Hi Brian - I FINALLY started watching Black Mirror … after having passed it many many times … and the very first episode in the very first series is … Apple Vision Pro 5-10 years from today!!
I’d love to get one but I’ll wait for the 2nd or 3rd generation of this device when there’s more improvements and more apps/games. Also, the price will have to drop to $2,000 or lower for me to consider buying one. In Canada, the Vision Pro will cost $4,700. Ouch. I’d be fine with having a version that doesn’t have a screen in the front that shows a digital rendering of my eyes. I don’t need this feature at all. That would probably lower the cost a lot. I also wouldn’t have to worry about damaging the screen.
Totally agree and they should have interchangable battery packs. I don't mind buying a larger capacity battery for more than 2hr usage. Finally they could cut cost by halving the per eye resolution and like you said getting rid of the front screen. It has to be sub $2000 for me to consider it, I just don't see the. Benefit of this device besides experiencing the Apple "magic". Every use case thus explained doesn't appeal to me. The developers will have make this thing make sense. It's not an iphone replacement at all.
I spent 3 grand for my iMac 27", so $500 more for spacial computing? Sign me up too! Love to play with it, with Unity and develop some cool things too.
I am excited to developing Connect Creator for the vision pro as a developer I have been waiting for a product like this to be released so I can create something that will change social media
I say the following as an Android/Windows user: Some people don't seem to understand that Apple Vision Pro is more than "just a headset". It's a WEARABLE MACBOOK with desktop performance that can replace a laptop for many if not most people. You don't need an iPhone, iPad, or Macbook to use it. You can connect a Bluetooth keyboard and browse the web, etc. By comparison, the Meta Quest Pro is more like a WEARABLE CHROMEBOOK. Obviously this product isn't targeted at average consumers (hence the price) BUT society in general has demonstrated for decades that they are willing to pay a premium for entertainment especially if it's life-changing or impactful. The people who are complaining about the price are NOT the target audience for this headset and they were never planning on buying it to begin with so why complain?? Because they're miserable in life and just want something new to complain about? 😑 One's enjoyment of a product should be based on the experience it provides and NOT the price one paid for it. If you got this headset for free then chances are you would be praising how awesome it is and/or that it has transformed the way you consume entertainment. If Apple suddenly told you to pay $3,500+Tax for it then suddenly it's not worth it?? 😂😂😂 Also keep in mind that it's a one-time fee and not some recurring monthly service that you keep paying for like Netflix, Game Pass, Spotify, or access to use the heated car seats on a BMW car, etc. If people can waste money on a daily $7-$8 Starbucks coffee 5 days a week or $15 cocktails at a bar, they can instead save that money and put it towards something more expensive that they want that lasts way longer like a $400 PS5 or a $2,500 QD-OLED TV or whatever they want no matter the price. Just saying...
The one potential feature I'm hoping for the most is for that port with the dongle to be usable by users. That would mean you could use it for professional uses, like plugging in an audio interface for latency-free music production. It would make all the difference!
My question is that only the center of the screen is in focus like in all the headsets before, or there is an eye tracking to keep the focuse what I watch or simply the whole field of view is in focus?
It has foveated rendering which tracks your eyes and doesn't render the entire screen the whole time and renders less detail on the edges of where you're looking at to save power and tax the processing less. Other headsets do this as well
@@briantong Lots of other headset does not track the eyes, and only the middle part of the screen is in focus, wich is unnatural. I have to turn my head always. I wonder if the next Quest 3 would have eye tracking or that is still a premium feature.
I think the battery pack not being on the back is a major PLUS because it means you can lay down on a couch or bed flat or sideways while wearing this without a bulging thing in the back of your head. Takes all of the weight off you. I too wondered what happens when the battery dies and it's not good that it turns off it means you have to definitely be tethered to a plug if you want to watch a movie or do anything long term. But I'm sure the power on/off is very quick with that M2 chip. Someone will probably develop a hotswap battery pack for this thing where it keeps 30-60 seconds of power going long enough to switch batteries. I also cannot see developers playing with this thing and not immediately making their own third party controller, and utilizing the fact that with the M2 chip it's the same architecture as any Mac and you can translate DirectX12 games into Metal 3 now. They could totally make an amazing VR gaming experience on this headset. Most VR/AR games are simple ones like beat saber or the boxing game which on most headsets requires you to punch your hands with a controller, but with how good the hand/eyetracking is on this thing, you could play those games just using your bare hands. Then for FPS games they could totally make hand gestures work, but I think a simple controller could be developed that simply adds haptic feedback and physical buttons. But it's clear Apple didn't want to seem like just another gaming headset and wanted to tackle the actual computing market, which is the real future. Video games are not the future of anything, it's just entertainment. But the Vision Pro OS is definitely a platform that computers will be operating on in the future, and we're just getting the technology 5 years early so there's going to be some tradeoffs. Just recognize this is a new product category and imagine the Vision Pro 2 or Vision Pro 3???!? It's already so far ahead I think Apple has nowhere to go but UP from here.
Yes, it's very good and running at its native 48 fps frame rate on Apple Vision Pro. It looked REALLY good and the video displayed supports HDR. I forgot to mention that in this video, when I asked them about the video.
Seems like the multiple user experience would get pretty messy if each of the users had a different prescription glasses insert. Can you imagine keeping track of your 2 slivers of glass? I'm wondering if Apple is sandbagging on the battery life. That seems like a giant battery pack compared to what's in an iPhone.
How does the Vision Pro save its work state if the battery is accidentally disconnected? Does it have a capacitor to give it a few seconds to back its state into SSD or do you lose your work and corrupt the SSD, requiring an index rebuild?
I would imagine anything you do in full VR (like a movie in movie theatre mode) uses quite a bit less battery as it doesn't need to use the R1 nearly as much to process and stream the outside world in.
Great video 👍🏻 I’m curious to see how it would deal with typing when using a physical keyboard. Would it be thrown and move the cursor when the person typing starts to re-read what they wrote, and then goes back to typing. How will it deal with people who look at the keyboard while typing. 🤔
Thanks for asking about multiple users use-cases i wonder what will happen when someone or something passes through a window in space. Like when the guy handed the user the orange card. What if he handed it through the floating window?
Right I thought about that. Maybe hand gestures like Iron Man VR. But it would limit games to flying/hovering. Walking would be weird without controllers
They need a gesture similar to 5 finger out to go to desktop and hide all windows in mac os but instead expanding your figures out removes all of the windows and make it passthrough only view. That would be cool.
Is there no power cord from an ac adaptor? Battery of 2 hours is limiting but OK for short usage, where a power supply when your near a power socket would be ideal.
Like Brian, wow it’s going to be quite a sight when we see the first video of that cracked screen $3499 What’s it going to cost to repair the screen if at all?
I hope they make a version that doesn’t have a screen. A lot of people don’t need a screen or it showing a digital rendering of their eyes. I know I don’t. It would also lower the cost a lot.
If the battery has a standard plug for charging (usb-c?), you can probably attach regular battery banks to it and swap that out. If you're watching a full length movie, you're likely sitting down in place. Just keep it plugged in
People need to sit back and just chillax a bit! This is the products first iteration and there’s so much that Apple can improve upon before the actual product launch to the public. Heck, I still remember my first iPhone and not truly understanding half of its power until about 3 months into ownership. They’ll get it right before the actual launch. After all, it’s Apple.
@@briantong Do you ever use your phone or laptop while it’s plugged in charging? Of course you do. It’s no different with the Apple Vision Pro. Chances are, you’re going to be sitting on the couch watching the movie, plug it in. Duh…. Come on, you were either ignorant of this fact or intentionally tried to freak people out.
i assume apple will launch various Battery packs. basic 2hrs will come inside the box. if someone want 5hrs or more they will have the option to buy it. like any accessories.
Thanks for the extra bits, I've watched most o the developer videos but it's good to hear some answers to questions like can you hot swap batteries... I was thinking for that you could just hook up a phone power bank to the USB-C port on the battery to get extended battery life, tr just to a charger for watching a movie.
I don't think enough people are talking about the ability to record video and photos in 3D, I think that may end up being a killer app. Depending on how immersive 3D photos or video are I think many people would like to record their children or aging parents in that format to look at in the future.
And wait until the feature comes to our iPhone so we can watch those videos and videos on the headset! The current camera on the Vision Pro is so immersive, even if the resolution is lower quality and a square aspect ratio. I don't want to put on a headset to take those photos and videos, let me do it on my phone.
@@briantong I am curious for the 3D photos and videos I realize there is a sense of depth but are the objects flat or do they have sense of 3D holographic depth?
For me Apple Vision Pro is a revolutionary device. It is years ahead of its competitor. But only three things I don't like it is 1. Price = $3,500 2. Battery (2hrs approx) and 3. Design (not comportable compared to PSVR headset). Thank you Sir Brian for your time sharing your views / opinion regarding this awesome device. God bless!!!
It's not "years ahead" there just isn't a market for the tech. Other companies including Oculus/Meta have this tech and been have implemented a lot of it but considering over 80%+ of current VR users are using them for gaming. Current eye tracking exist mainly for Foveated rendering for batter performance rendering games and scenarios. If Meta wanted to release a balls to the walls device for $3,000 they would and could, but they know it wouldn't sell....They rather sell a $300 HMD and get 20 million+ people to buy it.
@@stdesy agreed, it defiantly takes a a heard of sheep to all of a sudden agree to something no matter how questionable it is.🤣 And Apple is the ONE company who can it.
It all depends how comfortable that is. Will definitely try it. But currently I'm in favor of the meta quest 3, based on my experience from the quest 2.
Talking about the battery, I thought the headset has like 5 minutes of internal battery just for this case you have to put a new one and you have like 5 minutes to do it
I was told directly by an Apple rep for the Vision Pro that it does not when I clarified if it shut down or not. So I'm going off of what I was told directly.
I just want to know if there is going to be an extra battery that you could buy with it. and it should be two battery packs charge points on the head band so if your are watching a longer movie, you can put the other battery on while taking the other one off and you kinda get a hand off for the battery power.Bettery's are getting better too, so if they come out either next year or within six months were the battery pack can last longer like 8 hours that would be better too, I mean if the iPhone has a battery that can power it for 12 to 26 hours why can't they have a battery pack that last longer for the Vision Pro!
I don’t understand the obsession with it not being isolating. We often isolate when we meditate, when we read, when we watch content, when we study or want to focus on something so we may dive as deep as possible into learning a subject. Isolation may be necessary for true transformation, to break free of habits and patterns that no longer serve us, similar to being positively influenced by a great movie or book that you give your full attention to. In fact it has been shown that VR experiences may be one of the best and most powerful ways of entering a flow state which is great for our health and creativity.
Did you ask them if you can plug another battery into the USB C port on that battery instead of plugging it into the mains because that means if that battery drains down you can power the vision pro and recharge the battery at the same time from another battery
The dad recording his kids had heavy black mirror vibes. It's just not something I expect to see real people doing though - at least not very often. People are making a big deal about the 3D video recording - which is admittedly a cool thing but there's a problem with it that nobody is talking about - how are you going to watch that 3D video? The only place to watch it will be the Vision Pro you recorded it on (or, if the format supports it, potentially some 3D TVs out there). People don't record family videos so that they can sit around and watch them *alone* - they record them to be shared with friends and family and watched together. That's also why I kind of roll my eyes at the entire concept of using this headset as a media consumption device - most people watch tv shows and movies *with* other people - you can't do that with a headset because everything you're experiencing is isolated. Headsets work as gaming machines because most people play games alone (or online with others - but they're still physically isolated when doing that). People definitely do sit and watch tv/movies alone - but not as often as they do those things with other people.
Maybe the battery is left to an accessory add-on, and I’m surprised that u will need to get leases because couldn’t they use the eye sense to adapt the leases to your vision after all it is a vision pro !
Couch Potatoes will surly complain about the weight of the headset. All regular Gym Rats who regularly lift weights will build their neck muscles to easily manage the 3 - 5 lbs of extra head weight. For those are not familiar with head/neck muscle development, small light weights are typically produce amazing results (6-10 weeks).
It appears that the locking connection to the headset is proprietary and the cable attachment to the battery pack is permanent - at least for now. However the battery pack has a standard USB type C port into which you can plug in a third party battery.
Exactly. There’s no mention except the one time Apple did that this is US only to start. So the rest of the world has to wait again. UA-camrs need to mention this too. The internet has no border (except autocratic regimes)
How is the image quality compared to a 14 MacBook Pro? When I hear awesome image quality, compared to other VR headsets? Because the existing VRs image quality sucks. 12:09
Since it’s called Vision Pro, I have a feeling after a year or two they got a rename it, Apple glasses pro and released a cheaper version called Apple glasses that has the interface more so associated with the iPhone and iOS and a integrated battery pack and support for cellular data
It takes a lot of effort to trademark something globally. They put a lot of thought into the name. They’re not glasses, more like goggles. The name has a double meaning, it’s also Apple’s “vision” (concept) of computing in the future.
*I'll tell you a secret. The apple vision pro will come with a M3 chip not the M2 chip. Apple don't want to announce the M3 chip before the iPhone 15. At the iPhone event they will announce the apple vision pro will have a M3 chip instead.*
BS! iPhone 15 is not getting an M3 first of all. The iPhone uses A series chips that are mobile chips! You won’t see an M3 in the AVP until the second gen. To be honest, I don’t think it needs it! Don’t forget it has an R1 chip that handling the AR processing.

@@bushgreen260 Strongly doubt that, Apple have never done a spec switcheroo like that before. It's also bad for devs if they target M2 and suddenly they get M3, they've wasted a bunch of time limiting their app to run on M2 unnecessarily.
Just looking at the ergonomics of watching a movie and I can't see any reason to be using battery power for this. I'm usually sat in a comfortable spot with easy access to a power point. The battery pack can be plugged in to it's charger whilst static. I'd likely use the battery when mobile or transitioning between areas.
They have to build in a short buffer for us to swap batteries! Brian ... is that dongle for us to connect directly to a Mac Studio WITHOUT going through a standalone display?!!
Maybe a two hour battery is a good thing Even for movies Long Movies used to have an intermission It kinda seems healthier to take a break after two hours
You can plug it in to have all day use if you need to. However, I doubt anyone is going to wear it more than 2 hours at a time without needing to take a break. Also, when watching a movie at home, who doesn’t ever pause or take a break at least once? I don’t think it’s a big deal to pause for a few minutes to switch batteries if you don’t want to plug it in or can’t plug it in somewhere.
This is new technology and will only get better with each generation like the iPhone… I think I’ll try one later down the line when more apps come around cause I really think for the first couple of days maybe even a month this will be cool as shit but eventually that wow factor will start to fade
Why is everyone acting like you can’t plug this into an outlet? They made that really clear. Sure it’s great to be able to use the battery, but they can also be plugged into an outlet. It’s not like we haven’t been doing that with other VR systems for a long time. And I’m sure they will be third parties, that will come out with extended battery packs 🙃
I can only see this becoming a major game changer, and could replace the iPhone is when the device is presented as a normal pair of glasses. But, everything has a beginning.
They are both removable, the headband for sure. The faceguard will be tougher, maybe you wipe it down with a soapy wet cloth but that's about it. It has a bracket that connects to the Vision Pro headset, and it doesn't feel like something you can throw in the wash at all.

Benefit of this device besides experiencing the Apple "magic". Every use case thus explained doesn't appeal to me. The developers will have make this thing make sense. It's not an iphone replacement at all.
Finally someone that actually asked them good questions
Don't care about the price, I need to get these.
I am thinking something like a city builder, Civilization, Age of Empires, set on your table in AR. That would be cool AF.
I say the following as an Android/Windows user:
Some people don't seem to understand that Apple Vision Pro is more than "just a headset".
One's enjoyment of a product should be based on the experience it provides and NOT the price one paid for it.
If you got this headset for free then chances are you would be praising how awesome it is and/or that it has transformed the way you consume entertainment.
If Apple suddenly told you to pay $3,500+Tax for it then suddenly it's not worth it?? 😂😂😂
Also keep in mind that it's a one-time fee and not some recurring monthly service that you keep paying for like Netflix, Game Pass, Spotify, or access to use the heated car seats on a BMW car, etc.
You eye sight will get bad if you replace your laptop with this. You will develop double vision and nearsightedness.
Adderall?
@@w2385-i2sthat’s unlikely to happen unless you are rather young
The one potential feature I'm hoping for the most is for that port with the dongle to be usable by users. That would mean you could use it for professional uses, like plugging in an audio interface for latency-free music production. It would make all the difference!
Who is the best tech reviewer out there? Brian Tong is. Period
The adapter is just there to allow for third party power banks, devices to transfer data, and other stuff the Apple laptops have USB-C ports for.
awesome product for production and later on 1st gen. imagine this thing in 2-3 years. thats gonna have an insane impact on so many areas in life.
I wonder is you can plug it into the Mac while using it to keep it charged.
Probably 2nd gen
Did you get the chance to experience a 3D movie like Avatar on it? Is it comparable to other VRs or different?
Great video 👍🏻
I’m curious to see how it would deal with typing when using a physical keyboard. Would it be thrown and move the cursor when the person typing starts to re-read what they wrote, and then goes back to typing. How will it deal with people who look at the keyboard while typing. 🤔
Thanks for asking about multiple users use-cases
i wonder what will happen when someone or something passes through a window in space.
Like when the guy handed the user the orange card. What if he handed it through the floating window?
Can you imagine a Doctor Strange type game? Doing hand gestures to do magic.
I’ve said this too, all games with this would have to be with hand gestures
Right I thought about that. Maybe hand gestures like Iron Man VR. But it would limit games to flying/hovering. Walking would be weird without controllers
Can the Apple Vision Pro be connected to the power directly instead of using the battery pack?
They need a gesture similar to 5 finger out to go to desktop and hide all windows in mac os but instead expanding your figures out removes all of the windows and make it passthrough only view. That would be cool.
Is there no power cord from an ac adaptor? Battery of 2 hours is limiting but OK for short usage, where a power supply when your near a power socket would be ideal.
My question is the corners. Can you see the edge of the display or does each screen take up your entire field of vision?
Like Brian, wow it’s going to be quite a sight when we see the first video of that cracked screen
$3499
What’s it going to cost to repair the screen if at all?
I hope they make a version that doesn’t have a screen. A lot of people don’t need a screen or it showing a digital rendering of their eyes. I know I don’t. It would also lower the cost a lot.
I’m excited to see this progress and my mindset is that I’ll be looking at 2nd or 3rd generation for this to replace part of tv usage, laptop at home.
If the battery has a standard plug for charging (usb-c?), you can probably attach regular battery banks to it and swap that out.
If you're watching a full length movie, you're likely sitting down in place. Just keep it plugged in
It gives me the mental image of hundreds of peple watching a live concert through the screens on their mobile phones.
My company has been using Apples new cameras at the Eras tour. They are called Apple Immersion cameras. Truly amazing from what I have been seeing.
Yup. It's upgraded Next VR tech after Apple acquired them a few years ago for content for this headset! Gonna be seeet
I expected this to be a very blah video but there's genuinely new info, nice!
Relax everyone, it can be directly plugged in. Apple confirmed this and even says on the website. Not sure how this went unknown in his video.
Of course we know that. Who wants to be physically plugged into a power outlet in 2023. No one.
@@briantong Anker will come out with a battery belt with 8 hours of charge.
Interesting
@@briantong Do you ever use your phone or laptop while it’s plugged in charging? Of course you do. It’s no different with the Apple Vision Pro. Chances are, you’re going to be sitting on the couch watching the movie, plug it in. Duh…. Come on, you were either ignorant of this fact or intentionally tried to freak people out.
i assume apple will launch various Battery packs. basic 2hrs will come inside the box. if someone want 5hrs or more they will have the option to buy it. like any accessories.
you just can connect a battery pack to the battery via USB C
Thanks for the extra bits, I've watched most o the developer videos but it's good to hear some answers to questions like can you hot swap batteries... I was thinking for that you could just hook up a phone power bank to the USB-C port on the battery to get extended battery life, tr just to a charger for watching a movie.
It would be nice to be able to buy a bigger battery for those long movies.
I so wish I’d had this a year ago when my dad was healthy.
Since it won't be available until 2023, could Apple be planning to replace the M2 with the M3?
second gen would be M3
@@RoasterOven I agree Sir. Well said.
@@RoasterOventrue, only apply could sell this
@@stdesy agreed, it defiantly takes a a heard of sheep to all of a sudden agree to something no matter how questionable it is.🤣
And Apple is the ONE company who can it.
It all depends how comfortable that is. Will definitely try it. But currently I'm in favor of the meta quest 3, based on my experience from the quest 2.
I think Tim Cook answered the question about multiple users when he described the Apple Vision Pro as the most "advanced personal computing platform"
Its called Personal Computer tho, thats why microsoft calls it a PC.
Is this like oculus where there has to be light on the room for use?
You can recharge the battery while using it
Finally, Apple is inviting you to these events.
👍
Talking about the battery, I thought the headset has like 5 minutes of internal battery just for this case you have to put a new one and you have like 5 minutes to do it
I was told directly by an Apple rep for the Vision Pro that it does not when I clarified if it shut down or not. So I'm going off of what I was told directly.
What happens if you plug in a battery pack (daisy chain) to the existing pack via USB?
Is it waterproof?
I can see the implementation of Apple “headstands” to wear the headset for more than 2-hrs.
Will it have cellular connectivity?
Like in the movies, a dad watching all their 3D memories of their deceased wife and/or children like all the revenge movies in Hollywood. :)
OnlyFans gonna be off the hook though.
Can you use outside the house?
Maybe the battery is left to an accessory add-on, and I’m surprised that u will need to get leases because couldn’t they use the eye sense to adapt the leases to your vision after all it is a vision pro !
Couch Potatoes will surly complain about the weight of the headset. All regular Gym Rats who regularly lift weights will build their neck muscles to easily manage the 3 - 5 lbs of extra head weight. For those are not familiar with head/neck muscle development, small light weights are typically produce amazing results (6-10 weeks).
There is no way it's that heavy.
One pound is a lot for many people, true. The human head is around 10 pounds on its own. Add a pound and you feel it. 😂
Can you attached a non-apple battery pack?
It appears that the locking connection to the headset is proprietary and the cable attachment to the battery pack is permanent - at least for now.
However the battery pack has a standard USB type C port into which you can plug in a third party battery.
“What Apple didn’t tell you and what they told me” The flex! And honestly I’m fine with that 😂
It wouldn't surprise me if we're more than a year away from a general release outside of the US. The wait for this device has been an absolute killer!
Exactly. There’s no mention except the one time Apple did that this is US only to start. So the rest of the world has to wait again. UA-camrs need to mention this too. The internet has no border (except autocratic regimes)
I am picturing a virtual set of turntables and scratching digital albums in mid air.
How is the image quality compared to a 14 MacBook Pro? When I hear awesome image quality, compared to other VR headsets? Because the existing VRs image quality sucks. 12:09
When you viewing safari? MacBook image it’s better? How much better?
When you watched Avatar was it playing in High frame rate 48fps?
Oh crap. I was wondering what happened to you after you left cnet. Nice to see you bro
You found me! Just been hustling here and making it work independently. Come on back now!
I need something that I can use all day. So the first gen probably won’t cut it. But we still have a while before release.
Since it’s called Vision Pro, I have a feeling after a year or two they got a rename it, Apple glasses pro and released a cheaper version called
Apple glasses that has the interface more so associated with the iPhone and iOS and a integrated battery pack and support for cellular data
It takes a lot of effort to trademark something globally. They put a lot of thought into the name. They’re not glasses, more like goggles. The name has a double meaning, it’s also Apple’s “vision” (concept) of computing in the future.
Then they buy out Meta’s VR dept and release a Vision Quest. 😂
*I'll tell you a secret. The apple vision pro will come with a M3 chip not the M2 chip. Apple don't want to announce the M3 chip before the iPhone 15. At the iPhone event they will announce the apple vision pro will have a M3 chip instead.*
No. Definitely not happening.
BS! iPhone 15 is not getting an M3 first of all. The iPhone uses A series chips that are mobile chips! You won’t see an M3 in the AVP until the second gen. To be honest, I don’t think it needs it! Don’t forget it has an R1 chip that handling the AR processing.
@@Aggie4life77 *I know iPhone will not get M3. The M3 is based on the A17 architecture. They always announce the new architecture with the A series chip first.*
*They will announce the apple vision pro will have a M3 chip at the same event the first M3 product is unveiled.*
@@bushgreen260 Strongly doubt that, Apple have never done a spec switcheroo like that before. It's also bad for devs if they target M2 and suddenly they get M3, they've wasted a bunch of time limiting their app to run on M2 unnecessarily.
Doubt it. There’s no precedent for them announcing a specific chip being used on a product and then changing it before release.
Probably can attach an external power bank to the battery if it needs charging. That won’t force a power down
wouldn’t ProM 10:44 otion help the battery life? due to it going all the way down to 1H and up to 120p
They have to build in a short buffer for us to swap batteries! Brian ... is that dongle for us to connect directly to a Mac Studio WITHOUT going through a standalone display?!!
Can this work with an Acer PC ? And android phone?
For me i want to get it but maybe version 2.. when it gets more refined
Maybe they could have helium filled balloon on top of your head to takeoff some of the weight? Just a thought ha ha
😅😅😅
They forgot to tell you that you'll have to pay sales tax on this new vr headset.
Right, $4,000
Maybe a two hour battery is a good thing
Even for movies
Long Movies used to have an intermission
It kinda seems healthier to take a break after two hours
We KNOW you can. It's 2023. You want to be plugged into the wall if you need more than two hours?
To be honest the battery has a usbc port so you can plug a powerbank into it
Awesome video and well I informed 👍🏼
I can only see this becoming a major game changer, and could replace the iPhone is when the device is presented as a normal pair of glasses. But, everything has a beginning.
It'd be cool if a developer made a gesture for when using a PS5 controller so it detects if you are hovering your finger above a button.
Can you wash the headband and face guard? I mean sweat, grease, oily hair etc. after 6 months ew.
They are both removable, the headband for sure. The faceguard will be tougher, maybe you wipe it down with a soapy wet cloth but that's about it. It has a bracket that connects to the Vision Pro headset, and it doesn't feel like something you can throw in the wash at all.
@@briantong thanks for that info!
