What am I missing? You can't just reroll one charge dice anymore, you have to reroll the entire roll don't you? Also, saw at least one instance of a unit falling back and then shooting.
The Orkz have a rule called "Ere' We go" which allows them to reroll one or both of the dice for each charge roll. As for falling back and shooting, there is a lot of abilities that allow this in the armies of 40k.
@@lukapavicevic335 Good to know about the charge rerolls. As for falling back and shooting abilities, not for Necrons. That would require a Royal Warden unit which there was not.
@@lukapavicevic335 Actually, I was building a list for a crusade campaign of necrons and belated realized that since it's a character, Hexmarks might actually have a place in that scenario, where they can get buffs and actually show some teeth. Alas, no room for one in my crusade force though, and he doesn't fit the narrative. Weirdly enough, that same approach might make rezzing wraiths and spyders more viable as well, since one of their battle talents is the ability to turn 1 die roll from RPs in a 6. Something of a clutch, if you count how many times you've been one off from rezzing that Canoptek Wraith.
Honestly, the narrative was all that kept me watching for as long as I did. I like some of Steve's picks but I know that - this is speaking strictly for my personal enjoy and not a reflection on the content, Steve, or MWG at all! - if Steve is playing Orcs or Beast of Chaos I will not enjoy the batrep. @@Grr33nie Sure, but I am not in this video so I'm 100% sure I didn't make any coherency mistakes related to this video
@@mwgjosh5161 Ahaha that explains it then :P
Love your stuff guys!
Steve forgot the Rockits from the Morkanaut
Glocktopus shall stay
That was some horrible dices for necrons :-D
Would you guys accept a Grot Tank army? 24 Grot Tanks 3 Mega Tanks? It would be 3d printed and from Gearguts Mekshop STL's
THANK YOU FOR THE TACO CAT DIIIIIIIICE!!!!!!
What size table/play area is recommended for 40k in 9th edition?
WE NEED JOSH'S CUSTODES!!!!!!
Nice battlereport! Where do the big trees come from ?
Used the Arrow of Infinity today and 1 shot an Ultramarine captain. It felt really good...
Ouch...
I dont think you can choose NOT to use the Wrecking Ball. You have no other CC weapons to choose
No need to keep unit coherency on the grots daisy chaining along in the back?
Ouch. That was rough to watch. I'd be so upset at everything if rolls went like that in my game.
I literally wanted to cry when you used your flat 6 damage relic tachyon arrow against a model with a 4 up invuln that you could only do one more damage to in the that phase. In an ork list full of vehicles no less. Sometimes I wonder about you guys
yeah these guys do some questionable stuff. just like taking the -1 to infantry against a vehicle list
@@es83stevenson88 i understand they build the lists before they see the other, but in this case he has already seen the vehicles and knows he has a flat 6 weapon why waste it for a 50% chance at 1 damage when there are much better targets
@@Ankhtowe its still a 50% chance to throw away a flat 6 damage relic, and a 50% chance to do 1 wound. The flip of a coin. Thats a big waste in my book. Especially against such a mech heavy list.
@@Ankhtowe he still had heavy destroyers to use and he wasted those too
Hah! Agreed! At this point, I was on tilt and just went with the Tachyon Arrow into Ghaz regardless of any other targets. I knew it was a bad idea while doing it, but I was more concerned with killing Ghaz, even though it made no tactical sense!
What was Steve´s loadout On the Morkanaut? He said shiny gubbinz, but which one????
@@GreenLightForMayhem thanks mate
Enjoyed the fight! Good stuff!
All hail The Glocktopus
"2000pts of batman orks"
So good to see orks I watched twice.
Should have played imothek just for the lolz ^^
Did I miss the hexmark overwatch?
Out of curiosity, since you're accepting people's background lore ideas for Necron dynasties, how should we best contact you if we have a cool dynasty lore we'd like you to try?
Luka@miniwargaming.com
Steve you are off your game. Forgot about morkanaut rokits, several rerolls missed.
I don’t think you get an Invulnerable save with the Hyperphase Blade
you do, you need a relic to deny the invuln
@@victordesena9763 There is no such relic. That stuff is only for c'tans with stratagem and nighbringer has it build in in other profile of his weapon.
Relic you're thinking prevents use of rules that ignore wounds.
@@MrLegendarySaiyan ah that your right. Outside of tbe Nightbringer I think only the Chronomancer has ways to get past an Invuln
The Heavy Destroyers remind me of Dawn of War Dark Crusade necrons
Wobbly-cam was a bit difficult to cope with here tbh.
Isn’t the grot daisy chain at the back not legal in 9th?
look at the triangles at the end, and remember the guy in the middle of a chain by default is bodering 2 minis so its all good
@@HankGlamorous amazed luka didn't break the squad with a throwaway shot in the first turn then.
I legitimately love seeing Steve play his Orks but please... Keep the camera steady, it got me really nauseated
ork-b-quik OP
Da boyz gotta smash em skinny metal boyz
What am I missing? You can't just reroll one charge dice anymore, you have to reroll the entire roll don't you? Also, saw at least one instance of a unit falling back and then shooting.
The Orkz have a rule called "Ere' We go" which allows them to reroll one or both of the dice for each charge roll. As for falling back and shooting, there is a lot of abilities that allow this in the armies of 40k.
@@lukapavicevic335 Good to know about the charge rerolls. As for falling back and shooting abilities, not for Necrons. That would require a Royal Warden unit which there was not.
@@bcarraway1 The Protocol of the Conquering Tyrant may have been active, which allows units to Fall back and Shoot at -1 to hit.
It would be cool to see some rare titanic unit, like the Seraptek heavy construct
Still no silent king?
Does anyone else basically have the primary and secondary objective memorized? Because I find myself saying it almost word for word everytime now ;)
OH My... no coffee for Steve on filming days: Cant watch! Too shakey. Just listening to batrep.
Yeah I'm sorry I had to stop watching due to the shakiness :(
Not related but Luka is looking good
How did he get punked so early by orks man
What about vehucles I'd like to see a Szarekhan army with a Szarekh and with a lot of old machines of wsr
This was just brutal XD
Can you take kustom jobs three times?
As many times as you want.
I need Luka's shirt for my son. Anyone know where I can find it?
Anyone else think Luka lost some weight?
Luka lost weight? :D
Ohno my 2 factions
He brought a Hexmark.
Why in the Triarchy did he bring a freaking hexmark?!
I guess he likes the model?
It's new! It's silly! I play so often, I just like to try everything out. Even though we all know how bad it is! hah
This made me sad
i'm partial to Yosemite BLAM.
orcs are even more metalier than necrons XD
that poor nemesor tho
Honestly, the narrative was all that kept me watching for as long as I did. I like some of Steve's picks but I know that - this is speaking strictly for my personal enjoy and not a reflection on the content, Steve, or MWG at all! - if Steve is playing Orcs or Beast of Chaos I will not enjoy the batrep. I don't like the luck or the powergaming.
Dakka Dakkka Dakka
Hello
Hi
Never "waste" opportunitys for priotargets.. U should have went all in until you got the last wound'
steves ability to roll should be considered cheating. btw love u steve but i would never play you lmao
just kidding id love to play you :P
Good fun batrep but painful to watch. Luka buddy you made a noob blunder in your first turn. Narrative or not , don't split fire on something with a 4+ invul save. WTH dude!!!! Gaz/ whatever his name was.
Что тут происходит, лол?
Ork introduction 0:26-1:18 - 52 seconds
Necron introduction 1:19 -9:02 - 7min:53seconds
can someone please get Luka to start being more concise with his introductions?? this is getting excessive...
Luka please for the love of god at least run a nightbringer or something.... Regular destroyers are terrible and soooo overcosted. I get that your running user suggestions but its painful to watch. Also the Hexmark is about as bad as the Reanimator.
That was what I thought too. Lokhust Destroyers are so bad. Heavy also and the Hex is the worst.
@@BastiT87 he seriously had 540 points tied up in those two units.. Like seriously such a waste. He might has well been playing 1500 points against Steve's 2k
I've already run the Nightbringer in a few games, it has performed incredibly well(no surprises there!). I gotta try out different things, even though we know they're not great. It's more about the narrative than the performance in most(not all!) of the games I end up playing. I can assure you there will be many more Nightbringer games, it's too fun to not use :P
@@lukapavicevic335 hey man. Yeah I forgot you had ran him in a earlier batrep so sorry about that I was just thinking he would have been amazing to show against not-ghaz. That was just a frustrating game because Skorpekhs and lokhusts were just paperweights. I'm hoping you can show proper warrior blobs backed up by technos and ghost arks at some point.
@@C0LL0SSUS Oh Ghaz wouldn't have stood a chance against the Nightbringer :P
That wouldn't have been too much fun for Steve though, and we all know the outcome of that fight anyways!
Warrior blobs will DEFInitely be shown off, I've already done one game with them! I just don't want to exhaust it too quickly, ya know?
First, also, you guys rock
Wow... Hexmark is totally worth its points... Killed 5 or 6 grots. What a peice of garbage gw
clearly you don't know how to play necrons any more
TBF, GW doesn't seem to know how to play them either.
Look what they did to the Reanimator ffs!
@@johnj.spurgin7037 true that
Ouch! I was trying out a more questionable Necron army list in this game based around a user's narrative, it's more about telling a story with this game. Though winning is always the end goal, of course, it's just harder to get there with certain builds.
@@lukapavicevic335 don't listen to the hate. That was a great report
