Hey guys welcome back to another time lapse extreme cleaning video! This one is sure to give you some extreme cleaning motivation!! In this one I'm decluttering and cleaning the kid's rooms. You guys have told me many times to downsize the kids stuff, so this week I got around to it and we moved some items around to make things a bit more functional. We collected waaay to much this year, so I feel AMAZING having done this 😁🙌🏽
I will be sure to share how the rooms are working out in next week's video. I'm gonna deep clean the whole house!

It looks so nice, great job. I try to declutter clothes as I wash. I keep a basket in the laundry room as soon as it's full I take it to good will. I have 4 kids and pulling all there clothes out at once frightens me 😳

Actually it means crap lol my kids love electronics and the house is still a pigsty. It can take one kid 10 mins to mess it up, and if it’s left that way it just continues. Just because toys are out doesn’t mean they were played with. 🤪🤷🏻♀️this is just in my case not speaking for her or her family.
I think it's like xmas it's the thrill of taking the toys out, not sure they even play with them half the time.

Finally a cleaning video I can relate too.
As a mom of 4 I watch cleaning videos for motivation when I’m overwhelmed. Many of them have a maybe few a crumbs out and they are like
“look at this mess but hey it’s real life” 🤦🏼♀️

Love your videos but just saying if my kids destroyed the room like that and they constantly destroyed after I took all that time to clean it best believe the only thing they would have in that room was books

I just found your channel & I must say I love the way you let your kids play... I think most parents forget that is the best part of being a kid 😉 don't let other ppl make you think you are doing wrong ~to each their own~ ☺ However in a couple more years I would have them start to do more of the work this is what I did with my boys. They are teens now and do their own laundry start to finish & keep their rooms tidy threw the week while dusting & vacuum once a week all on their own!!! Parent goals😅😅 Thanks for keeping it real & sharing!

I used to be stressed about working and house stuff and I felt like the crappiest person for yelling and snapping about my kids things or them playing with playdough and crayons while I was busy and we could afford after school activities.🤦🏽♀️ Ever since they just do whatever within safety of course and no slime. I hate that. Lol I was the same. I didn't have chores but I been taking care of my things and laundry since I was 13. I moved out when pregnant so I don't know any other way of living that single person life. Having things my way. So this is ours. thanks for watching..❤️

Out of all the people I watch... and there are lots .... you are the only one that vacuums the mattress!! I do too, every week when I change sheets and I sprinkle on baking soda
🤣🤣 really!! yes! It's a must. Every time I wash the bed cover protector I vacuumed the mattress. I love the baking soda too.
Thank you for showing us an actual messy house with kids!!! My 4 tiny tornadoes destroy my house regularly. I have gotten rid of SO MUCH, yet they still manage to make messes everywhere. Glad to see there’s another mom struggling to stay afloat!!! Hang in there, and awesome job!

Dang girl you did a bang up job on those two rooms! I would of been totally overwhelmed. I tidy everyday so I don’t get too spun out by the mess.
You know when I started going for a more minimalist home I had to get rid of toys. Purged alot. I sold a 20 cube organizer and bought an 8 cube one. So we had to be very selective of what we kept.What I noticed was my daughter was more creative and imaginative when she had less to go through. I also told family and friends to please not buy toys and do gift cards. We now gets GC to go to the movies,chuckee cheese,play centers around our home. It's been so much less stressful.

Yeah I'm glad to have Decluttered. I would live the family to get more on board with helping to out them in activities verse toys.

Exactly what I'm saying I would never let my stuff get like that I literally wouldn't be able to look at my daughter in her play room walking over things like I work a 12 hr job and still do the rest lol my dark circles are no joke
It naturally gets like this. The kids step over stuff unless they teleport or something, but that's pretty unlikely. Sometimes stuff overflows into the hallway and I shove it back in with my foot.
If the rooms get like this we know they aren’t always on electronics

I’m glad you also trash things. Some people try to say donate everything. Some things can be in disrepair and I don’t just donate junk I like it to still be nice and useable for someone else.

No we did thier sleeping room first, then they left for the night and I did the playroom alone. When they came back they were sad about 5 items. But not an issue matter. Otherwise they were excited and liked seeing so many toys left in the catagories. Like 10+ Barbie's and all the baby doll outfits ect.

The toy organization 😍 I have to do this with my sons toys every few months. It’s crazy how many little pointless things they acquire that pile up in the toy box. (Or end up all over the house) 😂

I'm glad I found this because I'm a single mother of two elementary kids and my house is most of the time destroyed and all do is clean and sometimes I can't do it then a week goes bye and well it gets neglected and gross and it doesn't help that I have fibromyalgia and bratty kids 😜jk maybe not strict enough but my point thanks for the motivation and showing that yea its normal and there's a difference between people who have kids and those who don't 👏🙏💝🙏

You have so much patience with the kids toys, especially what looks like the small stuff. Not my cup of tea lol! Also, just a suggestion, target (and Amazon) has a stuffed animal hammock between $9-$13. It hangs in the corner of the room. Could save you some closet space if needed. 😊
I loved watching you do a major decluttering of your kids spaces. There was ALOT of stuff! You did a great job getting rid of a bunch of it & your girls are so cute too. I remember all those little tiny pieces that went w/my kids toys. I was obsessed w/keeping it all together. I spent a lot of time organizing. I wish we could really move in time lapse speed when we wanted to..lol.. 👍👌🐱
Hahaha yes the small stuff is agony but they love it most. Lol I can't blame them with my smaller decor stuff I like to buy lol

As a parent I found it always very useful and helpful to reduce the number of toys and items my son has. Too many items and toys often result in kids not knowing what to play, which makes them begin games here and there, but not playing anything REALLY. When my son was younger (8-13) he had one big box of Legos, one cookie tin full of plastic figures, some books, some matchbox cars, paper (together with pens, pencils, glue and so on), beads (you can create pictures with those beads and them iron them - I don't know what these are called in English, it's not my mothertongue :)) and he was allowed to use the computer to play with for 2 hours a day plus watching a movie once or twice a week. He didn't need more to play for hours. Moreover, we always encouraged him to play outside. When he was 10, we bought him a tend and a sleeping bad and he spent literally the whole summer outside in the garden. Plus when he was 12, he received a knife and started carving wood.
I find it very important to buy high quality toys. We never accept those cheap plastic toys that come with kids menus in fast food resturants, for example, because they just tend to clutter the bedroom and not really bring much joy.
Today he's 15 and the smartphone and computer have risen in importance, which is quite sad to watch. The more he uses these things, the more often he complains about feeling bored (which he never did before). So all in all, I think the new technologies do our kids not really good and we as parents need to limit the use for our children.
All in all I would do everything again like I did before. Fantasy is much more worthy than a large number of toys and items. Plus it keeps the kids bedroom clearer :)

I love these type of videos. I have a question, and it’s not meant in a mean way. Have you done anything to get the children to clean up after they are done playing? I was watching thinking that you cleaned this room already recently. I hope you don’t have to keep cleaning it from that state. I had to tell my son to respect our home because he would throw his toys down rather than put them away. I feel like it was my fault after a while because as a toddler he was really respectful. I think I just started being too easy on him. I wasn’t respecting our home either. When I was ready to do it I had to teach him to respect our home all over again. It so much easier to clean up 30 minutes to an hour for deep cleaning. Rather than taking the whole day to clean up days or weeks worth of a mess. I can definitely relate and hope nothing but the best for you and your family.
Thanks yes. It got like this weekly and biweekly u til I cleaned it. We had them clean up but Eve 30 minutes of them cleaning want doing much because we just had to much stuff.
Now with this amount it will be a lot more manageable. They like having the organization, they always have, we just had to much. I don't mind them cleaning up . But it's still not the same as me doing it for now. They do help me though and help fold towels and my toddler likes to vacuum and what not.

Mom Likely! I have my son take one minute three times a day to clean up his area where he plays his game. We had a lot of stuff too so I had to get rid of a lot. I have shopping problems.
🤣🤣 I used to be like that with books. The last time I Decluttered their books I got rid of about 40 and so I'm not buying no more because they get them as gifts too. Lol
Might help in that bunk bed room to get rid of the pullout drawer and get a small bookshelf for the corner. (:
No way. Then crap will get under the bed more. We used to have a book shelf in there but he books were always everywhere
