💁♀️ HI I'M MELISSA MARIBEL
I help students pass Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. I used to struggle with this subject, so when I finally graduated with a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, I became a tutor so that you wouldn't have to struggle like I did. I know that with the right help, YOU CAN LEARN ANYTHING!

I didn't know where to comment this but I HAD to let you know... I got an A in my first college chem class!!!! Thank you SO MUCH. You changed my game!
You're an angel. This is exactly what I'm working on right now in class👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Yay! I love perfect timing 😊
ARMYYYYYY
Just got my final grade for chemistry and I passed, wooo!!! Thank you Melissa! I watched your videos almost every day a week before the final & felt hella confident during the test. thank you thank you!
Congrats!! 🎉💃🏻 You are so welcome Jessica!
Holy crap you're a lifesaver. I have stage 10 terminal stupidity, and yet, you made this make sense. Thanks! :D
Where's your Nobel Prize? No seriously.
I swear you make everything so simple!!!
Thanks! I’m so happy to hear this is getting easier 😊
I can speak for my entire Gen Chem class when I say you are absolutely amazing and a grade saver!! thank you so much for doing what you do!!
I've been struggling in Chemistry lately and I'm so happy that I have this channel to refer to!
Thank you so much for going over how to do the process after you already explained the example, it really helps to be able to remember the steps in future problems.
You literally saved my life multiple times!! I 'm grateful that you like chemistry, and that you like helping people.
I shared your UA-cam with my chem class you are a life saver
best tutor in the world
Hey Melissa, I just came across your channel today and I have to be honest I am pretty darn impressed. I would say by far one of the best chemistry resources out there. Also which degree do you have...quite curious to know.
im still on hs but this is our topic wth, thank you very much..
Honestly such a big help. Thank you so much. I have a gas laws exam in 3 days. Definitely gonna do better because of this 😂
Hey Melissa I wanted to say thanks for the videos. I struggled before, but your videos really helped me pass my college chemistry class this time around.
Thanks again! 🙂
You are so welcome 😊 Happy to hear you passed, congratulations 🎉
your videos are very helpful but when it comes to my exams my professor decided to provide us with the hardest exam questions possible
Thanks maam, it is very well detailed. Actually I watch this vid because I have an upcoming test on Monday. I feel motivated now. Thanks maam🎉
my general chemistry 1 teacher hasn’t really been the most helpful and i was scared i was going to fail or get a C. he never held tutoring hours and never answered questions during lecture.he was also absent all lab period🙃😭...but thanks to YOUR VIDEOS i earned a B!!!!!
YAY!!! Congratulations this is amazing 🎉
Melissa Maribel i will definitely come back to your videos when i need chem 2 and organic chem💗
Amazing explanation! Thank you😇
Received a B + on my final and ended with a solid A ! Thank you !!!!
melissa you are amazing ! you have helped me achieve an A on both of my exams this semester
bless you for this. i have chem midterm coming up and your videos have been a lifeline for me to understand all these concepts
good stuff im watching at 4am
Plz make video on balancing by partial equation method
Sorry for my ignorance I'm a Chem 100 student, but how can you have the reactant of Ag2O, decompose into a completely different element of Al?
Great guys thanks 👏
YOU SAVED MY LIFE
this was v helpful tysm!
This is great!!! Thank you!!
You're very welcome 😊
This really helped me
I like your videos, but one thing is confusing me in the problem with silver oxide. Where does the aluminum come from?
We need teacher like you😍😍
Glad to see you are still making amazing videos!
Thank you Karen! Happy to see you are still making delicious recipes on your channel!
@@melissamaribel Yes I finally got my kitchen done and am making videos again. I am so happy about that!
Your kitchen looks fantastic! So happy it's done and you're back making videos 😊
@@melissamaribel Thanks!
HEY! At time point 1:04 you wrote Al as a product, but you meant to write Ag ! My man Jose pointed this out to me just now! You da man, Jose.
Thank you, darling!
Thanks so much for your videos I’m so glad I found it. I just passed chemistry before school ended (with a B+!)Without your channel I would have to retake it..
Yay!! Congratulations on passing 🎉
Damn, Its so cool how you can be happy with a B+, no offense. If I don't get an A, Ill already be dead before my parents see my report card. Thanks Melissa.
You explain it so much better than my professor
THANK YOUUUUU
Mam excellent
Final is this Friday, I hope I do well : /
Ok how come this helps me more then my teacher, like can u come and replace my teacher
First balanced equation should have a decomp. Of 2Ag + O2
Melissa, do you do online tutoring? More than willing to pay!
Hi there, I am struggling so much to comprehend Chemistry and have an exam in a few weeks. My first exam was a fail. I need a win. I'd love some advice as I need to somehow re-learn everything from Chapter 1 to 5.
Mam when did I gonna round off in my solution. And how many decimal?
Hi Melisa I will start general chem 2 in summer and organic chem 1 in fall. I would like to be ahead of class so, which of your package you would recommended me to buy for these classes? ty!!
Yay! Happy to hear you are moving on up to the next levels in chemistry 🎉
The two notes I have so far for Chem 2 are:
Kinetics: melissamaribel.com/products/kinetics-notes
Acids & Bases: melissamaribel.com/products/acids-bases-notes-1
god THANK YOU
I live in Canada and my teacher used kpa or kilopascals. I am confused on ATM or kpa
How silver oxide gives aluminium ?
I really need some tutoring for my chem exam☹️
thermodynamics please!!!!!!
uhh does silver oxide decompose to alumunium plus oxygen gas
shout out to my fellow stern mass students
do you have any notes on solutions
I don't have notes on solutions yet but I do have notes on molarity and dilutions. melissamaribel.com/products/molarity-notes
Melissa why don’t you have videos for all the gas laws?
I do, here’s the link ua-cam.com/video/SXrbPXt4-8g/v-deo.html
How did you get 0.0821 L atm?
That is the value of R which is a known gas constant. It’s something you are expected to memorize.
@@melissamaribel okay, Thank you
I'm sorry, but $18-$20 for one section of Chem notes? That seems a bit overpriced. If it was all of the sections I could justify that price. But to spend upwards of $100 for a semester of notes is just insane. Good luck. I guess I can respect the hustle.
Sorry to hear you find the notes expensive but for how much is actually in the notes it is priced very low. All my notes have everything you need to know for a specific topic, plus common test questions and extremely detailed explanations with each step. In reality these notes are worth at least 4 tutoring sessions which is anywhere near $200 to $250 . I know this because I was a private tutor for 10 years. Just wanted to explain how much effort and work I put into it all because I know the notes are helping a lot of students. But of course I understand if someone can not afford them, then that is the beauty of UA-cam having free videos. Hope you can understand 🤓
I think this price is still best because ww are paying for a semester notes 80 dollars for math and 160 for book .just 20 bucks for notes is best price
That’s really a pretty decent price. I’m sure she puts a lot of time into the notes.
She asked the girl that she's teaching if she understand the math part and the girl replied yes but if this is a video for everyone to understand than she should of still explain the math part so it would be clear
Thank you for your feedback I appreciate it and I'm happy to explain. Which part wasn't making sense?
whys R=0.821??
R=0.0821 always, it’s just the constant.
anybody else in 10th grade chemistry?
Hello mam i m from pakistan I need your chemistry notes
