Smart move porting the disappearing and rarely watched Twitch streams over to permanent YT, and kudos for fixing the volume of the dev's voice (or lack of it).
you should add a secondary scrolling notifications window off to the side of the screen. one that allows for most notifications to scroll by without notifying the player directly. the biggest problem i have with this game and DWU is the constant notification spam even with most notification types turned off. the player should have the ability to categorize notification types in the scrolling window, maybe with different colored text depending on the type of notification, or categorize them as popups as the current system stands. as well as turning off some types of notifications that the player finds they dont need. for instance when your ships or bases get attacked it would show up in the scrolling window in red. friendly faction interactions could get color coded white, and interfaction notifications could be categorized blue.
Looking good so far but one gripe. PLEASE tell me the beam sound for the rift striders is a temp thing. The beam sound for gravilex is incredibly annoying and I never spectate fleets taking them out.
This is cool. I have been watching the progress of this game for a while. I started playing with DW1 just to experience the "full" experience and enjoy it a lot. Gona buy this, seems like its getting very polish and will continue to be polished.❤
i love the build up to the invasion it remind me a lot of the shadows in babylon 5 like everything else in this game. i think the only thing i do want in this game is an internal front . i dont to hand rebels and separatists and traitors
please add timestamps or chapters. maybe in a pinned comment or in the description. it´s not easy to look for the features you want to see if you don´t have much time. i just watched it anyways though =)
Can we pleasw get rid of the drunk trait every game i play every character i have is a drunk, even when im keeping them busy.also added end game before you added all the races.
your doing it wrong! take one look at this game and tell me how do you continue in this direction, its shocking no, i wont buy a dlc at this stage I SEE NO IMPROVEMENT!! awful awful awful gui, ui/ everything in this build still!!!!!!! stop and go back to DWU NOW (my negativity is like 80% locked in now at this rate)
@@Corusame Sure i'll try but i could go on forever, i'll focus on the simple, like the UI being horrific, unit selection with its thick rotating bars, sound design, vfx, of basically every kind, art assets, and game design, its all lacklustre from the supurb job of DWU, I feel the number 1 way they messed up was going 3d. I played a patch or so ago, and reaaaaally tried to get passed my issues with the usability, then i see examples of other games that got their designs worked out like sins II / wayward terran frontier / starcom unknown space which seem comparible interesting features. I see DW2 as 2 steps back. Its negative but trust me if they solved their issues, my tough love would sing their praises. I see nothing I like.
@@Bigtooly that sounds fair. In defence though DW:U has been in development a lot longer than DW2. Maybe its just a case of it needing more time in the oven?
I'm hyped for this release! Distant Worlds 2 has come on such a long way and it's so good to see these new features added to the game.
The update to the war targets seems great, and can't wait to try the war missions system
I will be buying for sure.
Fantastic!!! Can't wait!!
Honestly can’t wait to buy the next DLC 🤝
As long as you continue to release stuff on GOG, i'm gonna buy it, because this is looking better and better!
Oh Shakturi, most beautiful of all disasters!
Thanks for the preview. Looking forward to it.
reminds me of the shivans in design from FS. Nicely done
100% it made me nostalgic for that game . i love that that both FS and this game have that babylon 5 feel to them

Finally. Nice.
Now just Pirate missions like in Universe just beeing perfect are missing ^^
Very excited!!!

Are you considering adding HOME BASE for construction vessels? So that they return to their home space port after completing the task?
How to you build outposts? Colony Ships or Construction Ships (similar to resort bases)?
I love Distant Worlds 1 and 2. At first I found the amount of automation a little bizarre, but I got used to it.

It's out! And at good price for such great features!

What does "setting the attack point do?" Thank you.
Nice
So... No order queues?
When multiplayer mode?

lol *awesome music plays, instantly catches attention*
- 'let me just turn off the music' -.-
Distant Worlds 2: Where Many 4Xs Have Gone Before
clearly you never played dw1 or 2. If you had, you would know how different and unique they are
took you long enought, I've lost interest on this game already
k thx bye

How is this not an improvement? This update adds a huge amount of content to the game
@@Corusame im a fan boy too, but this kind of blindness doesnt help them, stop it
@@Bigtooly I'm just confused as to what the problem actually is. Could you expand on it and explain? would be appreciated
