Neil was fantastic singer songwriter remember seeing him live so funny 😂
"Gownless evening strap"...😄
Love the white tuxedo, handkerchief, and hair. Now the world knows from where Keith Floyd stole his look. 🤣
One of the best programmes ever, and this song a great pastiche on the Rolling Stones ‘Faraway Eyes’. I can’t understand why the BBC don’t show this nowadays. Innes is sadly missed…
I love this song but then I love all his songs! The whole Innes Book of Records should have been on DVDs years ago.
Thanks for sharing! Very clever satire on male chauvinism from the one and only Neil Innes. May he rest in strength.
How idiotic can you be? Before marriage, healthy man is a hunter, honing his techniques of seduction in search of what he thinks is worthwhile. After marriage, nine times out of ten woman´s essential mediocrity turns life into a bore. The hunter grows tired and old, and he just loses interest. Because women are intrinsically un-interesting beings. How idiotic can you be? As idiotic as you can: you are a woman!
Wonderful stuff. The one and only Innes - what a talent - and a lovely person.
Neill was a genius
got that right!
A man so gifted and now missed. Paul McCartney could write good songs too!!
That's not my mind.
