Hello krk6216, i apologise profusely for only replying now as i only just saw your comment, i do read through my comments. Yes, i find it so sad that most Asian do NOT appreciate chinoiserie decor as much as Westerners. They see it as old fashioned, that is why i am using my youtube channel as a platform to inspire more Asians to love their culture. Just imagine Coco Chanel is such an iconic designer and she is clearly besotted with chinoiserie. I love Asian antiques and Asian decor!! I have a chinoiserie China cabinet, night stand and entry table!! I mix it up with European antiques as well! I also love JADE everything! My recent finds are nephrite jade FOO Dogs/ lions, creamy light green & spinach green & a Chinese antique pottery horse with a rider bearing gifts. 🥰 I have a few other Asian antiques too. I love your videos, thank you. ❤️

Everything is beautiful, the lady statue is so elegant, although she does look cold 🙂 Coincidentally, today I went to the MIA MUSEUM here in Minneapolis, and they’re having a fascinating Asian exhibition! There was a gorgeous antique jade collection, many antique horses similar to yours, snuff bottles, ancient antiquities and so so much more! I was blown away, and I was thinking how much you’d enjoy it!

I love chinoiserie. I wish I was in Asia to get chinoiserie painted wallpaper. It’s so expensive here in the USA. I don’t like the dragons and it’s something I avoid cuz it’s an occult symbol. The Bible describes Satan falling from heaven and is described as a dragon.
Hi Christine, thank you for watching and leaving a comment. I love chinoiserie as well, i am Catholic and initially i did not like the dragon but in Asia, it is considered a mythological creature, sort of like in a fairytale.
The lamp shown is marble,not ivory,ivory was never used for lamps!
