Lovely to see you ladies in the kitchen together! A helpful tip for production- you can put the pot of water for the potatoes in the sink. Cut on the cutting board and push them into the pot in the sink. Less putting down the knife and picking up the potatoes. You can move more efficiently when you cut down on steps and picking up and putting down your knife or peeler. Peel all the potatoes at once and put in water so they don’t brown, then cut them and scoop into the pot in the sink. You can also put the pot on a sheet pan on top of a garbage pan to scoop the cut potatoes into if you need the sink for other things. I’m a former banquet chef for a large hotel. I bake edibles for sick children and seniors and I just made some orange cranberry muffins last week for my clients with a nice warm cream cheese drizzle and they were a hit! It was my first time making them ever, let alone with cannabutter. But the fresh orange zest and cranberries really masked the taste of the medicine and they were a hit with everyone.
The best part about these holiday videos is the everlasting memories your family will have decades from now. I wish I had videos of my mom and I cooking in the kitchen for Christmas. ❤

Saying prayers for Grandma and each of you. I am my mom's full-time caregiver. She has COPD, mild dementia and some other health issues as well. We purchased a portable concentrator through Inogen and it makes going out easier. I carry the charger with us and have it plugged in when in the car. Having a wheelchair or rolator walker for her to sit in if she gets winded or tired help with outings too. All life's best is wished for your family. Thank you for letting us be a part of it! If you haven't tried it yet the Dawn foaming spray is fantastic for stuck on yuck on the stove. I have used it on my stainless steel garbage can that had marks on it that just wouldn't come off. I was cleaning my garden tools for winter. I was going to spray them with WD40 and use a scrub daddy sponge, instead i used the Dawn spray and all the residue came right off with very minimal scrubbing! Love watching you three ladies cook together! That was something i never experienced growing up and it's so neat to see you three share ideas, laughter and sharing the work load. I love the rhythm of the three of you working together and around each other. I was the only girl in a family of six, and my mom and I worked with each other from the time I was small. As each sister in law came along they fit seamlessly into the mix. Now my daughter granddaughter and I have a similar rhythm.

I have been using the Swedish dish cloths for many years. I wash my dish towels and Swedish dish clothes separately from other towels and honestly I still have some from IKEA that I have used for years though they are now very worn! When you decide their time is up you can cut them into small pieces and compost them! One side is for washing normally and the other ( usually squares or circles on that side) is for scrubbing more stubborn things! We only use them and I give them to everyone for shower gifts and stocking stuffers etc! Big fans here!!
tip: the smoother the orange skin, the thinner it will be. pebbly oranges have thicker skin and therefore less fruit. for recipes needing orange zest and orange juice, cut both ends off the orange, cut into quarters and cut finely in a food processor.

I know it’s late now but for future use you could make the prime rib into a crown rib roast it not only is a beautiful presentation but on a practical note would fit beautifully in the roasting pan. It is very simple to do, French the bones, stand the roast up with bones facing up, bring the two ends together and use butchers twine to hold the crown shape while the prime rib roasts. Thank you for all you do.
Sounds great, but wouldn't work for the roast they bought as they got a 16.5pound boneless roast. They worked out it's enough for half a pound per person.

I made the cheesy potatoes for dinner. I didn’t want to use corn flakes, not enough potato chips left,so I used French’s crispy fried onions for something crunchy on top. They were excellent.

Saying prayers for Grandma and each of you. I am my mom's full-time caregiver. She has COPD, mild dementia and some other health issues as well. We purchased a portable concentrator through Inogen and it makes going out easier. I carry the charger with us and have it plugged in when in the car. Having a wheelchair or rolator walker for her to sit in if she gets winded or tired help with outings too. All life's best is wished for your family. Thank you for letting us be a part of it! If you haven't tried it yet the Dawn foaming spray is fantastic for stuck on yuck on the stove. I have used it on my stainless steel garbage can that had marks on it that just wouldn't come off. I was cleaning my garden tools for winter. I was going to spray them with WD40 and use a scrub daddy sponge, instead i used the Dawn spray and all the residue came right off with very minimal scrubbing! Love watching you three ladies cook together! That was something i never experienced growing up and it's so neat to see you three share ideas, laughter and sharing the work load. I love the rhythm of the three of you working together and around each other. I was the only girl in a family of six, and my mom and I worked with each other from the time I was small. As each sister in law came along they fit seamlessly into the mix. Now my daughter granddaughter and I have a similar rhythm.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah everyone! We celebrate both in my home. I'm Baptist and my husband is Jewish!!
I have been using the Swedish dish cloths for many years. I wash my dish towels and Swedish dish clothes separately from other towels and honestly I still have some from IKEA that I have used for years though they are now very worn! When you decide their time is up you can cut them into small pieces and compost them! One side is for washing normally and the other ( usually squares or circles on that side) is for scrubbing more stubborn things! We only use them and I give them to everyone for shower gifts and stocking stuffers etc! Big fans here!!
tip: the smoother the orange skin, the thinner it will be. pebbly oranges have thicker skin and therefore less fruit. for recipes needing orange zest and orange juice, cut both ends off the orange, cut into quarters and cut finely in a food processor.

Merry Christmas Becky and family! I know it’s late now but for future use you could make the prime rib into a crown rib roast it not only is a beautiful presentation but on a practical note would fit beautifully in the roasting pan. It is very simple to do, French the bones, stand the roast up with bones facing up, bring the two ends together and use butchers twine to hold the crown shape while the prime rib roasts. Thank you for all you do.
You have described it so well - bones on inside of circle I have seen novices try it the other way 😂
Sounds great, but wouldn't work for the roast they bought as they got a 16.5pound boneless roast. They worked out it's enough for half a pound per person.

I made the cheesy potatoes for dinner. I didn’t want to use corn flakes, not enough potato chips left,so I used French’s crispy fried onions for something crunchy on top. They were excellent.
