So glad he's okay, and that piece of advice about cars going slow on backroads is absolute gold.
Me too! And thanks! It’s taken a few learning lessons of my own to figure that one out 😁
Scary! May I use this video in my new episode? Full Credited of course
Go for it! Thanks for asking. 🤝
@@JacobBaldry Thank you!
That was a close call!
Hi, may I include this on our channel? It'll be credited and linked back
Hello! Would it be okay to feature it in moto edit? You will get full credit for it. Thanks
Yo DL! Feel free. Thanks for the credit. Cheers.
Tuned in to see if Tyler had used his front brake. Given how fast he was slowing down that looked like all rear brake.
It was both, then when he slid he released the front brake first, being unsure of what was causing the slide. Then he lifted the rear brake and it corrected. So not ALL rear brake, but clearly too much rear brake caused the chaos. He’s only been riding for half a season, so there’s always something to learn. He did great for the circumstances. Thanks for checking out the video!
Good to feature? Fully credited of course!
Thanks!
You got it. Thanks!
The other thing about country roads in farm areas is that you need to expect there will be gravel and mud on the road especially near driveways and entrances to fields. But of course recognizing that following too close can result in extreme butt hole pucker incidents.
Great insight! We definitely practice “no rolling onto the throttle until you can see your exit” to ensure we aren’t hauling tail into a gravel patch. But the problem here was following distance paired with another driver’s quick change in path. Lessons learned, and nobody got hurt! That’s a win. 😁
