The Treaty of Washington, as reiterated by the president of Philippines gives fixed coordinates that includes the Spratlys & WPS. The treaties shows that the Spratlys belongs to the Philippines only and no other. The Velarde map also shows those islands belongs to the Philippines which China has stolen from them. China is trespassing and needs to give back the Spratlys and WPS to Ph. It is ironic that China submitted those treaties as evidence to the UN Arbitration court which showed that the Philippines do own the Spratlys & WPS. China could not accept their stupidity and mistake until today 😂.

And here's the reality of the situation, we won't invoke The MDT cause under the MDT it only says "personnel killed" which means it won't be activated even if there's someone got injured. The US might say always that "we got your back." or it is "Iron Clad" but most of us also know that the Americans need to still approve it in their senate and Congress if we Filipinos said we are activating the MDT.
Activating the MDT doesn't mean we are going to war, but it sure can also lead to it, one small move and it'll start.
On a realistic situation, we Filipinos still have a lot to catch up on our number of assets, all of the branches still needs alot of upgrades and assets. It might take us probably 5 more years if the economy goes smoothly to fully say we are ready to fight to defend.
