Hoping Millapalooza is a roaring success-next year’s will be my reward for the last couple of years of all work and no play. Already making plans with an east coast knitting buddy!
We also have a ton of gravel roads in Minnesota and I do a lot of gravel cycling…so when a car passes I get a face full of dust! It’s been so dry here too. I wish I could visit you this weekend! One year, I hope! Good luck and have fun.
peg & amanda, another great episode of the millcast. i love the milo & milly sweaters on thoses little hangers, such a great idea. it will be fun to see what hanger ideas you come up with for your mill. i thought it was native drumming in the background until you mentioned the work being done, hehe hUgz from Ohio, Lee
I just gotta tell you both… I love your energy, and authenticity! I’m looking forward to meeting you at Rhinebeck, it will be my first time there! (Home is in Ontario, Canada)
I'm finishing up my Hunting season hat to wear it at Millpalooza! Re: stick season, maybe a Stick Season KAL needs to happen knitting the Rebecca Clow Stick Season pattern? Looking forward to the wooly weekend ahead.
Oh no, I was waiting on an announcement about the teal Farm Fresh yarn. Hope it will be available soon. Hope the Millapalooza is a great success as well as the Vermont Sheep and Wool Festival. ALL THE BEST.
I grew up in eastern Washington where they made the plutonium for the bombs. My dad worked with the reactors and got radiation at times. I also have friends that were sent to camps out here because they were Japanese. A sad time in our history we dont recognize..
Talk about obsessed……I’m knitting up a hat in your fabulous brat yarn….so good.

Dont buy an all electric car. Expense of charging. A hybrid is more economical.
