Thank you, Dru. It was out of necessity.
I like the stone arch David. And nice job on the bumpers!
@@SchuylkillRiverValley Thank you, John. I thought it was a nice touch and the bumpers where out of necessity.
Great video! Your layout is coming along nicely. Very impressive in so many ways. Your weathering is spot on and realistic. The mine weathering was done very well. Thanks for sharing
@@NewHavenRails Thank you, Ron. I feel that I'm still learning and there's more to come.
Great entry and nice tank cars. They look great on your layout.
@@TwoRailfans Thank you.

David excellent update , everything looks fantastic you still have more work to do , layout looks fantastic
@@dundasjunctionmodelr.r-jam8267 Thank you Dundas. For watching and your encouraging words.
Your layout looks fantastic! I would do the tank car challenge, but with only a test track I would run out track quick.😄
Thank you, Mark. It would definitely be a short run.
Three tank cars are perfect! Love your train and layout. Such nice small details in N like the graffiti on the bridge. 😊 Thanks for joining my challenge. ☺️👍
Thank you, Terry, for challenging us with this challenge. I'm glad to be a part of this community.
@@fbrailroad4628 awesome.

Thank you, Pappy.
If we watch it 5 times then you will have 15 tankers cool video, great job
Thank you!
Great update Dave. That's what I was thinking of add a small hill to create some distance. The removal rock wall is an excellent idea too. Take your time with your ideas and don't feel rushed to complete the scene. Thanks for the sharing 👍🏾
Thank you, Ron.Had to do something. It was all too close together and this is working. Thanks for your kind words and support. And I plan to take as long as necessary to finish the scene. I want it to look good.
Looking good. Nice way to block the mine. Thanks for sharing. Dave
Thank you, Dave. I had to do something the tracks where too close together and I think this is a good compromise. Thanks for watching and your support.
Coal mine is coming along nicely David - looking great. I think the view block is a fantastic solution. I love how you're making it removable - will save some colorful language in the future. LOL.
@@SchuylkillRiverValley thank you for watching and your comments, John. And you are right I'm sure being removable will save on the language.
That was a great solution to solving that visual issue…question, that switch directly behind the left rock divider, how are you operating it?
@@georgiasunbelt Thank you for watching and your comment and question. I'm using a switch machine.
Beautiful work, David. 😎👍🏼
@@DruSteel69 Thank you, Dru for watching and for your kind words.
Wow awesome. You captured a lot of detail in a very small space. Awesome 👍🏾.
@@RonMontagueSWRR Thank you, Ron.I need to go back and update the trees and other things because my skills have improved.
Nice share friend!

Nice update 👍 the scenery looks great, nice blending 👍
Thank you,Jessen, for watching and your kind words. I'm glad you liked it.
Nicely done,,good looking layout,,one project at a time,,but I like the way it looks,,sprinkle stuff around the layout as you like and place odds and ends everywhere,,thanks for sharing,,😊
Thank you, Frankkie, for watching and your kind words. As they say the layout is never done. I'm still building but go back and add details here and there.
Nice coal train and trees. I probably need to check my wheels. Great update, layout is looking good! Thanks for sharing. Dave
Thank you, Dave. I do like the longer coal train. And the trees came out nice thanks to Boomer. Thanks for your comment and for watching.
Whoa. Just now saw this video. Awesome job, David. Thanks for accepting the challenge. Love the landscapes too. Happy modeling. 😎👍🏼
Thank you, Dru. I thought it was a good challenge.
@@fbrailroad4628 Thanks David.
Nice scenic work you’ve been doing…you got the rock painting dialed in…you scratch build your coal business? Looks great! That viaduct 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽…
@@georgiasunbelt Thank you, Anthony. Yes I did scratch build most of it. One piece is from a kit (the dark brown piece). Thanks for watching and your comment. Glad you enjoyed it.
Awesome video, David. Great update. Beautiful landscape and love all the bridges. Great job with your trees and mail call. Love the runbys. Happy modeling. 😎👍🏼
Thank you, Dru. Glad you like the runbys.
Wow a lot packed into this one, first the coal train is impressive. 2 miles heck yeah. Pretty good mail call.. scenery looks great as always. Your tree turned out great as well
Thank you, Pappy. No competition for that one you just posted, but I try. Glad you enjoyed this video.
Great update Dave. Love the coal mine scenery. Like you said, I enjoy watching others techniques and ideas. I hope maybe I helped or inspire someone in some way. Thanks for sharing.👍🏾
Thank you, Ron. I'm sure you do inspire people, Ron. I like your graphite and hope to do some of it as well as you do. Glad you enjoyed it.
Nice job on the scenery David, the layout's looking great! Cool new pine trees. Gotta love a nice long coal drag!
Thank you, John. I'm moving along slowly but steadily. I saw Boomer make the trees and said I can do that. I had the drag with only 7 cars and found I could add 6 more. I'm working on that now.
I'm down below in 77 degrees...still staying cool. Nice update....
Thank you, Hun, Love yah.
The layout is looking great. Nice job on the trees. Nice mail call.
Thank you, Dave. Saw it on Boomer's channel and had to try it.
Hi David, layout really coming along nicely, glad you got the switcher sorted out
Thank you, Dave. It was frustrating having the switcher stop at the switches as it did. Only by observation did I find the problem. Thank you for your comment and watching.
That was a fully loaded episode, a lot of everything. Great tutorial on doing the rocks.
Thank you, Derek. I hope it helps.
Great job on that scene. Have you ever done a rock tutorial on your videos?
Yes, I have, Derek. Look at layout expansion update # 10. Thank you for your kind words and subscribing.
That boxcar crash in the ravine is incredible, it happens in real life but no one ever models it, great scene. I’ve subscribed, number 138, and I look forward to catching up.
Thank you, Derek. Great to have you on board. I thought that the canyon needed something and I had a broken box car. So.
Great tips on making those trees. I’ve used those to make dead trees on a diorama.
Thank you, Mark. I just don't like the base and no way to stick them into the layout. But all in all they do make good back ground trees.
Wow Dave. I always say that I'm inspired by the works of fellow modelers. Love the derail boxcar idea and I usually don't use the base for the trees but I do drill a hole in the tree and use a small wire tube also because it's easy to install and remove from the layout. Thanks for sharing 😊👍🏾
Thank you, Ron.I'm humbled if I have inspired you. I had an old box car that was broken and thought the canyon needed some thing and there it is. The trees where for fill ins, but I think they worked well for this spot. Thanks.
Nice looking trees. Great update and thanks for sharing. Dave
Thank you, Dave. And thank you for your kind words.
Yep Dan's Trains is a great shop. I go here when I can. Great video and thanks for sharing. Dave
Thank you, Dave.
Neat wreck scene under the bridge…nice tree tutorial…and scenic blending…
Thank you, Anthony.
that crash scene is pretty cool.. call you the tree master now !
Thank you, Sparky. I needed some easy to make trees and they worked.
Love the boxcar David - very cool. Nice job on the background trees.
Thank you John. I had an old broken box car and needed something interesting in the canyon.
Cool trees and the boxcar scene is very original. I like it. Great update, David. 😎👍🏼
Thank you Dru. What else do you do with a broken box car? Turn it into scenery.
@@fbrailroad4628 😁😎👍🏼
Thanks for sharing Dave. Glad you had a great vacation.
Thank you, Ron. I wanted to do the meet and greet, but had prior plans so I did my best to do something train related.
Cool museum! There’s nothing better then visiting a Train Shop. I like that Christmas car.
Yes it was and there was another room full of train pieces. I will never forget where that car come from.
It was a great show of historical items done in pictures, and in train displays...great place for an enthusiast.
Nice train shop Dan (Randy) has…neat museum…hope you had a wonderful time
It was a great time, Anthony.
amazing places! nice museum and train shop and tour. that's a great Walthers kit :)
It was a nice museum with another room full of awesome pieces. And finding a train shop in Tenn. wasn't easy, but I'm glad I did find one.
