Apple cider vinaigrette:
1/3 cup olive oil
3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
2 tbsp maple syrup
Sea salt and pepper

I think it says a lot about how people were watching their grocery money over the holidays. This is the first year I’ve seen so many holiday carryover items in stores
I think it depends on location and state you’re in, bc in my area every single holiday treats are sold out except for the candy cane tea😊

Indeed…usually I only see a couple holiday items leftover (which they sometimes will discount but this is rare) but was surprised to see so many still lingering around this year 😮
@@traderjoesgeek can I ask what state you are in? Those dark chocolate rondos sold out quickly here at my store in Maryland. I wish they were available all year.

I think the new Bourbon Vanilla bean paste would be great in a flan, creme brulee or pound cake!
So much yes to all of this 🙌🏻 🍮 🍰 also great in French toast and some have even put it into their morning coffee ☕️
I hear ya on clearing out the freezer and groceries first.

I want to urge everyone here to go try the okra snacks as I’m terrified that they will discontinue them. 😂 They are very low sodium, low in calories and carbs, high in fiber, and pretty high in protein. I know that doesn’t sound too enticing but they are actually really good and crunchy. When I see another person in line with them, we always bond over how much we love them. For me they are the perfect substitute for chips with a dip like hummus. Word of caution, however- - they sort of shatter when you bite into them, so if you don’t want crumbs all over your shirt, hold a hand underneath.
I didn’t like them at all at first, the texture was so weird. I tried it out of snacking desperation and then I realized I couldn’t stop and ate the whole bag.
That’s how I felt about the dried broccoli 🥦 crowns that came out 2 years ago. At first I was whatevers but then I found myself eating the entire bag 😋 might have to revisit the okra snacks now❣️
I got the Baingan bharta roasted eggplant curry - it was very spicy but no curry flavor and mushy, non big egg plant chucks. Not bad, but will not repurchse. The Green Tea candle is soo nice. Very clean smell

Good morning! I buy the veggie flaxseed chips all the time & love them. I also have been purchasing the guacasalsa weekly. In my opinion it’s very mild & has a nice fresh taste. Love to use it as a dip for fresh veggies or to dip quesadillas in. The consistency is thin enough to add some fresh lemon juice & use as a dressing for salad if I don’t feel like making my own. I don’t do well with spicy, so this is perfect for me. 😊 Yay! Glad you bought the Meyer lemons to try. They’re so sweet & juicy. I think you’ll enjoy them.
Salad dressing recipes to try. I make it in a small glass jar & store it
I never measure, just eyeball. I add either vinegar or fresh citrus juices.
*Extra virgin olive oil- always the base. Then add whatever acidic ingredient you feel like & choose from a list of ingredients that pair well with your salad. You can add more or less depending on your preference.
Red wine vinegar OR fresh squeezed lemon, lime, or orange juice. I add more juice than olive oil. I have also used pomegranate juice (they sell it at my store in the fresh fruit section) for fall salads. Then choose any add ins you’d like.
Minced fresh garlic
Minced fresh shallots
Salt & pepper
Freshly grated pecorino Romano cheese
Grainy mustard
Honey
Once you have your oil & vinegar base, you can add anything. I taste as I go along to check the flavor level. Shake really well & enjoy❣️❣️

The guacasalsa is very refreshing and I agree I’d use it more as a sauce over tacos 🌮 or burritos 🌯 than as a salsa for chips since it’s so thin. What a great idea to use it as a salad dressing also 👏🏻 hope you have a wonderful week as well 💕

Interesting fact: A new TJs has just opened by my house in a big Shopping Center. It's between a BoneFish and Ross and really bad parking. I was talking to one of the managers as to why they didn't open in a bigger spot with more parking. Her response was Trader Joes' carries 8,000 products compared to say a Publix or other larger super market that shelves 22,000 products so they don't need the bigger stores, which also now makes sense why they do the seasonal items and discontinue as they just don't have shelf space.
Thanks for sharing❣️A side rant: Trader Joe’s stores are notorious for having bad parking lots. I even got into a car accident in one while I was parked 🤦♀️ someone hit my car while trying to get into their parking spot 😩
Every TJ I’ve ever been to has horrible parking.

If you are ever in Corona, California...the TJ'S at dos lagos is the biggest store I've seen plus parking for acres❤❤❤

I have been searching for years now for their mushroom turnover frozen appetizers. Any news on those?
I’ve been looking for my favorite kale gnocchi for over a year or so and finally confirmed with a crew member this week that it has been discontinued 😭 so my guess for the mushroom turnover appetizer you have been looking for is probably discontinued as well 😢
