I run an analytics blog and track ammo prices for about a year now. Prices generally going down. 7.62x39 still stayed up recently but slowly getting better. 9mm is average .30 cents a round now
There is for Tokarov 7.62, one for pistols and one with higher pressure made for SMG's that could handle more due to the design of the Russian Tokarov Pistol. Czech's was the only exception being a different design all together which could handle both.

My Hi-Power had 9mm Luger stamped on it and my UZI had 9mm Para. I fired the same ammo through both.

thought pressures were different and some guns cant handle all 9s....? idk
They’re the same round. Pressures may vary brand to brand, and if you get a +P round
