Butcher is always so generous with his time and willingness to tell the same stories, but it’s SO refreshing to land on an interview that doesn’t make him do so, and is instead really well-prepared, provided new insights, and is just fun.

Fantastic job on your Interview! This conversation with Jim was a breath of fresh air in a sea of previous Q&As where the same questions and answers have been regurgitated ad infinitum. Really appreciated your upping the level of difficulty and veering into unexplored thoughts/questions territory.

Damn you can just really tell when an interviewer is up to date with an author's responses to things, great job Jake. You and Jim have a great rapport and makes the whole thing feel like its just two people goofing off.

I opened this video thinking it will be a video of Jake answering frequently asked questions about Jim Butchers work and almost fell of my chair when I saw it’s an interview with the man himself. I’ll go make some lunch and watch this while having lunch… can’t wait !

Best interview I’ve seen with Jim. I’ve searched for his interview in the past and it’s always the same boring questions that he has the same answers for. I don’t blame him that’s what I’d do too for those interviews. 😂
