It's definitely Time to thank you for the Work you do with that Channel. I'm too depressed and stressed to do much, but at least listening to this, makes it easier to get up and at least do my medical Stuff.
Doesn't help with everything, but at least it makes some Things more bearable
When I was quite young, I used to get headaches quite frequently. I got them so often, that I thought it was perfectly normal and not a big deal. In fact, I remember being at my friend's house one time and I mentioned I had a bit of a headache. His mom asked if I wanted any medicine; or if I wanted to go home. I politely declined but, in my head, I was wondering why she asked me that. Like, it's just a headache; it's no big deal
This is really interesting. You should do a part 2 for this topic. I wonder if nearly everybody has something unusual about them but just not know about it because they never brought it up before.
Free walmart donuts reminds me of pre-covid. Used to be able to go by the bakery section of most grocery stores and kids could get free cookies. 1 cookie per kid. Fred Meyer (Oregon and Washington, owned by Kroger) had the best free cookies
OMG I saw a lady GO OFF the other day in our local grocery store deli because they don't do this anymore. She had a whole Karen meltdown over it and threw the whole cookie table over.
@@bunnycakes7897those must be some damn good cookies

I actually have synesthesia, (in particular I have Lexical-gustatory: Words taste like something, and Ordinal linguistic personification: Ordered sequences, like days of the week, are associated with personalities or genders. Though this second one is very minimal comparatively.) It's not every word for me but a lot of words, it's not even something I notice a lot every day, just when I really focus on it. The word "lunch" tastes like a cold-cut sandwich with lettuce, if I focus on it I can even get the sensation of taking a bite. Other words have tastes and sensations but that's the one I get the most intense reaction to when I think of it.
I’m so excited to see your comment! I have never found anyone who thinks of words as personalities. I knew I had synesthesia, but no one I met or heard about seemed to feel a personality to things the way I did. For me, it’s numbers that have personalities. Colors too. It makes it really easy to remember long sequences of numbers since I just see a bunch of brightly colored “people” with different personalities. The longer the sequence the more pronounced the personality trait. I’d never confuse 7 with 700 because although 7 is cool. 700 wears a tux!😅😂 Anyway thanks for sharing that comment. I feel a bit more comfortable about it now.
I do have synesthesia, my senses mix sounds and colors, the letters have colors end textures... It's nice!
Do you like your name? What does your name look like?
The getting really good at puking speaks to me with anxiety. Used to be able to dip out of a situation and puke and come back like nothing happened. Not a sound or sign.
My father and I are also very bad at remembering faces. Combined with a very bad memory, that's a recipe for disaster ^^
There are a few people whose faces I can't remember no matter how often I see them. It's always surprising. On the other hand, I can remember voices very well.
I sometimes get the control dream thing, but I wake up with 2 versions of events: 1 where I controlled the dream and 1 where I experience the dream. One time in a lucid dream I seemingly joked with myself, the only time I interacted with the dream controller in a dream
Story 30: my family also says sweep for well sweeping with a broom and vacuuming, we also call vacuums sweepers interchangeably, is that not normal? Is it a regional thing?
I think it may be a regional thing.
My oldest had a bowl of tuna casserole. You know, 1 can of tuna, 1 can of cream of whatever soup, and a pound if cooked pasta. So very little tuna per bowl. I got mad and yelled at him about who had hit him at school. His lips were off and puffy. He then said "no, mom. Tuna makes my tongue itch"! I was horrified to find out he nearly was in anaphylaxis.
A doctor visit later, he was allergic to tuna all cod and every ragweed on the planet. Explains his constantly runny nose.
Now, the weird thing here is that he's 40 now, and many tests later and his allergies have changed! Tuna is fine now, but cashews are bad. He has to get repeat tests for changes. It's very weird, but it's his life.
It's actually very common for allergies to change. People have allergies to things they were never allergic to before and vis versa all the time.
20:59 I have the same problem sadly, it’s very embarrassing. I thought it was very normal for my entire childhood
This reminds me of that Christmas episode of Always Sunny in Philadelphia when Mac realized nobody followed his family’s Christmas tradition and his family was actually raiding people’s houses for Christmas gifts
My dad's sister didn't know how to tell when cooking oil was hot. I was around 11 and she was having us over for fondue. I had gotten bored with the conversation the adults were having and wandered into the kitchen. My dad's sister was going through the recipe book trying to find out how to tell when cooking oil was hot. When she couldn't find the answer, she commented out loud that she would just treat it like water and WAIT FOR IT TO BOIL. I walked over to the pot of oil, lifted the lid, and told her that the oil was plenty hot and that boiling oil is a VERY bad idea
Some teenage males do produce small amounts of milk during parts of puberty.
I have synesthesia! I dont taste words i experience colors (its not exactly seeing colors but words and sounds all have colors to me that are very clear and dont change). The word cradle to me is blue and white for instence. Harmonica is green and yellow and i think its funny because those could be sour colors and the word guinea is a dark red color for me XD
Thank you for sharing this. I was thinking that there was something similar but with colors instead of tastes
@ladymorrigan5950 no problem! There's a lot of versions it seems like. Brains are weird XD
When I was in high school one of my friend's neighbors was this crazy old hermit that lived alone. He had one window that had the screen removed, and every now and then for whatever reason he'd stick his ass out the window and take a crap. At any time of the day or night, you never knew. We'd be sitting out back playing D&D when all of a sudden there's this ass right there laying cable on the bushes, then the window slams shut.
I don’t have the dream choice situation or lucid dreaming but I am able to make myself wake up from a nightmare or any dream really. In the dream I know I’m dreaming and I repeat ‘Wake up wake up’ until I do.
When I a was a kid, the neighbors son was visiting with me and my younger brothers. He peed on head. lol
omg omg I have the ear cleaning causing your throat to tickle! I was literally thinking it over last night. Also when I lift something heavy in my arms, the muscles around my upper lip move upwards. Also if I experience a sudden change in temperature, my neck will abruptly snap to the right. I have more weird things like that but I don't remember them all.
1st story:
I can smell pictures
Doesn't happen often or last long but I can sometimes smell things like characters
I thought everyone got hives when they started to sweat, turns out I'm just allergic to my own sweat. I had no idea I should talk to a doctor about it until I was in my mid 20s and offhandedly mentioned to my mom that I hate how sweat and being hot causes hives, how she never noticed I have no idea.
i had to sleep with socks on my hands so i would not itch my arms raw as a kid. I had really bad echemia as a kid and it would end up on my arm the worst at night in my sleep i would itch like crazy and wake up with scaps from it. Sleeping in socks helped with that and saved me from chicken pox scars when they came during a bad ecemia outbreak.
Everyone has a little hint of synesthesia. There was an article in the New Scientist magazine 10 or 15 years ago about the colour of numbers. I think you can still find it online. Pretty fascinating.
Story 16: Why did that girl HAVE to tell her friend that? She could of lived her whole life without ever having trauma if that person didn't tell the school? If she has PTSD from that, it's his fault.
I correlate numbers with colors each number is the same color every time. I can look or imagine the number and see their color
i have amblyopia. or 'lazy eye' the vision in my left eye is blurred. my pre op photos of me as a toddler show my eyes slowing going cross eyed. i had the surgery when i was 5 then again in 1996 after a difficult birth. the pushing during labor popped the muscle and my eye turned out. my eyes are now aligned but my left eye vision will always be blurred. FYI i tried prism glasses but they didn't work expensive trial
Wow I too have this eye thing! I also thought it was normal until one day someone said their eyes were tired and I suggested they use their eyes one at a time like I do.
@@gabriell4747 right?? My parents took me to the doctor because I kept covering my left eye while I was watching TV!
There are indeed fruits that should make your mouth itch and swell..... But we don't eat those typically
I saw my cousin stuck under the bed , just left him
Not drying off after a shower/before dressing, the feeling of dry clothing on my damp body will make me physically gag. My wife barely dries off at all before dressing and I've never understood. I like to shower at night before bed so I can dry myself with a towel and then lie against the end of my bed on another towel in front of my fan, on high, until my whole body is dry. Like, lifting the tits and tummy to dry underneath. I just can't stand being damp under my clothes!
I accidentally stole a bathing suit bottom once. I was 13 and was trying on several. I kept my own underwear on (duh) so I didn't feel when I left one on. I kept trying others on, then when I got to the bathroom in a different store later that day, I saw them and freaked out. Threw them in the little hygiene disposal bin 😅
I air dry but i do not put clothes on while im wet or lay on anything lol
Pineapple can make your mouth numb because it has the same enzyme as meat tenderizer
First but good video I always enjoy these
You have not even watched it also i was here before you but did not comment
@@senatorstevenmemestrong6410I was first to comment lol but it doesn’t matter and your right I just assume all his videos are good because they usually are😊
For story 1: I don't have synesthesia, but I do relate sounds with colors. It's more in a musical sense than anything else, as I use colors to describe different tones in music. Like one singer's voice will be more orange and another will be more purple. Given that sound quality is often described with different sensory adjectives like warm, bright, etc, I don't find this to be all that strange. It can be difficult to explain what I mean when I'm talking to anyone else though 😆
Everybody does associations like that to a certain extent. There was a notable experiment where most people associated “kiki” with a pointy shape and “bouba” with a rounded one.
This is a similar thing, just with colors.
Ew, I’m not dressing when I’m still wet from the shower 🚿😵💫
Came here for weird things people do, came out with so many disgusting food/eating/vomit stories that it makes me want to puke, myself. Horrible video to listen to while eating dinner 😂😂😂
