@@ApartmentMaintenance one issue i'm having now is the dryer barrel, or whatever, apparently isn't pushed in far enough. It didn't lock in. So it dries, and it works, but it squeaks and I have to reach in and push it from the inside to kind of lock it in. Is there a fix for that without taking the whole thing apart again?
@@ApartmentMaintenance I think I know what happened. On the top near the bearings there are 2 felt squares, I guess you might can them. In my ignorance I thought they were lint and I pulled them out and tossed them away. I think that is making the drum slip forward just a tiny bit and causing the issue. Is there a replacement for that? What do you think?

@ApartmentMaintenance yea even the new ones I bought looked almost black but they are sold as green. This dryer has made me nutty. A tab that holds blower motor down snapped and now if I put a entire load in I can hear the blower fan grinding the plastic shroud. I think it is allowing the blower motor to tilt downward ever so slightly with enough weight in the drum. Even before I removed any blower motor bolts. When I attempted to lock tensioner pully behind the motor mount tab the motor itself kinda twisted to left. I'm assuming that tab being broken is allowing blower motor shaft to move enough to grind blower fan when it gets too much weight in drum. I should have piled up some bigger washers where tab broke and tried to lock it down better.
