God an A303, it's won skeet competitions in the 80s by my dad, I've shot it loads, it's bulletproof. The only thing is it would do with a nice recoil pad, the bacolite one is a bit tough sometimes!
I just bought my first semi auto, a new Beretta A400, am very impressed with it. The only negative is after spending almost £1600 it comes in just a cardboard box. If you want s plastics case you have to buy that separately.
All great guns David, shot them all over the years with the Urika being top of the list...just purchased an Outlander 28" silver and wood 2 weeks ago and have to say its equally as good for the money! May not look as nice as an Urika but if you can break clays with it what's not to like. Cheers.
if i could justify another semi auto it would be a 391 there fantastic guns if i remember rightly they did a 391 gold with a golden pheasant on that was always the gun i aspired to own when i was growing up
Another option for anyone interested in the older 301, 302 and 303 guns would be the Browning B80. Beretta paid Browning to use the operating system from the B80 in the 301-303. So the B80 is another option. I have one that has a Beretta made barre and it's marked Browning and Beretta . They may require heavier game cartridges to work the action. I would recommend trying one first and many are only fixed choke barrels, but it is an option.
Brought a 302 and 303 pat year purely as used a 301 and 303 eve. I was a kid up to the age of 18 (old man’s) when the chance for 2 in good condition came up jumped at chance wouldn’t have anything else
Hi I recently purchased a Browning citori sporter. As I know very little about shotguns can you please tell me more of where it fits in the range of Browning shotguns?
Just bought an old rough 391 shot it today and recycled 21gram cartridges, my a400 excel sometimes struggles with 24 gram Good video think you are becoming a Beretta man Ha Ha
Commenting from the US - I have an early Beretta semi auto model 1200 nice wood stock, nice blueing (before the ones sold here had plastic stocks). Wondering if you guys have ever seen these in the UK. Purchased new from Graf & Sons, Mexico, MO in the mid 80s by a co worker who I bought it from. Beretta USA won't talk to me about this gun, just sent me a manual for the police version. From what I understand it was made by Benelli for Beretta. Benelli USA doesn't know anything about it either, as when it was sold the only Benellis sold in the US were imported by H&K. Supposedly some Montefeltro parts interchange. 2 3/4 chamber 12 ga MOD choke but it patterns like a IM. I took it to a backyard farm/ranch BBQ/Trap shoot & we put over 1200 rounds thru it & it just kept going with no failures. Everyone wanted to shoot it. Around 7 lb & swings nicely. My only complaint is the stock is a bit short for me (LOP 14 1/2") & I shot a dove with it once & with that choke the dove vaporized. I really wish it had multichokes.
Never shot well with the 303, it’s a legend but never worked for me. The AL391 is a better gun I think, shot a lot of pigeons with one of these, then I discovered Benelli............had a Vinci against gun shop advice, absolutely brilliant gun, just wish it was an Amazonia green one, I’d of kept it for sure, then had a M2 Comfortech on gun shop advice, not so good, jammed a lot, lost complete faith in it, sold it.
Yes you can safely shoot standard steel through them but not high performance steel loads.... I have a A302 and use Gambore Supersteel # 4 with improved cyclinder choke
*Comments regarding U.K. government overreach with regards to firearm confiscation, ownership and registration have been withheld.* My comment for this video is simple: 2:55 WHAT THE HELL DUDE!?!? Please never look down the barrels like that again! This is one of the major problem caused by guns being hard to possess, experience in handling them is harder to acquire and thus mistakes are made more frequently....nothing happened this time, so all's well that ends well....just please don't ever do that again...
I bought the 391 about two and a half decades ago; never cleaned it, it just keeps running. Never been disappointed.
It seems that semi-autos are becoming more popular in the UK like here in the US. great video!

Just brought my first shotgun. A 303 in near mint condition. Hope your review is spot on!
A personal note ..I think the 303 and 304 were the best gas operated semi autos ever made.
In my opinion the Beretta 390 is the best semi ever made followed by the 391, both much better in 20ga!

Yes that’s the new normal for Beretta & Browning. That I’m aware of!
Thank you again David yes semi autos seems to be coming very popular even on the clay scene.
A400 excel 12 and 20 love them all I have ever used on sporting clays

Higher in the comb? should have mentioned the drop can be altered, easier on the 391 though 👍
In my opinion the best 2 are the beretta 300 and the 390🔝🔝❤️❤️
Here in USA I just bought a used 391 Urika 2 for $995 US. It’s awesome and way less than a new A400!
Great stuff , thanks David 👍👍

Just bought a ES100. its a fantastic shooter

The 303 is a awesome shotgun !!!!!!!
Hello TSC, I have a Remington 1187 and it is a brilliant bit of kit.
What is a brilliant bit of kit?
More semi auto reviews please 🤩🤩🤩
Another great video david

I hawe 301 with fix choke, and work's perfect 👌

Why does everyone I see turn it upside down to load, I have the 391 and don't turn it upside to load or is it just me...
Great review.
I like the idea of semi auto. But it’s just a pain to be digging the spent cartridges out of the bushes when you have finished
I have the 300, 301 , 302 and 303 Beretta semi- autos. I would like to ask if steel shot could be shot through their barrels please ?. Thank- you.

There are but few and far between!
All the clay grounds I have shot at state one in the breech and ONLY one in the magazine...
