I'm 23 and I'm still obsessed with this series. As well as being beautifully written and shot, I think it's a wonderful metaphor for coming of age, for what makes us human, or not. I'll never tire of it! Thank you for this beautiful edit, with that unspeakable music !
This song could be about so many things, and that's what's so beautiful about it. Some interpretations of it are; the repeating cycle of violence and hate in our human condition and the doomed to repeat history, a dark love song about a toxic but intimately passionate relationship, about a man struggling to cope with his sins and mistakes, a suicide note that you can't ever seem to to get rid of but keep fighting to live anyways, a calm and collected insanity, and finally a song about the struggles of the everyday slog of life that we can't seem to break free of because we give up snd surrender to it.
Thank you! I adore Michael Malarkey's music and Scars is my favorite song, but with this video you make a masterpiece, because you choose the most important moments of TVD in one video. IS AMAZING!!!
