I even mentioned to my husband today about Tammy and David and whether they rode it out or were they thrifting in calm weather somewhere else. Knowing that they are safe is a blessing, but I truly hope that she was able to retrieve her photo albums.

How horribly devastating!! I’ve been thinking of them lately, on account of the hurricane Beryl. Then just watching you on your video, I thought, oh, oh… Only to find out about the house fire. I am glad to hear that everyone has been spared physical harm. But that doesn’t negate the mental/emotional anguish. Just so much to process. We will all be thinking of David, Tammy and their family.

The firemen knew my parents and saved 2 photo albums and 2 boxes of photos. That was all they could save. But, such treasures. But lost things from both sets greatgrand parents. But we still have our memories if we talk about them. Lots of prayers.

This is the season for fires. At least in TX. I'm in north central and out in the country. There is a housing development just north of us and there was a fire there, seems like they were barbaqueing in the garage and they had changed the oil in there awhile ago, and the oil in the concrete caught fire. Take awhile for the firemen to get out this way too. Praying for the family.
