If Coral dint died, I can imagine her getting along with Dory, yeah Dory is forgetful and Coral seemed smarter, but something about them that gives me BFFs vibe.
I can't only imagine how things would have been if Coral had been the survivor. Would she have become overportective like her husband or would she know better than that?
Matt I. I feel like the only reason he was overprotective was because of the death of coral and the other children. Otherwise he probably would’ve been fine.
Nah a Coral would be like a protective, patient and understanding older sister to and her more scatterbrained character. I imagine she'd even help Marlin get over some of her seemingly annoying antics when he's at his wits end.
I am actually happy that many of her kids died. Yes, i know what you are going to say. What!? You are savage! But, i got a point. How the hell are they going to raise and feed 400 kids!!?

I'm so glad you picked this scene, Isaac! It's so impactful and yet rarely talked about. Finding Nemo is still one of my favorite Pixar films. Definitely one of the most beautiful!
Plot twist : Coral cheated on Merlin with the barracuda and he didn’t actually eat her and her children but Coral took the eggs and abandoned Merlin and started a new life with the barracuda
Anybody else hoping for a relationship like Marlins and Corals? Because I am.. Except you know.. The death part. But Coral really hit me hard when I was younger, I loved her even in those 5 minutes. Swim on Coral 😚❤
Coral will forever be one of the most memorable Pixar moms. She is brave, strong, and loving all within that 5 minutes, and she lives through Nemo throughout the film.♡🐟
She might be alive. She might of got knocked unconscious or the baracude might of hit his head and swum away. theirs a small chance that she didnt die.
Oh my gosh, I have to up my shelf game! Everyone on this playlist has such great backgrounds for filming! And, nice breakdown of Coral, she definitely has a much bigger presence in my memory too.
my favorite Pixar moment is when we get to hear hector singing remember me to coco because it showcases the song's true meaning and is just such a beautiful moment.
I wouldn't mind if there was another Nemo movie where they find Coral and she's also saved one baby who she named Marlin Jr because that's the name he liked. She assumed Marlin had been killed with the babies as she couldn't find him, chasing after the barracuda one egg drops from the corner of its mouth. She already believes there is nothing left for her at the drop off and makes a new life with baby Marlin Jr. Maybe the movie could start because Dory mistakes Marlin Jr to be Nemo, Marlin Jr takes pity on her being obviously confused and takes her to Coral, which only confuses Dory more. The movie focuses more on Coral and Marlin Jr trying to take Dory back to the drop off, but Coral has a lot of bad memories and is hesitant. Periodically we can jump to the other characters who don't realise Dory has wandered off because they're busy planning a surprise party or whatever, then it jumps back to Coral and Marlin Jr trying to take Dory home.
I would definitely love for there to be a third movie like this. Finding Coral could be a good title for this plot. I have another plot idea where it's MARLIN that goes missing instead of Dory or Nemo (since Finding Dory has already been a thing, so Finding Marlin?), and Marlin ends up encountering Coral out beyond the reef.
@@taylorslade8080 and if they did make a 3rd movie I presume it would be about marlin searching for Coral but also seeking revenge on the damm barracuda

With toy story 4, Pixar is opening up a whole new can of worms. We've seen battery powered toys go dormant, we've seen stuffed animals alive without any source of power, and now we're seeing a pseudo-life so to speak. Toy Story 3 should have been the end of the franchise.
I can't help but feel like the only real reason they made the 4th one was to give some form of closure on what became of Bo Peep and why she disappeared. But i agree. The third one was perfect

I find it completely sad that Coral sacrifices herself to protect the eggs and Nemo never sees her mother.🐠 I wish I could share my Pixar moment to this playlist you mentioned, but I don’t know how to do that.

I have above and beyond way too many favorite Pixar scenes, but the one I can think of at the moment is in Coco, when Miguel sings Remember Me to Mama Coco. The film came out the year my nana passed away, and that scene really touched my heart. In fact, it reminded me, and still reminds me, of the last time I got to speak with her, as amidst all of the nurses and family members running in and out and fretting and rushing, I was the first person she opened her eyes to, and I was the last person she spoke with coherently before she passed away that night. She asked me if I finished my “big essay” (I was writing my undergrad thesis at the time, and finished it just a few days before that), which told me that, in that rare moment, she was actually aware of who I was and her surroundings. I told her I finished it, and spent the rest of the time weeping and telling her how much I loved her. The sort of stupor she was in, is similar to how i saw Mama Coco was like in that scene, and amidst all the other family members Miguel was the one who managed to bring her back, even for just what was probably a brief moment. I know it served the purpose of saving Hector from the Final Death, but I still find that moment really, incredibly relatable.
Hey, it’s okay :) she lived an amazing and long life (on July 20th of this year she would actually be 100, if she were still with us). I miss her dearly, but she was tired and in pain, so I wouldn’t want her to suffer that longer than she had to. It’s hard, but I handle it by not focusing on the experiences I can’t have with her, but rather the ones that I did have.
This video really knocked it out of the park! I really love the integration of how long the scene are character last in the film and why that makes Coral such a stand out character. We learn everything we need to know about her in 5 minutes. Also I traded up a little while watching this so.....there’s that. -Josh
Unfortunately, there's a very good chance if they'd just gone into the amenity, even if the barracuda had eaten it's fill, a few of the eggs would have survived and even if none of them had, they could always have started over. Dying really didn't do any good... Also, if she'd really wanted to give her life to protect the eggs, she should have swam away from the nest as fast as she could, not downwards right towards it, drawing all the attention to the nest which might have otherwise been overlooked.
i have to agree, she panicked and make a terrible decision that tragically got most of her children killed, as well as her self. It's really sad when you think about it.
My favorite Pixar movie is Big Hero 6 (No, not because of KH3 either). I loved the sibling love between Hiro and Tadashi and how Tadashi made Hiro realize he could do more with his talent beside causing trouble. It broke my heart to see Tadashi taken out so early in the movie but it boosted Hiro's character development making him a loveable person in the movie.
I personally have two possible headcanons regarding Marlin and Coral's genders: 1. Fish in the Disney universe have a set gender at birth like humans do; or 2. Marlin and Coral each have permanently locked genders from birth due to a very rare mutation, which makes them oddballs among clownfish, and in part they bonded over this. Obviously, they passed this onto Nemo.
I think it'd be very nice if they ended the Nemo franchise with "Finding Marlin" just like how they did with Nemo and Dory. Like, maybe Marlin goes through an adventure going through the struggles of losing his love and his other kids.

Thank you for sharing this not so talked about and underrated scene !! The best scene hands down, but also the saddest and even more so in my adulthood than in my childhood. My anxiety is on high right now and as I watch Finding Nemo (right now after the 100th time) I’m regretting not skipping the scene altogether 😞💯
I still think the most ironic thing about finding Nemo is Nemo name. Given if you read Julis Vern 2000 leagus Under the sea Captian Nemo chose his name because in Latin means Nobody so they are tyring to find "Nobody. So that what I find ironic about the title.

My question is, did Nemo EVER consider asking about the whereabouts of his mother? Or considering he ever had one. I hope they make a prequel about Marlin and Coral, or a sequel where marlin starts to think about her for a while then ends up having a new wife. I know that’s a bad explanation but I’m being lazy LOL.
Fun Fact: Clownfish communities are matriarchal. The male clownfish do care for the babies, so this movie was actually really fitting. EDIT: Male clownfish also are responsible for finding suitable homes, places to lay eggs, and other tasks and chores. So when he said, "Did your man deliver?", he did. :)

Oh I’m so sorry for your loss 😞
Hey, it’s okay :) she lived an amazing and long life (on July 20th of this year she would actually be 100, if she were still with us). I miss her dearly, but she was tired and in pain, so I wouldn’t want her to suffer that longer than she had to. It’s hard, but I handle it by not focusing on the experiences I can’t have with her, but rather the ones that I did have.
☺️
I know it sounds weird, but I have always loved how Coral sounds with an american accent 😂
Jesus that deleted scene was dark. The fact that they showed the barracuda eating the eggs was just disturbing.
Mufasa from lion king was amazing in guiding and protecting simba
My favorite Pixar movie is Big Hero 6 (No, not because of KH3 either). I loved the sibling love between Hiro and Tadashi and how Tadashi made Hiro realize he could do more with his talent beside causing trouble. It broke my heart to see Tadashi taken out so early in the movie but it boosted Hiro's character development making him a loveable person in the movie.
Marlin and Coral the original Carl and Ellie also 🐠
I personally have two possible headcanons regarding Marlin and Coral's genders:
1. Fish in the Disney universe have a set gender at birth like humans do; or
2. Marlin and Coral each have permanently locked genders from birth due to a very rare mutation, which makes them oddballs among clownfish, and in part they bonded over this.
Obviously, they passed this onto Nemo.
Male and female?
I don't know much about fish but do they not have a set gender? I'm honestly interested now.
@@outtathepantry I think some marine animals can switch depending on what's needed?
My favourite character is Mufasa and I miss him
YES!!! Mufasa was such a wise king he didnt have too die thats is why i hate scar
I think it'd be very nice if they ended the Nemo franchise with "Finding Marlin" just like how they did with Nemo and Dory. Like, maybe Marlin goes through an adventure going through the struggles of losing his love and his other kids.
Hwo did the filmakers make him believe that bolt is a real Superdog?
I KNOW RIGHT???? I'VE BEEN WONDERING ABOUT THAT MY ENTIRE LIFE, IT LITERALLY MAKES ZERO SENSE.
@@mimah1015 Please don't bring your criticisms to Disney themselfs they might, make a live action remake with zero effort, extra hours, useless padding and extra elements, expositional meta dialouge and so fourth., Besides like cinderella becoming a servant we don't need to see every detail especially because it's purpousefully veague so we whould draw our own conclusion. Heck sometimes i used to be trapped in Tv so mutch that when it's turned off i vase literally lost!(so i personally can relate to Bolt, Im now just suprised there's people who kew what bolt is!)
@ Excuse, me why you trippin? I loved the movie as a kid and I still do now. I just wanted to point out the fact that as I got older the whole concept of the movie made no sense at all, just like Buzz light-year claiming to not be a toy but a real person then freezing like one whenever humans were around. Mistakes can be pointed out. No need to go all psycho on me.
I did watch almost all the Pixar films, but I never pay attention to the message of the films is given to my young head. However the two Pixar moments that I remember is when Jessie have her flash back when she use to play with Emily before being abandoned and when Wall E.was showing Eve the wonder of the polluted Earth when Eve was stationary.
Finally👏👏👏👏
Thanx for making this video
I'm still crying omg my childhood movies were dark
This is an awesome video Issac 😁 I'm happy you did this 🌞
That barracuda scene scared the hell out of me as a kid
Coral is definitely a great mama!!!
Wow. The children screaming really sounds like a creepypasta
I think I know why the barracuda eating the eggs onscreen would be too horrifying for kids to handle
She was his life and joy also my favorite pixar moment is coco singing remember me to his grandmother
It was impactful her death but was not in vain
I miss Coral
(Pats back) There. There. It's okay. Shhhhh, it's going to be alright.
But your aim is getting better!
I'm sad, that Coral and her eggs died. If she would've been alive, she would've been such a great mom.
yeah she would be great mom😔
She's not die. Marlin hasn't turn into female now.
🐠 Thank you for talking about this movie
*sees video title*
coral is dead
*sees time is eleven minutes*
Well frick frack I guess not
Well this is my fav movie and why,
🐕 BOLT!
So it takes on the saying”your life is a lie” when bolt thinks he saves his owner penny many times from dr.calico, until he escapes trying to attack the
Hench-cats of dr.calico, he gets sent somewhere when he falls in a box of styrofoam and runs off afterwards and gets his head stuck in a fence, after the pigeons help him and bring him to the bossy tuxedo cat named mittens, and after he makes mittens help him get home, an he had realized he isn’t the super-dog he thought he was, and meeting the feisty hamster rhino they go home for good with no more movies, rhino mittens and bolt live with penny! Idk why but I love this movie so much! It’s amazing and if no ones seen it, I highly suggest you do! It’s on Netflix and other platforms! Stay pawsome

Realizing death as a kid from a cartoon movie is just... Damn.

CAN YOU DO A VIDEO CALLED" EVERYTHING WE KNOW ABOUT MIKE AND CELIAS RELATIONSHIP , OR EVERYTHING WE KNOW ABOUT LONNIE FROM DESCENDANTS
Favorite character who only appeared for a short time? That would have to be Sour Bill. And I'd love to see an analysis on him since we only ever see him serving King Candy. Was he always the way he is?
RIP beautiful Coral. 💔
