My bond with this song is probably really vanilla compared to the links other people here have made with it, reflecting some parts into pretty intense emotions of their personal worlds.

This song always makes me cry because it reminds me that I'm alone in this world 😥. I have no friends sometimes life feels like a big black whole and I just want a hero to save me from the darkness. I don't want to feel irrelevant anymore 😥
Just some advice, you shouldn't need to feel that way. Instead of worrying about someone to save you, why not do what no one has done and save someone else? If you feel like you haven't done anything with yourself, then you can start by resolving yourself to save someone else.

We talked about the memes of the time, made fun of how crappy movies were becoming. We hung out constantly. Then I broke his heart. He asked me to a dance. I refused, platonic was all I ever thought of him. I saw the pain in him when he said it was fine. But we're still friends. Like, when he had a crush on Percy, and he did so much to try to gain Percy's favor, but Percy got together with Annabeth and only ever saw Nico as a little brother. For me this song relates to a girl I met at christmas 2016, I wore a mistletoe wreath round my head (I always do at Christmas, just cause it's festive) and she liked that, we ended up talking loads, went on a few dates, I took her out to dinner, even made and cooked her dinner and we watched movies, we were never together, even though I asked her to be my girlfriend but she wouldn't answer, though she is going to Canada soon for a whole year.. The past like 9+ months she isn't even bothering with me, we had a talk and she said her feelings have changed but I wondered whether that was her fault because I've been asking for ages to take her out, go for a movie etc and she keeps making excuses 'I'm free sunday' then suddenly she's not then ask again and apparently she's not free the whole month? There was one time she said 'my mum was going to buy me a Pandora bracelet but couldn't afford it so got me something else' I know she likes earrings more than any jewellery so I bought her Pandora earrings.. I have said to her 'I just want you to know that I never gave up, I kept asking to do things with you and go places because I enjoy my time with you and I didn't want you to look back thinking' that guy never bothered' because I did, so hard.. The more annoying thing is, she's the only girl that's ever noticed me, I still haven't had a girlfriend yet at the age of 27 and really this girl I have tried so hard for, It makes me feel very irrelevant
