Even though there are other versions of Donkey Kong because the Original Donkey Kong is Cranky Kong and Donkey Kong Country Donkey Kong is the Grandson Donkey Kong that was confirmed by Nintendo.

The original Donkey Kong from 1994 for the gameboy is actually Cranky Kong
Nintendo is probably retconning that but it doesn't matter anyway to even mention it.

Miniland Mayhem was the last game of the series with boss fights. In the next games DK is not even an antagonist.

Maybe that's why DK is dumb. Too many barrels to the head. Also, March Only The Minis is where Pauline's Mario Kart Tour design came from? And I like the remix of the very first level of DK '94. Love the remix of Jungle Hijinx from DKC (SNES). And the final battle in Mario VS. Donkey Kong references the final battle in DK '94.
