Layout expansion update # 32

In this video i go over the canyon scene and explain what is going on there. Then onto back ground scenery and the making of the trees.

Wow Dave. I always say that I'm inspired by the works of fellow modelers. Love the derail boxcar idea and I usually don't use the base for the trees but I do drill a hole in the tree and use a small wire tube also because it's easy to install and remove from the layout. Thanks for sharing 😊👍🏾

Thank you, Ron.I'm humbled if I have inspired you. I had an old box car that was broken and thought the canyon needed some thing and there it is. The trees where for fill ins, but I think they worked well for this spot. Thanks.

That boxcar crash in the ravine is incredible, it happens in real life but no one ever models it, great scene. I’ve subscribed, number 138, and I look forward to catching up.

Great tips on making those trees. I’ve used those to make dead trees on a diorama.

Thank you, Mark. I just don't like the base and no way to stick them into the layout. But all in all they do make good back ground trees.
