Chinese President Xi Jinping met with foreign guests at the commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the National People's Congress' affiliation with the Inter-Parliamentary Union, an international organization of parliaments, in Beijing on Tuesday. He said that China is willing to work with other countries to turn our shared planet into a harmonious global family.
