If we draft another defencemen I'm gonna have a mental breakdown
I'm sure they'll pick a Winger
Doubt they will. Hughes knows they need a winger or even another centre prospect would be great too.
We could take a dmen while moving some D prospects for an offensive forward. Or If we could also get a 21-23 year old forward for the 5th overall pick. I prefer not waiting on 18 year olds and get a difference maker who is in our cores age range(caufield, Suzuki, Guhle, etc )
Who Habs pick @ # 5 will be the easy part of the draft ...The answer will be obvious when their turn @ the podium arrives ...He will be a big skilled young man who will become a mainstay of the team ...
Senmecke....
Sennecke had a major growth spurt going from 5 .10 to 6.4 in about 8 months
... His mother is 5'11
His father is 6.3... Which means that he will end up at about 6:6.....
He has the best finishing and hands in the draft.... This is the secret guy Habs will pick
It seems that we don't hear anymore rumors about Sennecke going to Montreal. It appears Montreal is all in for Lindstrom eventhough I don't believe he will be there at 5th...maybe Montreal is just playing poker again with the other teams and the media. If Lindstrom is not there, I am too leaning towards Sennecke. Obviously Montreal has to know what is best they should do...in their accelerated rebuild !!!
Habs can trade Matheson to get higher in the first round and pick another one of these forwards ..
@@fredharris9413 the only way Montreal to get a second or third draft pick is to give away a guy.... Caufield is worth it ... But will the second or third team want him
How do you know he will be 6'6? It doesn't work that way. Kids are not always taller then their parents.
@@oasisbeyond he is already 6 4 and a half... His. Coach said ....men grow till age of 21
Last year i wanted them to draft ryan leonard but cause he isnt overly big they went with reinbacher. Size matters for this habs management. If Lindstrom is not avail maybe they trade down a few spots and take beckett-senneke😊
Love how you forgot to list Iginla on your description list of players
The only D mentionned that I am not sold of and would be disappointed if the habs pick him is Silayev. Buium, Parekh, Dickinson and Levshunov especially are all pretty exciting.
I'm glad the Habs are thinking strait. I would also prefer Lindstrom over Demidov. I've seen him play and people are underestimating him. He can do some real magic on the ice. I don't like Demidov attitude, I don't think it fit well with the Habs current mindset.
BPA please
As I said for the Zegras trade if anaheim wants Reinbacher for Zegras. Do it, but if they want Guhle instead of Reinbacher, they gotta trade their 1st overall with our 1st overall pick.
You don’t realize how great Reinbacher is going to be.
@@HabsTypeBeat As we speak, their market trade values are about the same. Speculating on how good Reinbacher is doesn't get things in motion. Anyway I highly doubt Anaheim will do such move because it's too fair of a trade.
@@monarchistdesade6989 Anaheim would do it in a heartbeat Imo. It’s the Habs that won’t do it and rightfully so. Zegras has potential, but is he has to many question marks to trade that type of value for him. He’s not as good as some make him out to be. Talent doesn’t equal effectiveness.
Dvorak, Newhook and 5th pick for Zegras.
Im calling uta and trading for number 6 if im montreal !
Hughes blew it with Michkov, I hope this isn't a repeat of last year
Nope. Right choice. Mitchkov might help Philly make the playoffs one day. But will not lead them to any 3rd , 4th rounds with him as a top 3/4 guy on the team.
Appearantly Columbus has taken a very big liking to Cayden Lindstrom
this coming draft it feels like there is Celebrini then 14 second overrall picks, i get the hype around Lindstrom, but he strongly reming me of josh anderson the way he plays. The habs don't only need size they need game breaking talent too, demidov would be my pick. Also i don;t understand why catton would be a reach guy only knock is his size and he is listed at the combine at 5"11 180 teams will regret not taking him!
Montreal already has their quota of shrimps .... Size and grit and intimidation is beating spread and skill ... See Colorado and Edmonton getting slapped and bruised around by less skill but more grit
@@FooFahFoeFum you are absolutely right but if you look at florida right now they have maybe 6 players that they drafted on their roster. grit you can get high end talent you draft it. anyway i may be wrong on this doesnt mathers canadiens need everything
Does Lindstrom go back to Medicine Hat next year?
Tij Iginla is not a "panic mode" pick. In my opinion he will be the best forward of the draft (other than Celebrini) in a few years.
Over Demidov?
@@thailakhampo definitely. My opinion is Demidov will fall to 7th or 8th pick. He has "Issues"
@@markorr999 not as many as Michkov.
@@komirules that we know of.
Honestly it hurts me to say it but if we draft another d man we should trade Ghule for a forward
They should of take Mitckov last year and now a D - Man this year.
Michkov is still questionable. Demidov has plans to play for the NHL soon, while Michkov was under contract with KHL for years and was unsure of what his future after that would look like.
Arpen Basu and Elliot Friedman must get together every evening to discuss what idiotic trades they can come up with.
Blackhawks take Cayden Lidstrom
Habs management doing it all wrong imo. Last year was offensive draft pool and they picked def man. This year is defensive draft pool and i bet they are going for def man again or forward, either way they failed.
Finally, someone gets it! Imagine the Habs with Michkov, plus one of the top D-Men this year. They would be a much better team
he's going to anaheim I told you a million times lol
forget about him, kent hughes couldn't draft a good player if he's life depended on it, guy hasn't got a clue lol
U gotta be kidding
@@matrixisreal2023 in this economy ?
