I wish you tried something like Chocapic13's or Sildur's shaders. They're both really beautiful and still aren't as intensive as a non-RTX ray tracing shader, obviously, so it'd be interesting to see how far you can set the render distance to.

I started minecraft on a single core Athlon 3800+ with a 7900 gs, now I have way, WAY more power than that, and all I can say is I miss the pixel-clarity I had on my old 85 HZ cathode ray tube monitor. Instant pixel update speeds that modern monitors can only compete with for $1,000 or more. I know we can get high frames per second now, but the way the pixels update brightness and color isn't the way light works in real life, but sending an actual ray of light, controlled by an electromagnet is a lot more accurate to how light works in real life. Motion has been blurry for the past 10 years since I threw away my last CRT, and I miss it.
You should try play on 1.8 or lower than that ,use 1by1 resuacepack and set everything to low as possiple i think it can give you more than Alot, Maybe you can reach 10,000 fps.

No resource packs? Sonic Ether's is made to add ray traced reflections, but you can't do that if you don't have a resource pack that adds reflective surfaces to begin with. It does add them to stained glass and water without it, but stuff like iron and gold will just look flat without one. Try it, it looks incredible
You should not use Integrated Server for those tests, but instead connect to some multiplayer (even your own) server - this way Minecraft won't be CPU-bound. I'm running Minecraft on Intel integrated graphics, and this solutions works very good, fps boost is very visible in newly discovered chunks because my computer doens't need to generate them anymore. Additional thing to this is that I can play with someone else :D

It's crazy that F3 can reduce the FPS drastically, you know what else does that? Having items in the hotbar, opening chat or the scoreboard, all of these impact framerate massively and it's pretty ridiculous, it should NOT happen.
If you use F1 to get rid of the display menu fps also goes up a decent amount

Javas performance is still very disapointing once you saw how good the game could actually run. You don't have to play it but if you once want some pure perfection and eyecandy, run the bedrock version with the new DLSS feature and RT enabeled. Well over 100fps with max render distance.
Shiet, 3000+fps? I honestly didn't even know you could get that many frames. But then again, my PC runs House Flipper at ≤11fps so anything above that would be a godsend.
The only thing I can afford maxing out is my suffering of 30 seconds per frame on my Intel HD Graphics. It's gonna take months beating the ender dragon. And I'm not talking about difficulty or my non-existent skill, just the rendering time

Minecraft is mostly CPU dependant. You’ll see a bigger increase in performance with a CPU upgrade.

3090 and 3070 have very similar performance in minecraft, the most important thing is fast ram and a good cpu

I have a Ryzen 5 3600 and GTX 1070. I get 700-1000 FPS on Vanilla MC. I guess it also depends on whats running on the pc at the time.
