No waffling, just straightforward simple step by step advice that anyone with a bag of spanners and a bit of common sense can follow ...............top man !
Only thing to add is around the safety aspect, your sticking your head and body into the wheel arch and relying on the jack alone. Always get an axle stand and use the jack as a secondary means of support, think belt & braces. If your jack had decided at that point to let go then it would have been game over. I'm not perfect by any means and have cut corners many times over the years but having seen first hand what happens when it goes wrong, it really isn't worth the risk for the sake of a few minutes setting up. Other than that, very instructive video that will give some confidence for others to tackle these jobs, brake callipers look great too by the way 👍🏻
I have a axle stand just out of shot under the body mount on the sill. Cheers anyway.
Great video mate. Useful to know the tools I need before I do it myself. Cheers
Great vid - thanks for sharing this fella 👍
Don't know if anybody else noticed but the new retaining spring was fitted upside down to how the old spring came off. Other than that it was a good video.
Those pads looked like they had lots of life left to them, why did you decide to replace? I have an L322 and I am getting from brake squeal at very low speeds. Figure I need to put some anti squeal paste on the back of the pads.
What a great clip, many thx
I might get an Alive Tuning remap this year. I’d only trust them or BAS
How long did these stay quiet? I've read that these big brembos on the 322 and 405 only like genuine pads and rotors.
Also Advanced Factors sell some great kits too 👍👍

excellent vid. Subscribed
best to do your own if you can
Do you grease the pins and bolt?
In a word, no. Just clean them up on a wire wheel. Grease is not a great idea on a part that you want to stay where it is.
Brakes were rubbish on my 2012 l322 there old knackers now
My l405 sdv8 is light years away from my old l322
Yes do fancy the newer model alittle out of my reach at the moment . Do love the 4.4tdv8 engine tho
You realise they use the same brake system....?
