What I really appreciate most about these videos is not only do you share the technical side of photography - often in quick little nuggets - but that you tell, show, share great stories in beautiful locations. You are becoming "must see" for me - which means when I see a new post by you, I stop what I am doing and watch. Please continue to make more!
I can't tell you how much I enjoy watching your videos. I get a lot of inspiration from them. Most of the time I'm sitting in my office at work and your video is my escape from that tiny room with no windows. Thanks for that.
Thomas, your ability to climb a mountain in winter with no hat in freezing conditions utterly stupefies me! Love the videos and look forward to your future releases
i just eat these videos up, so inspiring the best photo-vlog's out there. i wish a sports photographer or outdoor adventure, or even street photographer would upload videos like these. i learn so much.
One of the best videos by you. I think your old videos have something special, something different that makes them better (in my opinion) than your newer videos. But keep on going, your new videos are also absolutely stunning 😁
NATGO got nothing on you Thomas! It is incredible that a video so entertaining, adventures and educational could have been made by one man. Well, this was no ordinary man, it was Mr.Thomas Heaton.
Your videos are really inspirational to me. The simplicity by which you shoot shows in your end result. I look forward to learning more from you. Thank you.
As ever, an excellent watch. The first panorama was bloody lovely. I really enjoy getting up ridiculously early to go on a shoot with you in the comfort of an armchair. I also appreciate the no bullshit approach you take to filming and describing your process. Your channel was a happy find. Thanks.
I've been a subscriber since your first video and I have to say I look forward to new videos with as much anticipation as any TV show etc. I actually delayed watching this until I knew I would have enough quiet time. I like how you treat the viewers as if they are camera literate and basically just share your experiences out with your kit. Thumbs up Thomas and keep them coming. Eric
Thomas, you're an inspiration. Alas the weather where I am has been non stop rain all winter. Have to say watching you has been great totally enjoying it. Thank you.
Some of your best images that I have ever seen from you. Seems to be the the colder the weather with the inclusion of snow equates to wonderful images . Thank you for sharing. Always look forward so.... much to your vlogs ...
Excellent video again. We went up the day after you left. Had beautiful weather amazingly. Keep up the good work, makes me want to head back up again already.
Another wonderful video. Been to Scotland twice and envy you the ability to hike the mountains. The photos are glorious! Love the story that accompanies each, please know how much I appreciate your work. You are an inspiration for my photography. I love and agree with your comment about taking pictures of icons. Best, Bob
i just cant stop watching your videos. very inspiring. as you said in 1 video. essentially its about getting up getting out and committing. !! Thank you and keep up the superb work !
Great film in an even better location. Was up that way filming on the Saturday and it was horrific weather. The hill you were on is great for a wild camp and been there many times.
+Thomas Heaton when you say yard, do you mean yards or meters. i think yards is easier to say but people from uk always say miles, feet, ect and i never understood why. pretty sure y'all use metric.
+Julian Boffa We tend to measure distances for casual use (ie when there's no science involved) in miles, feet, yards etc. Also for travel - road signs in the UK are in miles, we measure fuel consumption in miles per (imperial) gallon - even though it's sold by the litre :) and the countdown markers for motorway (highway) exits are at 100 yard intervals. Sometimes we measure distance in minutes - which I always find a bit odd (as in "how far away is the beach?" "about 5 minutes") ?!?
Thomas,Another great video. Really appreciate the extra time and effort you take to visit these remote locations to find the awesome shots for us. Definitely need to add Scotland to my bucket list. Keep up the great work.
I love watching your videos, I learn so much because of the fact that you talk through how your mind is constructing the photo which helps reinforce how I should think about shots when I'm trying to compose them. Not only that, but your content is so engaging and entertaining and I always watch to the end. Absolutely fantastic Thomas, keep up the amazing work, you are truly one of my photography idols!
Another great video, Thomas. Go on like this,I'm a landscape amateur photographer and it's nice to try to live with you the journey through this images. Well done Mauro
Brilliant Thomas. I remember that stretch of dangerous road well on Halloween night when we did a similar thing. It's a magical place, Glencoe and your images have captured it well. Thanks for sharing!
Really enjoyed this video. Glencoe is stunning. Visited once but haven't yet had the chance to explore it properly and take photos. I can't wait to go back. Your shots are stunning.
The big mountain you pointed at is Stob Dearg, one of the two peaks that make up the Buchaille Etive Mor & it's pronounced Stop jerrack. And there is one hell of a view of Rannoch Moor from the top. Seems like you had a good time and made the trip worthwhile with the shots you got. Happy days.
Another fantastic video Thomas!..Stunning location!- really admire your dedication!!..your amazing images prove that it was worth all the effort! Well done again....Regards, LIAM
Thomas your work is stunning and I know what you mean about pessimism I suffer from that trait as well. I find that sometimes I cannot get over the high expectations that I create in my head when going out to photograph and then being down when I cannot live up to them. I should just enjoy the experience and put in every effort to improve. Last time I was at Glencoe I had no idea what I was doing with a camera. I hope to return soon to see how much I have improved. Thanks for another amazing video and please keep them coming!
+swenger27a Yeah, those expectations created in your mind can bring you down. I try not to look at too much work of a location I am about to visit, because it can be demoralising if conditions aren't perfect. Thankfully this doesn't happen all the time.
Awesome vid....the more i see, the more i want to see. I will go here in summer as i live in the NE. Thank you Thomas, another brilliant, exciting video....and your shots are fantastic, quality over quantity....good man.
Thomas I really appreciated the effort that you put into this trip. It can be a sobering feeling to realize that we are human and are often prone to feelings of negativity and self doubt. Adapt and Overcome is key in situations such as that and I am glad that you were able to produce some stunning images of your trip to Glencoe. They were truly magnificent images and are proud to put up there with some of the best you have taken thus far. I truly enjoyed this video and look forward to more in the future. You are a very talented professional.
Hi Thomas I am really a big fan of your photography and videos, your videos are really informative and fun to watch and it really motivates me to go that extra mile for a shot, thank you very much for your continues videos and alot of Information about photography

So funny to watch some of your older videos I barely remember and see the difference in style and attitude.
What I really appreciate most about these videos is not only do you share the technical side of photography - often in quick little nuggets - but that you tell, show, share great stories in beautiful locations. You are becoming "must see" for me - which means when I see a new post by you, I stop what I am doing and watch. Please continue to make more!

Thomas what is the furthest distance that you had to go back to get your tripod after filming yourself walking around?
Best question yet. 100yards.
+Thomas Heaton any of your friends ever offered to just hold your GOPRO instead of you walking back to fetch it?
+Thomas Heaton when you say yard, do you mean yards or meters. i think yards is easier to say but people from uk always say miles, feet, ect and i never understood why. pretty sure y'all use metric.
