It's amazing to think that in 1999 the original Star Wars was 22 years ago in 1977, which felt like an eternity ago at the time. Now we're in 2024 and we're 25 years away from 1999, and to me the late 90s and 2000s doesn't feel all that long ago. But I guess to kids or early 20s people it must feel like a long time ago.

ikr, i remember obsessing on Phantom Menace (the build up to it) throughout 99 downloading the trailers on early internet (that it was reporrted ppl were going to see movies like Meet Joe Black and The Siege just to see TPM trailer then leave) the posters, the vanity fair issue etc (and thered been the OT SW re-releases with new FX in cinemas the previous year), and back then the SW trilogy seemed an eternity ago (actually only 16y. i saw Jedi at the cinema in 83 and then ANH/ESB later on tv/vhs)..now TPM is like 25years ago!! hell even TFA is coming up for 10y and that literally feels just the other month!
Any film called Star Wars recorded after 1983 is bull$∆#t!!!!

As one who is almost the same age as Natalie, having grown up with her movies, it's nice to share the passage of time together. Garden State was one of my favs. Thanks Natalie!

It isn't called football because you kick a ball with your foot, it was called football because it was done-on foot-rather than a sport on a horse which was much more common around the formation of football. People get the origin wrong all the time, the name has literally nothing to do with kicking a ball. Whenever people say handegg it drives me crazy and reminds me of their ignorance.

We understand soccer better because we play basketball and hockey, those sports are basically a rules altered soccer like game. So we understand soccer better because of our familiarity with those sports. But the world has nothing like American football and is completely ignorant of the complexity and the elegance of the game. The world has nothing like it. Even rugby and Australian rules is closer to soccer than American football. There is literally no sport in the world like it. That's why American are more informed on the topic.

Ask Sarah Lane about the "humble" part.....She has zero chemistry, full stop. Think about it: she’s been in films with lots of sexy actors - Hemsworth, Eric Banna, Vincent Cassel - and she has NO chemistry with any of them. Natalie has an amazingly beautiful face - it’s pretty much perfect - but your average shop mannequin has more sex appeal and charisma than she has.

Most people, regardless of genre, don't even have access to these "healthy choices" you talk about, be it for financial reasons or simply lack of education. That's not a knock on her, it's not her fault we live in a pretty unequal society, but it's important to understand privilege is a thing.

One of the greatest joys of my life was being named Natalie and in college when the Natalie rap came out. All my male friends who knew me best sang it to me, especially when I beat them all at poker. We all have kids now but occasionally one of my old bros will sing a few of Andy's lines. I am still a fun mix of terrifying and derpy.

I loved the film The Professional with Jean Reno.
How about a follow up, later life story with Reno, and maybe Jason Statham. I'm sure an American star would be unlikely to attempt such a sentimental re-casting, but the star power of those 3 all transcend the boundaries because their fan -bases are so huge.
They could make a GREAT fun film! Just putting a seed of a film idea out there. Please go for it Natalie.
