The Great Lakes Fiber Festival is in Wooster, Ohio. The biggest around here with 4 barns of vendors and then classes and the kids bring their animals for judging, etc. It is always Saturday and Sunday on Memorial weekend. I know the vendors like it, because they have Monday to drive home and not miss their regular work. You might want to check it out. It use to be hard to be a new vendor there, but covid shut it down and the next year was small, but it was back to close to full strength this year. Love your show and your sweet repartee.
Storage ideas: 1. Get a folding room divider and shape it into a tall square closet. Use over-the-door hooks to hang coats and bags on the inside. Just fold one side open to get in. You could put a set of skinny shelves inside. 2. Put a curtain over the lowest shelf on your rolling yarn rack and put extra bags of wool in behind there. I love your podcast and everything you talk about. It is a lovely insight it who you are and what goes on at a yarn mill. I am always inspired by the patterns you are wearing/knitting and your description of various yarns. ❤❤❤
Loved this episode and throughly enjoyed meeting Peggy at the festival. I loved watching you scoop the last of that yarn for a sweater and I’m going to take your suggestion of making a hat with my one skein. Good energy ladies…can’t wait for the next one.
You're always my first stop when I get to The Fiber Festival of New England. I bought three skeins of Stick Season. Peggy asked me what I was going to make with it. I said that I had no clue, I just wanted it.
I had no plans of going to the fiber festival this year for a few personal reasons but there I was in bed on Saturday evening scrolling through TikTok when y/all came across my fyp. I thought I had to go if only to see these yarns in person so off I went Sunday morning. I'm glad I did because that's how I learned about the podcast and I've been binge watching it since.
I just started watching your millcast and I hope to see you in Maryland in May. Along with having beautiful yarn I have to comment …..you both are so beautiful and I really enjoy watching your channel!
I had a great time Sunday seeing you at the festival. Peg was busy. I had help buying my yarn for the Pressed Flowers pullover. I chose Vermont Vice! A Saturday open house sounds marvelous. It is a 3 hour drive for me so I may have to partake in a long weekend!
Seeing you, Peggy, and Liz at the Fiber Festival was so lovely. Your yarn is fantastic! I say make a sweater for yourself out of that beautiful yarn. I got some to make a sweater for my mom and me. Happy knitting 💚🧶💚
Last weekend I wa at a Chesapeake Fibershed event hosted at Shepherd's Hey farm; Lee Langstaff had some of her Corriedale cross yarn out, including some spun by ... Junction Fiber Mill! It looksd great and she was very happy with it. Just thought I would report... It was so great to see wool spun by you down my way (I'm in Maryland).
BAH RILLIANT Peggy! Brilliant! Great to see you ladies, as always! My Tuesday is perfect when I start it with y’all. ☺️ xx from the crochet nut in Ohio 🧡🧡
Oh, Wayne and Randy are such flirts! What lovely knitwear made from your yarn! Love the stripe sweater with the lobsters and of course the little pumpkins were so cute. Glad y'all had such a good show!
Congrats on the end of Fiber Festival season! Great seeing you so many places and look forward to Russells in the new year. And intrigued by a Friday the 13th Open House, never get to your open house as our Library Knitting Group meets the first friday of the month.
Just saw Kamala won Vermont. I’ve been binge watching your earlier episodes this week as a way to destress from election anxiety so was really happy to see a new episode this evening. Hello from Colorado!
Can you wonderful guys come to Unravelled festival in UK 🇬🇧 ha ha 🤣. You grown and grown great to see 🎉. I have knitted the Shift it looks great but in your fibre would be 👌
Glad you have made your festival packing easier. I suggest you get wood boards or metal mesh covers for the sides that clip on with reusable clips. Using cellophane every time would generate a lot of plastic waste, which is already a global problem!
Instead of using shrink wrap why not make canvas shades and put grommets on the side and weave a rope on the side...less plastic reusable, better for the environment You are in the Green State!😊
Peg, that Jacob yarn is extra special. It should be either for YOU or Todd. I'm sure that your son-in-law is great, but the yarn just wouldn't be AS special to him.

Awesome!

January’s open house is going to be on a Saturday so maybe we could see you then!
Just saw Kamala won Vermont. I’ve been binge watching your earlier episodes this week as a way to destress from election anxiety so was really happy to see a new episode this evening. Hello from Colorado!
Hello! ☺️
Nice seeing you again! Can’t wait to knit up that beautiful Corriedale from your farm, Peggy. Take care!
Thanks so much!
If you are looking for venues, the Michigan Fiber Festival in Allegan is in August. The Great Lakes State would love to see you!
👍
You made me smile this morning. A great way to start the day, thank you!
❤️
First time I voted early by mail. Filling out a ballot felt very official.
Yay!
Awesome! Yes I will vote today. I like to go in person. Love the mill cast ! thanks ttfn
😊

Keep trying to get a booth space at Wisconsin Sheep and Wool. It is a great festival. I have been going for years and would love to see you there!
Will do!

Good idea!
What's the blue yarn over Peggy's shoulder during this Millcast? Gorgeous!
I think it is Aurora Borealis!
Trying not to get discouraged by the “red mirage.”
Yarn makes everything better!

Little less about how you make money and more on knitting and yarn….ya lost me in this one
They run a wool mill. That's how they make money. Did you not know that?
@ no I am stupid but you just educated me because you are smarter then me…and apparently are the self appointed feedback police
We hear you!
