The nice thing about desserts you make for yourself, is you can freeze in slices to pull out at anytime when needing a treat for Josh and yourself. Yum! 😊

What I love most about your channel is it looks exactly like our own homemade cooking and not some glossy picture perfect meal. My daughter is getting married next year and I introduced you to her and my 2 daughter-in-laws. Finding yourself in charge of your own kitchen and been responsible for providing nutritious tasty meals is daunting. Cooking lessons in schools is bad here in the UK it didn't used to be. I have taught 6 different girls how to bake, cook meals from scrap. How to make jam, bread, chutney and homemade confectionary. I also taught all 4 of my sons to do the same. So to see a young lady like yourself doing what you do and enjoying it is a blessing and motivation so from all of us in my family in England. Thank you for just been yourself. I also love your mom
We used to have home economics. 1 semester of cooking and 1 for sewing. Those courses were eliminated long ago. I learned to cook by watching and helping my mom. She never did sewing. I taught myself when I was an adult. Have a great day, Debbie Lavigne Las Vegas.
@@robertlavigne6560 I loved Home Economics class back in the day. They should have it again but for a whole year with one quarter for cooking, one for sewing, one for finances and one for making things (I.e. a “shop” class like hammering, nailing etc).
I took a Wilton cake decorating class a LONG time ago. The biggest tip we had (besides putting strips of waxed paper under the cake, similar to what you did with parchment) was to freeze our cakes prior to frosting. Not only will your cakes be more moist by freezing them, you can easily brush away any crumbs to keep them from getting spread around the cake with your frosting. The class lasted 6 weeks. My co-workers always loved whatever fancy cake I left in the lunch room the next day.
My son, Lincoln, and I have been watching your videos his entire life. He turns 5 in January and the only reason I can feed my family is because of you. We have canned our own jelly together and he has learned to add different spices to his eggs or when we cook dinner. He likes salt, pepper and garlic powder the most right now.
Hi Becky. For your roasted carrots, just add about three tbsp of grated Parmesan to your spices and coat the entire spice mixture and the Parmesan at the same time with the oil. Then lay out the carrots like you did with the carrots touching as little as possible. Omg. To die for. I use the same recipe using all root veg for variety. OMG IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!
That mixture works on zucchini, too. So yummy. My mom started making zucchini that way way back in the 1980s. It's the only way she could get us kids to eat zucchini, lol 😂😊.
You, Becky, are such a pleasantly nice young lady and I really enjoy watching your videos! This is a wonderful dinner and dessert for you and your love.❤
You might consider a few beds of cover crops for the chickens. Also wanted to mention that I unintentionally had German chamomile as a ground cover in my yard for a few years which was both beautiful and useful. Then I got chickens and they ate it all every year til it stopped coming up. They really enjoyed it. I would never put it in one of your beds, but maybe fill-in around your berry bushes. Mine grew with blackberries.
I say it a lot but I have to say it again… you make me feel so lazyyy lol you’re so so productive it’s so inspiring! I can’t imagine how tired you and your feet must be. Thank you for your dedication Becky!
Becky I love your videos!!! I’m watching you put the cake together and frost it thinking to myself that looks like a giant Oreo! It looks delicious as always
I grew up in a rural southern town and we did not have many "convenience" items. However, we always had Campbell's soups. One of the most satisfying dishes my mom ever made was chicken breast wrapped in bacon and baked in a casserole dish with cream of mushroom soup and milk. I believe it was called Chicken Devine. The bacon and chicken were so flavorful. This was one of the first meals I made on my own, usually served with rice. I would love to try this with healthier ingredients, like homemade cream of mushroom soup, and maybe even stuff the chicken as you did. Cooking the chicken in the liquid made it so tender. It was delicious! Thank you for this reminder with your similar chicken dish. I always love your videos.
How can I get the recipes for your dinner? My husband and I will be alone this Thanksgiving and your dinner and dessert looked gorgeous. I thought I would make that for our Thanksgiving this year. Thank you!

I did this for my own Turkey Day, sinceit's just me - not a lot of people to cook for! I did turkey tenderloins in the crockpot with stuffing, kind of casserole style. There are tons of recipes for that sort of thing online. It was perfect - plenty of leftovers to enjoy without being overwhelmed by birdzilla!
That looks absolutely amazing! I have to try both the chicken as well as the cake! My daughter in law, I am positive she will love that cake! I appreciate you so very much. You come up with some wonderful eats!!!!
I have made something similar to this cake and it was amazing! It was a red velvet cheesecake cake. It had an oreo crust that went up the entire side of the cheesecake pan with a plain cheesecake base. Then you made a single layer redvelevet cake. Onto of the cheesecake layer you put ginach then lay down the red velvet layer. For decoration made a design with white chocolate and milk chocolate drizzled over the top and dollops of piped whipped topping and shaved chocolate. So delicious. Found it on pinterest
You should make kale chips in the dehydrator! Soak 1 cup cashews overnight, then drain and reserve the liquid. Blend with one red bell pepper, 1/3 cup nutritional yeast, 2 T each olive oil and lemon juice, 1 teaspoon each garlic powder and onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes and salt. Add some of the soaking liquid if necessary to make a thick sauce. Massage this mixture into one head of kale, torn up. Dehydrate in a single layer for about 14 hours. You can substitute sunflower seeds for cashews and make a pizza variation with fennel, oregano and sundried tomatoes or a honey mustard!
Wow what a gorgeous meal Just a thought when u use an offset spatula to frost turn the spatula around that way the frosting goes on better and the spatula has more room and won’t hit the side. Still looks beautiful it just makes it easier to frost a cake. That meal is making me drool!! 💗
Your cake looks fabulous! I'm going try your stuffed "turkey" with bacon, it looks so yummy! I'm not a fan of cooked carrots, but I may have to try your recipe and see if I can eat them cooked that way - I'm sure my grandsons will love them!

❤Hi Becky, First off, you’re garden and you’re property is a dream! Just beautiful! You are now hands down my favorite channel! Thank you for all you do!
I have worked in a bake shop for years where our 12 layer cakes where done this type of frosting mostly the same ingredients it was made in huge batches of course and set aside. We use to heat it just a little where it was poured over the 12 layer which also had the same frosting in each lawyer That way it would run down the sides which made it really easy to spread . It always dried to a really nice shiny firm coat.
If you ever get a chance to take a cake decorating class, it will help you(my Mom did when I was in high school), then years later I did before my son's first birthday. It helps to feel more one with the spatula(also a longer one is beneficial too), and helps lighten ones touch when frosting.😊

And YOU are the best thing in your kitchen! Tell me about your "paper" towels that are cloth, washable. Reusable. I need. So glad I stumbled onto you channel.
Hi Becky! I Love your videos & your recipes! You have beautiful energy. That cake looks absolutely delicious!! My Dad’s Birthday is next week on the 13 ~ perfect timing Becky!! He doesn’t like anything too sweet. If you need to defrost chicken in a hurry, did you know you could always unwrap the frozen chicken breasts & place the meat into a large gallon size ziplock bag & seal. Place the zlock bag in a large pot of cold water, changing some of the water 2 or 3 times (while you are waiting & working on something else) and turning the bag over. Depending on your freezer, your chicken will be defrosted in about an hour. I’ve defrosted chicken many times like this, when I wanted it defrosted rapidly.
I am beyond excited by the desert you did here - Publix where I buy groceries used to have a bar cake exactly like this that they discontinued….I’ve been looking for a similar recipe for several years. Thank you so much & I enjoy your content so much!!

Hey Becky, if you ever have leftover mashed potatoes, try making Boxty for breakfast! It’s an Irish potato pancake. It’s like a cross between a Latka and hash browns. It’s amazing and very easy if you have leftover mash! Hope you try it!
Hi Becky, absolutely love your videos. When I have a lot of potatoes I will do up some freezer preservation projects and have had a lot of luck. I've made 'freezer friendly roasties' (par boiled potatoes flash frozen for later roasting in fat), parmesan potatoes (boil potatoes until just soft, shake them so the starch releases, add melted butter, parmesan and seasonings then flash freeze. They roast up great from frozen in 30 minutes. And twice baked stuffed potatoes (I like bacon cheddar and roasted shallot gruyere). Maybe these can help stretch your potatoes!
I tried those parmesan carrots, and they were amazing! A typical finnish Christmas dinner has a carrot casserole type of dish, and instead of that i made these carrots, a huge success! Thank you for your videos Becky 😊 🇫🇮
Becky what a lovely meal! Thank you for sharing. Last year I found a recipe for red velvet cake/cheesecake which was amazing. It was like your chocolate one except with red velvet cake and a cream cheese frosting. I'll have to try this one now! I'm sure Baby Acre enjoyed it, too. 😀 Printing the recipes now!

Oh Becky thank you so much for bringing so much sunshine to my life. I am in Aaaw of your talents Your baking really inspires me. We can do this 😊
Thank you so much!
I love your channel. You are what a REAL content creator looks like. It is interesting, informative, fun, and very helpful. Your personality is beautiful. Love everything about your channel. Some of these so-called content creators need to tune in and take notes. ❤
This is an excellent idea Becky, I love all of your videos but 1 for a smaller family like mine is awesome for a change!
Excited to try this dessert! Love your videos Becky!🎉🎉🎉
Hope you enjoy!
Turnip and Mustard Greens. Cover crops in the South.
And I have always wanted to sow red clover in a bed or two. Or a field! Think about it.
Love your kitchen. And YOU are the best thing in your kitchen!
Tell me about your "paper" towels that are cloth, washable. Reusable. I need.
So glad I stumbled onto you channel.
We literally had spinach stuffed chicken last night. We used garlic cloves and onion powder but other than that it was made the same way! 😀
Wow, everything looks fabulous! Thank you for doing what you do, and for sharing!😊
Yum! Everything looks so delish! Thanks Becky xxx
I am beyond excited by the desert you did here - Publix where I buy groceries used to have a bar cake exactly like this that they discontinued….I’ve been looking for a similar recipe for several years. Thank you so much & I enjoy your content so much!!
A couple of things not food related, I love your red nails| Also love when talk about your family. 😊 I like watching your face when you try the food, it’s easy to tell when you like what you taste. Thank you for showing/telling us about your failures and mistakes, it’s nice to know everything isn’t perfect..
The cake look so beautiful and delicious Becky, you are the best. Thanks for sharing ❤
OmG that meal looked so good! That desert was over the top!!! I didn't think you'd have enough frosting (fudge), but it was totally enough. Great video ❤
Hi Becky, everything looks delicious. When you were putting the cake together it reminded me of a hostess snack cake, giant size though. Thanks for sharing
Cake looks delicious.😊
I love the way you have the recipes out in n front. So well organize. Thank you.
Looks amazing as always Becky!
🎉🎉❤❤have you thought about getting a Thermomix? Changed my life!! Ask me any question! 🎉🎉❤❤ Will post soon .
Hi Becky. I love the way your eyes light up when something tastes good ❤
I tried those parmesan carrots, and they were amazing! A typical finnish Christmas dinner has a carrot casserole type of dish, and instead of that i made these carrots, a huge success! Thank you for your videos Becky 😊 🇫🇮
Becky I love how you add your own touches to everything you make. I cook with my heart as well.
That chocolate fudge frosting looks like something that would go great over ice-cream too.
Oh everything looks so good. When I make mashed potatoes and have extra I take ice cream scoop and scoop them on parchment paper and freeze them for individual servings.
I just wanted to run to your house and invite myself to that delicious diner. It looked amazing!
Always a pleasure to watch your excellent videos. Thanks for sharing. ❤
I was so surprised to see another video again today! I hope that means you are going to take some time off for yourself around soon!
Looks delicious 🤩
I think you will be a fan of home grown spinach. Spinach and eggs are magic together. That desert looks awesome! 😍 actually everything looks delicious. Your family is so lucky to have you cooking for them!
Spinach would be amazing, but you might have to plant it in the fall because it bolts in warm temps.
Oh my it all looks so yummy! Beautiful little family dinner to. 💕
