Eeek thank you for saying that. I literally thought about it for days because I didn’t want to put wood filler in the holes and then you’d still see the different color and then even if you tint the filler you’d still see a hole shape. So thanks for noticing this haha!
Love this hack! Also the quality of this video... If I had seen this being recommended to me I would've thought that it must be a huge channel! Definitely keep going! ♥
@@iceill3425 hey. I’m sorry I just saw this! How did it go? I hope I’m not too late. I think you could but I’m scared it will be too thick when you staple it?
Hi Dominique. Thank you. I am glad you like it. Hmm if it was me I would probably use spray cans in that case if you wanted it metallic. One with a primer so then you don’t have to prime the wood. I think that would be the easiest option. What metallic color are you thinking?
You always ask the best questions! I didn’t even think to add this. Can you please review my videos going forward and be my advisor or what I miss 🙏🏼😂 hmmm. I’d say you could finish in half a day for sure.
You can could make like a shelf cabinet out of it. They are originally meant to be shelves. So my only idea would be to make the ikea shelves and then use burlap for the back and sides and leave the front open and then paint color of choice on the wood. That could be an interesting diy hack
Hi Yasmina. I only did one coat actually. I didn’t want it this dark. Looking back I didn’t wipe off the excess wax fast enough so mine got pretty dark. One of the frames though, when I rubbed the wax on I immediately wiped it up straight away and that frame turned out a little lighter. Are you using the exact same wax and color that I did?
Thanks for responding! I actually had a different wax by accident which was much lighter than the one u used so i just got the right one and it turned out great! Thanks a lot!! Been looking for a room divider for ages and now i have one that is so chic and elegant and most importantly made by me ❤
@@yasmina-el This makes me so happy to read! Thank you for your comment Yasmina. It makes me want to make one for myself now hehe. Any chance you wouldn't mind sending me a photo of yours? I would love to see it

hiding the holes hack is awsome

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for! Thank you so much for the detailed step-by-step!
This was a totally perfect screen video! A HUGE thank you for the start to finish how to instructions. The screen is truly gorgeous!

Thank you Samira. I’m glad you like it
I ordered everything today and I’m making one this weekend
Oh that’s exciting. Good luck and let me know how it goes. 😍
@@SallySaraClark will do... Quick question
Can I fold the burlap and make it thicker and no so "see through"?

Awesome results! Do you have any suggestions for paint or stain if I wanted to make it metallic?

Yay I’m glad I made it look easy 😍
Love an IKEA hack!! So gooooddd 👏👏
Thank you! Me too. So satisfying seeing the change. Hehe
I can’t believe this was an ikea shelf!!! So without the filming, how long do you think this hack takes?

It’s definitely more than that i think
Looks great! Well done
Thank you Ahmad. I’m glad you liked it. Thanks for watching 🤍
Also! Any suggestions if I wanted to add a few shelves to it?
I don’t know how stable it would be with shelves. I can’t quite picture what you have in mind for that. Let me know what you are thinking

How many coats have you done to achieve that dark brown colour i have done my first and it’s no where near that colour you have

This is a lot of work, but you did amazing! Good job!
I’m not going to lie. It ended up being more work than I expected, but well worth it. Much cheaper than buying one hehe.
And thank you 🙏🏼 🤍
