    It's acceptable that the stones can still effect Ultron himself and, given a deal of creativity, still makes him extremely dangerous. Theoretically, this means he can alter his own personal reality, his own personal timeline, enhance his own power, enhance his own mental framework, project his consciousness, the ability to change his density and form, among others.
    This means Ultron can theoretically will away any damage he receives, protect his mind and enhance his thinking power, possibly distort his personal spacial reality (change his size and shape).
    That said there is a flaw in this in that it means he has an ability he theoretically should not have - the ability to open portals to other dimensions. Unless, of course, he can open those portals anytime as long as they pass through his dimension first, which would mean that he can only ever open a portal directly to another dimension as long as he is in his home dimension -- otherwise, to travel from universe to universe would require him to create a bridge through his home universe, though that is just theory crafting.

    • @aedwardsss
      @aedwardsss 2 роки тому +17

      I love this flaw you created, and it could be how to defeat him. If he must pass through his own universe, then the upload could start and stop each time he tries to go to another universe. That could also be why he seems “slower” to arrive when he is trying to follow the Watcher

      If we're using the Comic rule about the Infinity Stones and not from the MCU... Then Ultron can bring his universe into another universe, kind of like a suit of armor.
      As for entering other universes, it's rather simple to shatter the walls of the universe Ultron controls and vise versa. However, entering the multiverse requires a few safeguards if Ultron wants to do so without losing his Infinity Stones.
      Granted... Ultron also has access to Magic, as Galactus has explained in the comics. Among other things that are not higher dimensional.

    • @MetalHanyou1
      @MetalHanyou1 2 роки тому +3

      @@absolstoryoffiction6615 But even if he did this, Ultron could only effect the things he brought into the universe - he still can't effect the universe at large with the power of the stones, so he can't do things like the snap, he can't warp planets, etc. That said if he can do this it would still make him immensely powerful as he could, say, warp an entire planet from his universe into another one, challenge heroes and force them to fight him on said planet, then when all the heroes have arrived, simply warp the planet away - atmosphere and all - and leave them to die in the void of space.

    I always thought that the stones in loki stopped working because their timeline was destroyed. No universe to draw power from, so no power to get from them. So I can see this going hand in hand with that theory. If the universe where they come from still exists then even though they may not be able to manipulate other universes, they can still get power from their home universe.

    • @Chrisiskewl100
      @Chrisiskewl100 2 роки тому +7

      @@jonathansauceda589 I can get why magic wouldn't work in the tva, because Thor explained that magic is just science for a more advanced species, but the stones aren't really magic or science. Take Thanos' quest and the living tribunal for example. The living tribunal is an extremely powerful being and could have easily stopped Thanos, and the living tribunal even confronted him in the comics, but he didnt stop Thanos because the living tribunal only stops those who aquire too much magical power, like doctor strange or the Scarlett witch, and use that to disturb the natural order of things. Which means that the stones aren't magic based, and by extension not science based. They are the physical manifestations of the properties of the universe and are as old as time itself. They are the "sandbox tools" of the universe if you will. Made alongside the universe and the science and magic that go with it, and not made from the universe and the science and magic within.

      @@jonathansauceda589 as long as the stones' "source code" still exists, or the universe that they're paired to still exists, then the stones should still have power even though they can't manipulate anything in another universe, since the " game code" of this new universe isn't compatible with command codes of the stones of another universe. The power is still there, but the functionality is severely limited. Where as if you delete the source code, then the sandbox tool is just a random line of code that does nothing. @@canceled6041 The animation has the Eye of Agamotto open up as the time-stone reveals itself as a pretty clear indication as to what is being used to stop Ultron's time control here.
      Similarly when Ultron collapsed the mountain on the heroes he's using the Reality, Power and Soul Stones to make the mountain collapse.
      Then again later Erik Killmonger was using them (without instantly dying from gamma poisoning) under the notion he could repair or fix everyone's reality.
      And to be fair, its not like Hickman was THAT consistent with the rule that "they only work in their universe" rule and he's the one who made it a mainstream concept (outside DC V Marvel). Doctor Doom was using two Infinity Gauntlets to reshape a dead reality in Future Foundation and in Secret Wars Black Panther was able to fight God Doom across Battleworld simply because Doctor Strange had built his castle on a slice of Battleworld that had the completed Gauntlet and from there T'Challa immediately could use it all over Battleworld.
      Eitherway, generally the stones don't work at all outside their native reality, so the series seems to be retconning or "establishing" very different rules for them for the MCU.

Also also seeing as his origin showed his utter control over the stone (not over time itself though) it would make sense that it had been altered enough to enable it to work in different universes. And lastly to sum it up a bit, the stone is boosting the mystical entity’s and letting him counter the other time stone, it is not the stone directly doing it.

I don't believe his reality hopping abilities come from the stones, but from the fact that he was able to break into uatu's dimension and gain his powers. To me it makes sense that he could be as strong as portrayed in other universes using the stones to empower himself, but buy that logic he would be at his strongest in his own universe, granting him the ability to break into the watchers' dimension. In Secret wars 2015, Black panther was able to use an infinity gauntlet with stones from different realities. He is not able to use them all at the sametime but is still able to use the gauntlet. And the gauntlet is only functional in specific locations in Battle world. So it could be that ultron is only using the stones 1 or 2 at a time and not all 6.

      @@jaceh4942 Lmao the fuck are you talking about? Sounds like you aren't paying attention my dude.
      The infinity stones used in Endgame were from the SAME timeline, just from the past. Same universe, different time. By removing the stones, it would cause a branch reality where they cause problems because they do not exist (Explained in Avengers Endgame). The infinity stones work in their singular universe due to the fact that they are aspects of the universe they were created in (Explained in Infinity war and Guardians of the Galaxy). The reason why the stones do not work in the TVA is due to the fact that the TVA exists outside of reality, AKA, the Quantum Realm (Explained in the Loki TV Show). This is supported by the fact that Antman was inside of the Quantum Realm when the snap happened but since he was outside of the main MCU reality, he was unaffected by the stones (Explained in Avengers Endgame). So that being said, when the stones are brought to the TVA, they are disconnected from the Timeline that gives them power. This is essentially the same as pulling the battery out of a car. Without it's power source, it is useless. If they were brought back into the timeline they came from, they would be powered again. However, it must be the same timeline. Which means, ALL of the stones seen in the Loki TV show are from the Main MCU timeline, AKA the "sacred" timeline. They are all the same stone due to being from the same timeline. The TVA has ZERO "Antimagic" tech. That's what people would assume if they weren't paying attention to all of the detail they put into all of these TV shows and Movies.

Nothing in the movies suggests that to be the case. And did you watch Loki? They straight up said that the TVA has anti-magic tech. Kang created it.
      And it sounds like you didn't pay attention in Endgame lol. Doing literally anything in the past creates a new timeline. The very second the Avengers showed up in "the past", those became new timelines. This is why nothing they did in those "pasts" had an effect on their present, because they're all different timelines. It has no effect on them.
      Plus, the variant Loki we got in the Loki series WAS FROM one of the branched timelines in Endgame, confirming that all the places they went in endgame were branches.
      Sure, Captain America went back and "closed" the branches by returning the stones or whatever, but for one, they were still separate branches while they were being used, so during the events of Endgame those stones belonged to different timelines, and two, if we want to talk plot holes we should discuss that, because that is the thing that makes no sense lol. Returning the stones shouldn't get rid of the branches. Those timelines still have different pasts. Even if their futures all end up converging, they are still slightly different timelines. No matter how similar they are, they are still alternate universes where slightly different events happened in the past. There's a universe where a 2nd set of Avengers showed up in NYC for a few minutes (that didn't happen in the main timeline). There's a universe where Redskull met Nat and Clint (that also didn't happen in the main MCU timeline). There's a universe that Thanos abandons (he came to the main MCU universe where he died). Cap didn't magically didn't fix all that by returning the stones. There are still a lot of branches.
      Plus, even if returning the stones to their timelines somehow erases everything they did (which it shouldn't because that's dumb), we still had at least two branched timelines at the end of the movie, which are timelines that the avengers took stones from. One stone from Loki's branch was used in the main MCU timeline, and one stone from the branch where Cap stayed with Peggy was used in the main MCU timeline.

    I don't understand why people mix "Time line" and "universe (multiverse)". They are two different things. One happens in the same universe that then split trough a decision, so if you go back far enough in time, every timeline will converge to one, so technically all stones can work in all time lines since every time line is the same. And the other one is a completely different universe with a different beginning, completely independent of all other universes. However since there is an infinity of universes, events that happen in a time line can happen in a universe too, so it would be impossible to differentiate a time line from a universe.
    The MCU uses time lines instead of universes (so one beginning) while marvel comics uses universes (and sometimes time lines, but mostly universes). Hence why the stones can't work outside in one and in the other they can.

    • @levels1937
      @levels1937 2 роки тому +1

      People get mixed up mostly because they have mixed the two concepts up in the shows so far starting mostly with Loki. They imply deviant timelines from the sacred timeline lead to a multiverse. In Dr Strange 1 it is implied hidden “dimensions” form a multiverse. They have yet to clearly state what type of multiverse the What if series is in. Most people take for granted it is the one formed by Loki but that may not be the case. Also in the Dr Strange episode The Ancient One splits the time line of that universe. Making it seem like they are considering them different concepts again.
      Personally I think they will hopefully clear this up soon hopefully because unlike what most people think I believe the Dr Strange\SpiderMan Multiverse stuff will be actual multiverse related. While the Kang\Quantumania stuff will be timeline quantum many worlds based. I think they are meant to be two different storylines. The only caveat is that Loki and Sylvie are supposed to be in Dr Strange 2. So it is quite the mess they are creating.

    You still have the matter of just how much power Ultron can be a conduit for. The blast is still very powerful and the energy should affect his structure even as they destroyed things the power hit.

    My thoughts were this: Ultron BECAME his native universe. There by circumventing the issue entirely of having to be in the universe by having it be in him. Since universes are ever expanding, he could technically exert force on things beyond him by simply expanding his influence. The reason he couldn't do nuts stuff beyond that was because doing so sacrifices some of the universe within him to do so, almost like expending energy he sacrifices a bit of the universes "growth".
    The reason he was able to beat the watcher was because at that point Ultron was more like a prepubescent beyonder than just some guy with the stones. with the power of an entire universe baring down on him, the watcher just couldn't make it happen. But Ultrons real weakness was that he was a three dimensional being, while the watcher is more akin to a 4th dimensional one. I want to say it's like fighting a T-rex who only recently grew proportionally sized human arms. It'd be strong and you probably can't beat it, but it doesn't know how to use them and you can take advantage of that. (which is why in jurassic park the fact the raptors could open doors was the scary part.)
    Uatu could see time as a "distance" and thus new of how he could beat Ultron as long as Ultron didn't know how to percieve time beyond the moment to moment, which he couldn't do because his powers were only limited to how far he could project his universe beyond his body. Stuff like blowing up the galaxy, destroying a planet, and fighting strange probably required him to project really far, thus taking a lot out of him. (Fighting strange was likely draining him insanely fast too but he was confident enough he'd win that he was willing to take the bet.)
    TL;DR Ultron had the power advantage because he WAS his universe and thus could manifest the entirety of his power as long as it was in a certain proximity. But Uatu had the strategic advantage because he had far greater experience in how time and space functioned as a whole, thus why his strategy here worked.

    I think stones definitely CAN be used outside of their original timeline, since this is the entire plot of Endgame. None of the stones that Banner/Hulk and Tony used were from their original timeline, but they still affected the whole universe.
    Within the MCU continuity though, I'm still pretty unclear on the distinction between timeline/universe, and universe/dimension.

    If the man can make an army in his universe, and bring them to another, he could 100% imbue his armor with extreme cosmic power, before even thinking about visiting other universes. I don't think it's that he can use his stones in other universes, but that, he was simply prepared to be robbed of them or their power.

    Technically speaking, all he would have to do is gaze into each universe and timeline at points in where the stones are located. Split himself into 6 clones enter at all six points and then bring all stones together in that universe. Endgame did it on a smaller scale with their time heist.

    How you can be the most powerful thing in existence
    1) go to 10 time lines get all of the stones
    2) get metal from every time-line melt them into one body
    3) add all 60 stones to your body
    4) you now have the power of 60 stones that you can power yourself with
