slave" also refers to herself, the Targaryens call themselves the blood of the dragon. btw, we got a hint that she can speak Valyrian in an earlier episode when Missandei said "Valar Morghulis" (all men must die) which is a high Valyrian saying, she replied "yes, all men must die, but we are not men"
I laughed way too hard when Hannah found out that Ramsey wasn't "Robin Hood"!! Hahaha
Same 😂😂😂😂 I cracked up at that
Spoiler his name doesn't come till episode 10
@@joshuasutton355 She is much farther on patreon though right? either way his first name is irrelevant.
He is in fact not Robin Hood, but closer to the evil Saxon rulers that Robin Hood freed people from
Drives me crazy that no one knows who he is at this point. Roose said who he sent to get Theon.
“He’s a Game of Thrones version of a hero.”
Now that didn’t age well, did it? 😂
Lol from Robin hood to nasty prick in 5 seconds
Well, depending on how one feels about Theon, I guess that’s still arguable. 😄
😂😂😂
@0okamino Fair but with the future things he still wasnt good lol
I did a real lol when she said that🤣
Theon never fails to bring up conflicting emotions - all in all a well written flawed character. Great reaction!

Such a good episode. I always get chills when Dany turns around and speaks Valaryian. Congratulations on 30K🎉🩷

Went to the comments to have someone confirm that it wasn’t horse piss, came out disgusted, but learned something new today! Thank you for this!
Considering his condition, Jaime might have just thought that smell was himself.
Oh damn. Thank you for this info, super interesting!!
yeah, urine to this day is used to make either felt or tweed, can't remember which.
Hannah you took my knees out when you did the bird call “caw caw” 😂😭🤣
I fucking spat my tequila out when she did that dragon impression!!!
I never thought Dracarys would be called Caw caw hahahaha

Congratz to 30k
The best stand alone episode of entire series
I’ve been waiting for you to get to this episode! 🔥
this man's being vey kind to him😅🤣😂
24:20 is a bad time to take a drink of tea
Watching as she discovers he's a bad guy and that "if you think this story has a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention" *giggles in Ramsay*
That’s a spoiler
this was such a huge 🔥 **W** 🔥 moment for Dany !!!! loved her from the start but this scene with her solidified it, sooo empowering.
"a dragon is not a slave" also refers to herself, the Targaryens call themselves the blood of the dragon.
btw, we got a hint that she can speak Valyrian in an earlier episode when Missandei said "Valar Morghulis" (all men must die) which is a high Valyrian saying, she replied "yes, all men must die, but we are not men"
By the way, Ramsay Bolton is probably tied with being the most hated villain in GOT next to Joffery.
