Have seen and enjoyed ALL Charlie Chan movies, the three actors who portrayed Chan do well. These are mystery who done it. NOT comedy slapstick. Moreland doesn't enter until '44. We also had Snowshoes, in Egypt. It's best when Chan himself adds a touch of levity. There are 50 Chan movies to enjoy, even an attempt to revive with Ross Martin. "Life's longest journey begins with one step"...😊
I know this is an old film but i fail to see why black people are shown as stupid and lower class, i suppose that is how they were thought to be. However i think it is wrong.
I loved, loved, Charlie Chan when I was a kid. Am enjoying them as much as ever. I'm in my eighties, now.
