Fantastic and very instructive video! I can't wait to try this new stitch. Can you tell me exactly what thread you're using and where you purchased it? I'm not 100 percent happy with the thread I'm using. When you "overwax" the thread do you just use candle wax?
I ‘m glad you liked the video! I’m using 4 ply waxed linen thread. I usually buy it from Royalwood Ltd. but there are other sources as well. I use beeswax to over wax the thread. You can buy beeswax votive candles or find it at a farmers market. If you subscribe to my channel you will be notified when I post new content.

It’s difficult. First I make sure to wash my hands! I over wax the thread so it is really coated with wax If I am wrapping, I rub the finished wrap with my fingers to make it shiny.

I think you are asking which thread I use. If that is your question, I usually use 4 ply waxed linen thread. You can order it online.

What type of thread are you using?
The thread is Crawford Irish Linen 4-ply. It’s my favorite.
