I will never forget the look on my husbands face. We are currently pregnant with baby #3 and I swear in my wildest dreams I never knew such happiness. My cup is overflowing. My heart is so full. Everyday I feel blessed. . . I suffer from anxiety and depression. As a teen I never thought id live a long life. But when I met my husband, for the first time I saw a future for myself. I knew i wanted to live a long life if I was living with him. I am so glad I didnt die before I got my chance at life.. For anyone struggling, it really truly does get better. Sometimes with medication, sometimes with good people who love you, sometimes with prayer or whatever works for you. But it does get better

So my husband actually gave me some insight into why some guys get emotional at that moment. I had to ask Lol. He said the it was a few things. He said "of course because you looked so beautiful" but also said "there's something about seeing you and your father, and the feeling that your father his putting his trust in ME to take care of this precious human being" His words! He just made me cry AGAIN! 😭😭

My husband didn’t respond like this on our wedding day but he did before he died. He loved me more in the end than in the beginning and thought me more beautiful when I was exhausted from caring for him than on the day we got married I fulfilled my vows eleven years later and if I ever get another chance I can only hope great sacrificial love in return... and a few tears for my beauty on my second wedding day.

When I got married, I almost cried when I saw the guests stood up when I was entering the church. One of the guests gave me a tissue. I, then heard one of the ladies say: "Bernard needs a tissue too!" I couldn't believe my eyes when I looked up and saw my husband crying! This....the love from movies and books is indeed a fairy-tale. You may have met the man of your future in your past, you just had your standards skewed by said interference. We are the ones when you were younger that respected you and cherished you that were always treated as jut friends whilst you chased the bad boy who treated you like trash but you wanted to change into a nice guy until you realised that the relationship was a hollow one and the good guys had moved on.

Running into these girls we really liked after many a year was ironic when they remained single and we had met a woman who actually respected us and laughed and joked with us instead of us having to be or act or look a certain way.

Waiting for my wife to come home after she had an overnight shift. This video took me back to that Saturday Afternoon over 35 years ago when we were married. Her father was actually more nervous than me but I remember thinking WOW, when they finally emerged through the door and walked me. Loved it so much repeated it for our 30th in Las Vegas.
In all seriousness, beyond the comments of "if he doesn't cry, I'm turning around," these things are so important. I can't tell you how many times I've looked at myself in the mirror and wondered how a husband or a wife could ever look at me in a white dress and feel like crying. When I got married, I almost cried when I saw the guests stood up when I was entering the church. One of the guests gave me a tissue.
