'Russia is a terrorist state rather than a state sponsor of terrorism' - Radosław Sikorski

  • 'Russia sends the death squads to Salisbury, to London, to Berlin and other places, and it is Russian planes and Russian rockets that are hitting civilian targets in Ukraine, which is the other definition of terrorism. To my mind Russia is a terrorist state rather than a state sponsor of terrorism' - Radosław Sikorski, member of the European Parliament from Poland said in an interview with the UATV.
The existence of the European Union depends on a fundamental lesson that Europeans have drawn from the World War II.

Hi thanks for this interview with Radostaw Sikorski, who’s a member of the European Parliament from Poland 🇵🇱 he’d rather frank answers at times, but at least he was very direct from his “position” and what I mean by that is that he spoke in such clear ways that (in my opinion) no one have to “read between the lines” he’s “unapologetic” in a way I haven’t decided what to think of, but the majority of what he said was good and a lesser extent wasn’t as good. But I at least appreciate when politicians use normal words so normal people are able to understand.
Most politicians spin a web of nonsensical words, that’s either flat out lies or at best half truth’s. Mr Sikorski was speaking *his mind* & 1. I feel I can trust what he said, even though I don’t necessarily agree with everything, and 2. I hope he have the support of his political party.
With kindness, respect, positivity, prayers and love, Grace ♥️🕯️🕊️🐾

What a superb interview! The best I've seen in a few years! So far as I'm aware, we in the UK do understand the situation, care deeply about it, and wish to heck we were somehow able to end this dreadful war sooner rather than later. If only it were as simple as European nations deciding to send military units into Ukraine to directly help eject the Russian military from Ukrainian soil. I understand why it's not that simple, but it angers me that we can't do so anyway - and I think a lot of people here feel like that. Slava Ukraini! Heroyam slava!

Hope to see Ukraine stop teaching Rusian language at school, churches, academies...The polistical systems build the cultures, the cultures build men and make them who they are through how they think and what they choose. Disconnect on language will cause disconnect in culture, then change the way people think, choose, and act. Hope to see Ukraine choose English for second official language.

A very good interview. Intelligent people, intelligent questions and answers. However, for the EU representative to suggest, for a country ravaged by war seeking future protection and progress by obtaining membership of the EU, there will be no accommodation for the particular circumstances of Ukraine and that their rules will be a ‘take it or leave it’ option merely highlights the inflexibility of the whole EU project. The idea that the EU removes/replaces ‘Nationalism’ is seemingly false. It simply becomes EU ‘Nationalism’ once the EU project realises its goal of becoming a single state. You just need to examine now how the EU adopts a demeaning and somewhat patronising attitude to non-member states.
