I went the other route: just one Display, the ASD, with my MacBook in clamshell mode. (iPad basically tucked away). Multiple desktops, trackpad on my left hand, mouse on my right one. Constantly swiping in between desktops easily with the trackpad. Loving it so much I’m considering ditching the MacBook for a Mac Mini
Love it! I’ll rearrange my setup, but w/monitor arm - prefer full screen compartmentalization view per device vs. distractions from arranging things on a larger display - seems more productive. Once mini 7 arrives, I’ll have the same devices but with the lesser M2 13-inch iPad. Considering M4 OLED - the M2 Air can dim inside, the M1 Pro it replaced never did! Taking notes w/pencil is my key app as a student.
This is unrelated to the topic of multi-screen setup: I use magic trackpad with the magic mouse. My left hand is on the track pad and my mouse with my right. It seems a superfluous set up (and it is) but i like how i can move cursor in long distance with the trackpad while the mouse is primarily my click and holder. It saves my one hand from having to click and hold while trying to move objects across. Plus, the trackpad requires less desk real estate for the mouse. Less hand fatigue means more productivity.
Hello! I love your Setup! I often visit the orchid. I just cannot get enough.... but May I ask. what is the brand for docking station. please and thank you!
@@Dailytekk How's the HM Cosm working for you? I really wanted that Chair but the salesman told me that it's not that versatile since it has no adjustments at all. I ended up getting an Aeron even though I didn't wanted because like you said, everybody has it.
I love your videos. I am new and I should know this. How do you control your ipad pro? With a pencil, finger or one of the keyboards? Looks like your laptop keyboard controls the laptop, but where does the signal go from the keyboard on the desk? I am sure I should know all this. I expected to see a mac mini powering all this going to that fancy hub. Once again you are an inspiration.
Am I getting cynic in thinking, he doesn't have any specific mention of the products and no links in the description, so that people comment "what brand is xy?", "what is ab?", because engagement? 😐
I can't do more than 1 screen. Never looks good aesthetically. Too many places drawing your attention. 5 is crazy.
They never ever look good! Utilitarian sure!

I’ve done a Mac Mini/iPad Pro/Macbook Pro, all with screen sharing and/or just universal control. Makes life a million times easier.

Great video! You need a Herman Miller Aeron chair! Well worth the money and a game changer!
It’s a HM… I like the Aeron I just don’t get it cause it seems like EVERYONE has one… probably should’ve just gotten it though
