Just bought one to accompany my 09 VMAX. It is truly a treat to ride and cruise. Surprisingly very responsive and able to to do what needs to do. Possibly cruse range close to 300 miles.
Unknown gem to many... smooth... comfortable... cheap insurance... made the same exact bike for about 14 years, no changes. Even had cassette player in 2013... plenty of used parts available... wish it had more dash space for a GPS stereo...
Looking at a 1999. New rider here, one year so far. Currently have a Kawasaki Vulcan S sports cruiser, great beginner bike. This Yamaha is probably more intermediate? While a bigger bike, bigger engine, I should be able to handle it well coming off a Vulcan S?
@@nodrog1953 I change the front and back tire for a while there it worked all right then now it's wobbling again. I'm thinking bearings too bushings. Thanks
hi sean nice to write you, i am a big fan of your videos, I'm a big fan of your videos, I just bought the same bike in Mexico and I did the changing oil by one mineral, there are people who tell me to put the sintetic but I think by the engine type and years should to carry the mineral 20w 50 , it would be amazing if I could give me or point of view, your opinion is very important because I consider you an expert , thanks in advance.
That's just one reason I wouldn't buy a buy from you or anyone else for the simple fact you going to let that license plate beat the s*** out of the tail light lens I know it's not a big deal but it's just a principle and the thought that you don't care
